2-12 Okay, Cathy 'Just got promoted to Script Editor' Lepard and Salmons. I see you. I eyerolled at the Head Name for the day, but that was a pretty good script turned in. For me, it was the little continuity nods. Trina's history with Cyrus. Tracy framing Alexis for Ned. Lucas and Maxie (MS know she looks great with that ponytail) hanging out...all they were missing was Original Georgie...that soooo took me back to that time. I really liked the parallel Kristina made between her and Lucky and Sonny and Luke cuz it takes me back to better days on GH. I'm right there with Liz. I was looking forward to her and Lucky's adventure with Cyrus. Now too many people know. And the best I can hope for is Cyrus taking her hostage. lol. That said...I do wonder how this will explode due to how many people are in the know. And I guess I am invested in Martin because I felt his concern for his brother for once. First when he was talking to Cyrus. And then when he called Anna out on her Jason association. Go, MEK, work with that better material. I liked how cute Lulu at Bobbie's was. Just the little scene with her and Joss. And of course, she was terrible subbing. lol. And then Dante joined in. It was a nice kind of silly, expected, and not forced at all. See? Comedy can be milked without it being so on the nose. I admit that I was wondering how Alexis was going to feel about Scout not being at the Q mansion with Danny and Rocco since it was Sam's wishes. So I kinda side-eye her coming down on Tracy when she really should be there on Drew. But I guess it was a nice way to neutralize Tracy out of the story. For now. Willow continues to look shameless and like a hussy every time I see her now. She really just don't care too much if she is soooo worried about how she will look to the town. I did appreciate that Nina tried to confess about her and Drew. Gotta have them near-misses. lol. Yeah, I wasn't feeling Carly and Brennan today, but good to see them out and about. And I like the idea of Lucas going on a date. That, and the mention of Brennan's henchwoman being a foil to Carly/Brennan, are plot points that I hope they show on screen. hehe. Danny just cannot help but hero-worship his dad. Which is probably going to come in handy since that coda. lol. I guess Liz might become a hostage soon enough. Hehe. Same.

B&B: February 2025 Discussion Thread
2-7 Well, it does seem like B&B has hit one of its flows again. Like it or hate it...there are some stories going on rather than one. Like Finn, I am still trying to wrap my head around the fact that he is Luna's father. And those scenes of him being angry at Poppy weren't good, but darn it if TN don't try. And I do like the wrinkles it seems to have. Poppy is at last getting along with Li and that will get wrecked. Bill has Luna on house arrest and people are just now noticing she's not in the prison. And it's clear she might be a danger to Will at some point, too. And good coda with Finn and Steffy. Finn never seems to be one to keep secrets when it comes to Steffy so will he REALLY tell her? Then there's Operation Carter. Yeeeah, it's been a bit slow. And yes, Daphne Rose is campy. But it IS something. I was very happy to see Brooke these last few episodes because it felt like she upped and vanished. However, it seems like she lost her backbone with Ridge which I so was like smh. Decent.

