  1. Ooooooo that was a soap reveal!!! And we even got a brief Kat vs Eva fight. OOoooo cliffhanger!!! Oh, yeah, I remember they had a cover story, but I find it interesting that it was just mentioned again today. I wonder could it be foreshadowing another twist coming up.
  2. I agree. This last year for her has been horrible and the sad thing was the potential was there. She will be missed. I liked Hunter King, too. But if Summer does come back, I would rather AL come back someday.
  3. Kat is so shady. Oh, Eva's out!!
  4. Dani...and Eva??? And now Ted and Nicole are setting her up for success. These scenes are sooooo giving old school soap when the schemer is being set up for a fall...loving it. YASSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!! He showed up with his FOINE self!! Oh my Goodness! Kat is really on it today. Wait! Eva is the daughter of one of Leslie's friends who passed away. OH, REALLY? So that cover story might not be just a cover story then... These Eva vs Silk Press Sheila scenes!!! Awww...I guess no Vanessa, but at least she was mentioned.
  5. Amen. I cannot wait.
  6. And they gave him a whole commercial and everything! Happy to see that star keeps growing.
  7. But the REAL question... ...May Sweeps...OR SLEEPS...???
  8. I've never been so annoyed to be running late. lol EVERYONE looks so pretty. Happy to see Andre and Eva interacting, Mona being there, and happy to see Nicole play matchmaker for Dani. Fingers crossed that FOINE doctor from Nicole's last event pops up. @kalbir Andre looking like a snack in that tux. Lmao!!!!
  9. Oh, yeah. I live in a city where I know soccer is major enough that people here will be lining the bars to watch it in the middle of the day. Heck, our baseball team is in town and people will be commuting over to the stadium TWO TO THREE hours ahead of the start time to watch. Sports fans (like soap fans) do not play.
  10. I can already see you taking in all the architecture porn and I cannot wait. I know I'm going to be feasting at Lisa's walking in the fashion show. Adriana was there in the background...something I'm not used to from her, but I'm sure that is just Production hiding her incoming drama cuz we all know Adriana is always in the mess. And LOVE that we are getting a Nicole cameo (or two?) where she is passing on the torch. Yessss!!!! Exactly!!! All the drama I saw was organic and even better...builds up/naturally progressed from what was happening last season. Marysol/Alexia being a major cast in point. That's my birthday week, too. A perfect present.
  11. I feel both of you two. I sing that song about fool often...and this week included some neighbor drama involving that very sense of entitlement at the expanse of common sense. Awww sorry to hear that, but understand about that 'bag.'
  12. YASSSSSSSSSSSS!!! @Cat we getting FOUR trips AND a Dr. Nicole cameo. Loved it. And they look like they have several storylines that I'll be looking forward to. Continuing on from the reunion cliffhanger was a great touch as well.
  13. Hmmm. Perhaps. I feel Karla was great at the start...and still like her...but Dani currently does not have half of the interesting nuances she had when the show started. But tbf, Karla has not been given the opportunity to bring it like that again to date. Though I'm sure it's coming.
  14. In my Nicole Walker voice... ...WHHHHHHHHHHHHHHATTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!! I didn't even cotton to Summer being recast, but Allison Lanier won me over. Great actress and I loved her energy in scenes where she felt like she told a story throughout an episode in her scenes and took her character through an emotional arc. Even when the writing turned against her, Allison found a way to show strength. She did...for a while...have the ability to turn lemons into lemonade for me. And it goes without saying that I loved her Summer with Chance. And one of the few actresses in the Y&R opening that gave fierce with that mane of hair of hers. So irked. THIS. Because once AL and ZS got comfortable in their roles, when they had scenes together, they were fire.
  15. But what could happen. lol.
  16. I would like that. It keeps them all in the same orbit without running to the well of the triangle too soon. Heck, it could be a nice slow burn, allowing for what you said about humanity, too. And lead to Dani's drunk car crash if played right. Perhaps the writers think it's too soon to try something like that, though.
