8-20 Uh oh. I feel momentum building. Again. Which is good. There has not been much of it since the climax of Ashley's second arc in her Alters storyline. You know I've lived for Summer vs Audra. I thought it was too early with the actresses when the Kyle/Audra fling happened. But now that both actresses have more experience, it's great to watch them go at it. And awwww at Kyle and Summer maybe approaching an agreement as well as Kyle and Audra coming to a bit of a truce. Billy continues to be an prick. And we know it's because he suspects Chelesa is lying to him. So I don't like him projecting onto Lily. But oooooo that that very slick Victor/Nikki tag-team that ended this episode. If I had time...I might watch the next episode. Victor was a hoot throughout the episode. Good to see Chance a little bit more. Though he tried to warn Billy...

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
RHoDubai Honestly...not a lot went on. I still loved it, but outside of the surprising brunch between Lesa and Stanbury, it was pretty much the Housewives going about their lives with a polo event at the end. And what a brunch it was!!! I think I might have to re-watch it to get all of the nuances on display. Because the wordplay they were using on each other...this was not a brunch. It just felt like Lesa and Stanbury were playing a game of chess with each other. Still, for two girls who dislike each other, it says something about both of them that they could sit down and hash it out in the interest of their mutual friend. Outside of the polo event, this episode was just great in how it showed some of the cast's lives. It was great to see Ayan working on her business. Not sure how I feel about the idea of Sara's son almost getting kidnapped though I loved the Nina cameo (and her shade hehe). And that final scene with Caroline and Sergio...just wooow. It felt so real, and I hate to say it...but I think he truly does love Caroline. CAROLINE. If Caroline Stanbury is going to do anything, she's going to show EVERYTHING. And she did. Girl went on a whole apology tour this episode to the point that even I am over it. So is Sara. And the friendship with Ayan might actually be important enough for her to actually be emotional about it and also HAVE A SITDOWN WITH HER NEMESIS. lol. And if there is anyone that Caroline is competing against...it's Lesa. And just her talking about her life and her birthday was very enlightening, and...it might actually be love with her and Sergio and it was nice to see that talk at the end. Heartbreaking though it might be in the long term. TALEEN. Outside of showing Saba how to do squats and the polo event, she didn't do anything this week. BROOKS. Outside of the polo event, she didn't do anything this week, either. If anything, it was nice to have it confirmed that she's known Taleen's husband longer than she's known Taleen. And that was why that fight at Caroline's housewarming was a cut too deep for her. SARA. lol. Nina said online that her cameo was totally last minute because she had run into Sara. Nice to see her regardless. And this story with Sara, the nanny, and her son....just WOW. I hope she punishes that woman for even considering the potential kidnapping. And the men wanting to even consider a kid is very foul and disgusting. Saba also continued to say nothing, but true about Sara's relationship with Akin. If he is insecure now when they are not married, how would he be if they were married? AYAN. Outside of her business meeting and her polo dress, she didn't really give much either. Except annoyance. Because she kept harping on the voice note business, and it just felt like everyone has now moved past it. And was it me or was she annoyed that Lesa/Stanbury are now getting along? I mean...really? LESA. I think we know where I stand with her and VoiceNoteGate. But it was the brunch that got me. It's not that Lesa has not shown she can have a civil conversation with someone she doesn't like. It was still surprising to see her sit down with Stanbury. And then the conversation. I felt what Lesa was saying was true, but just how she said it. Overall...it was just...there. Granted I'm no Brandi fan, but that does not take away from Andy and his nasty-ness.

I totally believe. Especially Bill Bell. Say what you want about Victoria Rowell, but Bill Bell appeared to take her advice and counsel when it came to story points that she felt was relevant to the black audience. And God bless her for doing so. I would argue about that last point, but I saw that casting call over in the spoiler thread that sounds like a recast. I would rather they focus on what they got, but it seems like a moot point or they never go where I would want them to go with what they got. Or worse, they recycle the story they just used with their black characters for their white characters with very little change. That was not even that long ago so...???