2-11 Not Danny confronting Cyrus in front of a third of the town!!! But...in character. I even thought the actor did a decent job. It felt like he was given notes and tried to get his emotions across and yet be restrained about it. Meanwhile, look at them changing it up on Gio's wardrobe. I felt like he's been in that hoodie for a good minute. Hello, buttoned-down shirt. You can add me to the group who like Emma/Gio/Trina/Kai as a little group. Le sigh. As much as I want Jason to be doing SOMETHING, this babydaddy story ain't it for me. I know the drama of it has been laid out on this thread, but I don't see the stakes to it outside of Michael coming back. Without him there, it's just a lead balloon. Drama for drama sake because the writers can't figure out what to do with the group of characters. That said...something could be said for how crazy Cody is coming across to Jason. Not so much Drew. SHUT UP, KRISTINA. Pretty meh outside of the coda at the end. Hahaha. Great minds. Cuz without Michael around...what is the point? The stakes? Very.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
That's true. The Roommate did have more of a friendship with the girls than Gizelle. Outside of that, Roommate gave her thing with Juan. And that's it. Meanwhile...here's Gizelle with the will. I wouldn't say no follow-up because Gizelle was consistent with GnA and dealing with her feelings over her father. And playing up STILL means giving something. And she...well...did. Now you might not like her ki-kiing with La Dame, but she still was DOING something. And yes, my Messy Mia has been lying from go, but it took this year for Gizelle to have an issue with it and started playing chess to Mia's checkers. Again...still giving. And while the kids are leaving, I would still expect them to film because they are the best thing to happen to her. That said...them leaving adds to a new direction for Gizelle...which she actually showed her feelings about them leaving and started doing things like focusing on her business, getting into the dating scene (even if it's a prologue to her forthcoming dating show...not the first time a HW has used a season to set up a spinoff mind you...again doing), and getting moving on staying relevant by alliances with housewives rather than sit back with a sour look on her face. So again...doing. Definitely more than Robyn.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Well, she'll be at the reunion so Lol. Nope. Robyn would just give befuddlement over the fact they all knew her man was cheating on her. Maybe a business idea. Gizelle has given...at least this season...the story of her father and the will, the story of her becoming single and actually acting on exploring what that means, the story of her growing friendship of Wendy, her alliance with La Dame against Mia, and a business idea. Of course. lol. She has been moving carefully this season for sure, but she has actually been giving after seasons of being a bump on a log. And lest I forget, the rest of her children leaving. And my loathing of Gizelle speaks for itself since the days of Monique. But I'll give her her credit. For this season at least.

2-10 A chore. Which I knew it was going to be, but I had hoped. Nope. lol. It was mostly plot points with (barely) nothing to grab onto. Someone really needs to stop writing in factory settings when he's in charge of the writing. Thankfully, there were at least good moments to get me through it. I've never been so happy to see Stone Cold. I didn't like how abrupt he was written out of the story. And I still strongly feel he was written out because SB really does not want to play a 'Jason is Sasha's babydaddy' storyline given he's logically done this two times before. So Frank the writers had to find a way to still do their story without Jason coming off a way that will offend. At least I continue to love that we are getting Tracy/Jason scenes. And I loved the close-up of Tracy after Jason left, showing genuine concern for him. I loved everything Liz/Ric/Ava. Ric flashing that smile at Liz after bringing her flowers. The two of them in the park talking. The slapstick AGAIN (and in a GOOD way) of them running into yet another dramatic situation. Just like their last walk. lol. And then Ava and Ric and their kiss. Just good. Oh, lord. SHUT UP, KRISTINA. She came across crazy while Ava only came across desperate. But I don't mind seeing where that will go since it seems the Joss/Kristina rivalry is over again. Cyrus's storyline was C plot, but I take it, it is about to FINALLY kick up a notch given how last week ended. So having it in the background was a good choice. Him spying on Liz. And then him running into Joss. And now Brennan's henchwoman gave her that location. Another piece of the puzzle... I agree with Tracy. When Carly decides she wants to Carly...WATCH OUT!!! I liked Trina's hair and seeing her and Ava have scenes. Though I still can't believe how they want Ava to just sit there and stay poor. Just so out of character. I was not feeling her and Kai this episode. Hypothetic. The best soap events have multiple and 4 is a great number.

Thank you. All her attempts to be Regina George, and yet all Lisa did was show how unsentimental she is. I agree. Especially about Gizelle. She had a great season from where I'm at in my watching. Same.

2-7 The best soap rivals usually have that one (or several) team-up against a common enemy. So it was long overdue for Carly and Nina to do the same. Their rivalry has mostly been background since Sonny and Nina broke up so I was happy to see them coming together to go against Drew. Uh oh. But still nice to see the Cyrus storyline finally start to move again. I was hoping for the Liz bait. Now it just feels like Liz has a target on her back. On a trivial note, which of her men will save her? And that Lulu/Cyrus scene was chilling. Yeeeeah he does sound like he killed Sam to get Lulu to wake up for sure. Drew suuuuuure is making the rounds of hanging with all the villains on canvas. LOL!!! Congressmen has definitely fallen to the dark side. So Sidwell had NATALIA followed, NOT Sonny. The question is...why?

I was happy to see Sharon back to normal if they are treating her like a busybody. I even liked that AL was being delicious ambiguous in that last scene with Summer, Claire, and Victor. But so terrible soap. Moreso because like you said...flaws and all the Newman story we just got was built nicely with cliffhangers that continued. Same for the Ashley story. So...why?