  17. I mean...if that's the case...can we get a (good) remodel of the Chancellor estate next?
  18. I don't think she's out of place. However, one of the main storylines that appears to be going to be around for a while is Dani/Bill/Hayley. And that cannot be sustained with them all constantly in each other's orbit in a wash, rinse, repeat pattern...which sadly they really have done with Dani too much by the end of Month 1. They are doing the right thing by keeping them LOOSELY in each other's orbit, but that is a well they can't even mine too much right now. The best the writers can do is to develop all three characters separately so that when they go to the well of the triangle again...which it is a soap and KM and TG have that IT chemistry so I am sure they will...the audience can be split. The best way to develop them separately is with their own stories going on. It's a given that Dani has the best option for that with her thing with Andre, deciding on a business, and her growing drinking problem. Bill was coming in second with the lawsuit, but he also has to be that villain guy who knows where all the bodies are buried, and now he has a tremor in his hand that only Naomi knows about. The weak link has been Hayley who has had too brief or comedic struggles with trying to establish herself as the new Ms. Bill Hamilton. They could lean into that with her and continue the friendship with Derek...or even Eva once her part in the Silk Press Sheila storyline comes out. But keep them growing until an event (say Drunk Dani car crash) can draw all three back together and see how the triangle appears with all three characters with some story mileage under them. I don't find her out of place for now, but they cannot maneuvered her around as easily as they would like because the main story for her is right there out in the open and already overused. Which is odd because typing that sentence Dani is kinda having the same problem as Ashley...and they are both characters who easily have connections to other characters so they could easily be spun out of the corners they appear to be stuck in.
  19. None really. NOW for stories with the possibilities of having a turn in it. I would say the stuff with Vanessa/Joey/Diego...not so much Doug cuz the part of his story of him fighting his addiction could cook just a week or two longer...but something could come out with Vanessa at the anniversary party which as Nicole's BFF, she should be there. And then something happens that causes a delay. lol. I know you don't mind that person on that show at all. See? Another turn that could easily happen at the anniversary party, too.
  20. 4-25 Yeah, I could almost throw the whole week away. Almost. After setting up the story of Diane redesigning the Abott mansion, I was at least invested in that. And being unspoiled for how it would look. I...liked it. AND we got a flashback between Jack and John, too? I am looking forward to Traci and Ashley's reactions. And just like the returned Newman Ranch, it has a little more space. I don't know how long those chairs in the foreground will be there though. It was a nice 'facelift.' Audra slowly putting the moves on Kyle. I was surprised she still got it. Well with him that is. Chemistry. But like I said already...a scheming Audra is a dangerous one. That's all I had about this week. Compared to B&B (and BTG), suddenly, Y&R is just...boring.
  21. I've said the same. So good to see that Martin's secret is coming off the backburner just as the Nicole/Ted/Silk Press storyline is heading toward climax. I've even wondered today if Martin vs Ted that is in the promo might be a trigger to get him to have total recall for the audience. Fingers crossed. And yes, I definitely like they are starting in on a story for Anita at last. Still hoping that will be the next event aka the police fundraiser.
  22. 4-25 I liked it. Compared to Y&R, at least there were stories going on. I could care less about the Liam Is Dying storyline though I liked there was progresson, and that Steffy finally got through to Liam. And then the fashion show (wow Heidi actually got a line or two!) was a nice bounce back. I had wondered ever since it was announced and since BTG did one, if B&B would be able to keep up. And...I would say YES. Extras. Stuff going on. Cameos. Didn't look cheap like the one that Esther from Y&R was here for...though I liked that one. I heard people hating the fashion show and Brooke being the showstopper. I thought it was cute. What I don't like is how Eric is trying to play matchmaker for Brooke and Ridge. And it just gives us silly fights between Brooke and Taylee...and even when it IS a good fight...aren't we tired of this? I would rather Ridge and Taylee have their own drama...where is Morgan?...and Brooke is spun off into her own storyline...or messing with someone else. Wasn't she about to be on Daphne's neck for working to come between Hope and Carter? For example. So basically I thought it was a good week.