I'm the same way. There have been times when I'm not caught up, see the credits and know where to stop reading. Then I might come back later if there was something in the discussion that I wanted to touch on or no one touched on. And then he falls in bed with Nina of all people, and Carly's head explodes. Same. I felt Adamson gave Michael the edge that he had been missing with CD in the role. Or perhaps it's because he subbed in at the right times. I do agree on him as Noah on Y&R though.

8-16 First of all, Phyllis threatening Victor and Victor standing there and smirking in her face was the reaction I needed. Because I was right there with him when I thought... Second of all, I guess it's two for two on a decent week. It's funny how my viewing soap schedule has done a 180 in viewing pleasure. B&B is currently holding my interest where I was once bored. And Y&R appears to be slowly doing the same. Again in terms of storylines that are holding my interest. The Faith/Lucy storyline continues to do it. As I said before, it's been so long since there has been a young teen story on this show. And surprisingly it is very beliveable. and made all the more believable with Faith saying to Nick and Sharon that she's basically pitying Lucy who 'has no friends.' Well...harsh, Faith. But...sadly...very human. Lucy is currently grounded, and I like that all the parents (Nick-trying to hide that bubble from the camera hehe, Sharon, Daniel who has been looking snack-y, and finally Heather) are slowly learning about the drama between Faith and Lucy. But since Faith isn't being honest to Lucy...where is this storyline going? Given the obsessive phone calls Lucy has been making even though she's grounded, is Lucy about to go cray cray? And speaking of cray cray...I was looking forward to seeing Sharon on retreat. But this ghost of Cameron keeps saying that Sharon is hiding something from herself and that IT is in Genoa City. What? For the first time, I thought past trauma and since JG seems to want to take story ideas from outside of the writer room...could someone have told him about Sharon's father and we are FINALLY getting a story about her father? You betta walk, Audra!!!! lol. Her and Victor have way too much good chemistry. I mean in a master/right hand person kinda of a way. And I love when a boss have a right hand henchwoman so I'm loving their scenes. I continue to feel Summer is going to be responsible for her own downfall in this fight with Kyle. Moreso since Victor just talked to Kyle about it. And I also see a catfight is scheduled for Monday for her so hehe. I TOLD YOU!!!! Chelesa SHUT UP!!!! Now Billy and Sally have overheard them talking. I just want to shake her soooo badly. Where is the conwoman at to lie? Cuz ugh. I guess I care a little bit. At least for Sally. lol. I want Billy to fall on his face. And given the promo for next week...he's about to get his.

I liked it, but not as good as last season's trailer. LOVE that Mary is back as a Snowflake. And as usual, she's going to give us content. And it looks like it's going to be NEW content, too...the sign of a great Housewife. Meanwhile, say it ain't so? I love Meredith/Mary together. But it looks like it will be a good fallout with both getting their licks in. I'm shocked to say this...but if Lisa was still Fabulous Ice to me...I would say I was on her team in the Lisa vs Little Girl feud. But now? I'm actually Team Little Girl...who looks like (and forgive me @Gray Bunny for saying it) she will be using that Ashley Darby playback she got from Gizelle on ALL STARS 4 and was using last season a bit to maxmize a feud with Lisa. Could she be upping her game a la Porsha post-RHOA S5. Time will tell. And Lisa lunging...Guuurl. Let that be MONICA, I bet she wouldn't. Oh, the irony. And here comes Heather as a sniper from the side. Le sigh. I wish the others (outside of Mary) would see her for who she is. Instantly Team New Girl on that feud. But...they all appear to be putting in the work. Which they knew they would have to after Season 4. Might be watching. Same. And reading what you wrote, I wonder if Little Girl's voiceover at the beginning is referencing that re: Monica as well. If so, she is really is going to try to establish herself as the Ashley Darby of this show. Heather for me has been a case of the Emperor's New Clothes. Now that I see her for what she is, I cannot unsee her. So yes, I would love that the only reason she is center cast photo is because Production is about to do a takedown on her late in the season to top the Monica reveal that also came in later in the season last season. If so...clever.- Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Her rehearsed line that was a phenom that she wouldn't have had without Monica or even knowing from her henchwoman hairdresser on the webpage she already knew about...yeeeah NO.- GH: August 2024 Discussion Thread

I personally don't mind seeing the credits. It's the writer in me and I am curious. Also, it helped me when I was waiting PM to leave and New/Old Writers came on. And I knew back with the New/Old Writers that when I saw the name Lloyd Gold...I would be rolling my eyes. lol. And if it bothered me at all, I can simply use my arrow and move right past it without comment.- Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Yeah it looks legit since I see it as well. That said... OMG!!!!! @Cheap21 @NothinButAttitude @Cat it's true...Mary got her snowflake back!!!! And...MEH at Heather in center.- Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Well we know I love seeing Mary. And Little Girl is serving. Otherwise...meh. And still waiting to see if it's the real picture- Bravo's The Real Housewives of....

8-14 You know I'm going to talk about it!! And when I mean it...I mean...TRACI HAS A MAN, YOU'LL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SUCK IT, BEASTMASTER!!!! lol. But seriously, it was nice to see Traci back on the canvas. And with Alan. She immediately has a story in the making with Alan and his underlying issues from his childhood with Martin. Meanwhile, they are setting up for Ashley's eventual return to finish out her story for the fall. So...good. I also loved the Jack/Billy scenes. And I was really hating Billy being Billy at the start of the scenes. But at least, Billy remembered that he has a heart and showed compassion for his brother dealing with the Diane/Kyle mess. I'm always happy to see Chance. That said...ugh. Summer is going to wind up the bad guy in this situation, and I'm sad about that. Because when Kyle vs Summer started, she was not perfect, but Kyle seem to be the bad guy with his prick self.- B&B: August 2024 Discussion Thread
8-16 That was pretty good, too. I really can't believe that B&B is juggling multiple storylines again in an episode. Though some of them for me are better than others. Looking at you, NuTaylor!! I'm so sorry that I missed the dragging you all were talking about between Finn and Hope due to the episode prematurely vanishing off my system. But I did like the aftermath in this episode. And Finn didn't sugarcoat anything with Hope, either. How can you not like a man who is devoted to one woman...proving Sinn IS the signature couple. Go, Finn!!! I guess that does mean Thomas ain't coming back since NuTaylor said he, Paris, and Douglas are already back in Paris, still engaged. B plot easily has been the murder mystery. But I've loved how it rotates between the A plot and B plot with Steffy/Finn/Hope this week. So...Luna IS NOT Bill's daughter. So Tom was. And then that abrupt kiss? WOW. So is Luna a little cray cray? Could she have killed Tom and Hollis? That said...awwww to Li and Poppy's moment in prison. And bringing on the C plot is Taylor's return. Sorry. NO. They did such a great job of slowing introducing Taylor back to the canvas when she was played by KA that those scenes just paled in comparison.- Y&R: August 2024 Discussion Thread

8-14 First of all, ugh. I see the CBS player on my system is at it again. Deleting episodes wrong. So I guess I'm jumping right to 8-16. It's been a pretty good week if I'm that annoyed. lol. I guess my GH viewing is showing because I was shocked to see Alley Mills pop up in these Danny/Cricket crossover scenes. I totally forgot she played Pam. And now all I see is a better dressed Heather Webber. lol. I didn't mind Donna being all about Danny. She was not wrong. Who didn't like Michael Damian's 'Rock On' when she was younger? I mean...well...it was silly fun, but FUN. I liked Brooke and Steffy had a civil scene. But I hollered at Hope getting that drunk. And then she kissed Finn on top of that. Guuuurl!!! NO. And Katie/Will and Bill/Luna gave some nice B plot background. Speaking of Luna, I saw upthread something about her not being written for. I disagree. She was written for...AT FIRST. Note I said AT FIRST. Because when Luna was introduced, she was an intern who was trying to take her interest in fashion to the next level. She was pretty knowledgable about fashion, too. Right down to knowing that RJ had turned into an influencer. That was how they bonded. She had her own interests. Then she got with RJ and now she became known as the girlfriend until the Zende/Poppy/Mints story happened. Heck, she does not even seem to have much of a personality other than Good Girl now in this Bill is Luna's Dad storyline. When I felt she had more personality when she was introduced.- Y&R: August 2024 Discussion Thread
