Well given the last new episode had Smitty trying to make time for some bed time, I feel like they will get around to Smitty and Martin soon enough. Unless his secret pops out first that is. It does seem that now that Tricia is on the rise...anything she's been in...is being actively promoted.

I agree with that as well. And have said as much as well. Say what you want, Maurice had presence and a clear personal style that mended well with the audience. And when he was in scenes with SilkPress, there was a menace and darker side to him that was not apparent otherwise. For that reason alone, I just don't see him ever getting back with SilkPress unless it's hate sex...and MJ and TM DID have chemistry. I can completely see the True Crime comparison. Keith's Ted hasn't shown any of that. Yet. And while he might have more nuances to play with...and I still see Ted when I see him...it is different from Maurice...and sadly taken the edge that I felt Ted had and needs. Which of course makes me wonder if his Ted is being set up for an actual triangle between him, Nicole, and SilkPress with more legs. And that is just off of how Keith is playing Ted...which feels more 'romantic male lead who messed up' vs Maurice's 'male lead with a dark side/edge.' And I mean triangle with mixed feelings, not just hate sex. I would fall all the way out. Wait until you see the new promo when someone posts it. And I think I saw her on a promo for THE CHI this past week as well, but I might have been wrong on that.

I'm rewatching the week right now. And I can say I'm finding the Ashley/Derek drama much more entertaining the second time around. Not that I disliked it the first time around. Even as the C plot it is, I feel it had a nice build. If anything, they really should use Jan/Andre/Naomi more to get her POV and Jacob/Hayley for Derek's POV. There have been moments when JJ has not done a good job in my eye, but most of the time, I like her acting. And physically she reminds me of someone I know. Even body language. So watching her scenes with Andre just now...she really comes across as the girl that is just used to her and her mother so she's very to one way of doing things and never had to compromise. And now watching the Insta in full...yep...that's how she played it for me. Watching Derek's scene with Jan again, Ben actually briefly came across as acting himself. Yes, I said it. lol. And I cannot talk about him without mentioning them blue jeans. lol. While I understand where Ashley is coming from and like how it's been written for the most part...Team Derek. It's been a great May Sweeps so if you don't want to go all the way back, I would say start from the last week and a half of April. Month 2 was good IMHO, but it was mostly character development with only one clear (and well-paced) A story. So depending on which plots you like, would determined if you thought it would be a good month.

5-19 A mixed bag. On one hand, it's a pretty good episode. Amanda's return is having immediate impact. And I'm here for everyone in Damian's orbit. On the other hand, it still had an air of stalling out this Dumas storyline which has immediately gotten annoying. Okay been annoying. Side-note...Sally is just wasting away being with Billy. The Bad for Me: We get more attention on Summer now that she's not on the canvas than we did when she was still on the canvas. It just seems like JG is butthurt that AL left. No one to blame, but himself. I know we are not going to have Amanda against Billy/Sally. A waste of an actress. Speaking of Amanda, I don't think I will ever get used to the Giggly Heffa/Amanda friendship. Why mention Jill and that she's retired...which sounds like we are NEVER getting Jess Walton back btw...and have Amanda tell Billy to make amends with her...if she's not coming back? What was Good for Me: Just Amanda's presence. Her meeting with Devon, Billy, and Nate. Her meeting with Giggly Heffa. Her meeting with Billy and Sally. And just the air of mystery that MM is giving to Amanda. That intrigues. And to be clear...is the dialogue saying that she knows who Dumas is because she has seen him face-to-face or do they video-talk or move through his assistant? I was unclear. But it would be VERY interesting if she has seen his face and know who it really is. Awwww at Amy and Damian reaching a point where they are completely getting along. But I liked the scenes with them and Nate, Devon, and Lily. And Damian and Lily...I like of course.

I hope so as well. When I move other to catch-up on B&B, I'll pay more attention again. I really just assumed it was the same promo until I saw what Bill did. I was like whoooooa wait a minute! BILL!!! People on the board are going to LOVE that scene.

As an 80s child, I completely understand. I didn't get their hatred either. And I was living for Jessel's clothes changes. THAT'S how you do a party and be an awesome host. She was giving. I am hoping my friend post pictures from the party later on. I wished I could have gone rather than deal with rude holiday guests. So many people (and Cat) know how much I loooooove CLUELESS when I first saw it. FACTS. There's quite a few that if I see them on tv, I will watch. And the genre does not matter. Anything from that time period just hits just right. I am getting to the point I might have to do a rewatch because I can't do verbatim like I used to. It only took a decade. Same. Erin can do good parties, but Jessel completely showed them how it's REALLY done. They can stay pressed.

I'm playing catch-up on Y&R just now and there was a newer tv spot that slightly different from the next week promo...the main differences... A new SilkPress/Ted scene that Kat walks in on. And extended version of Bill vs Martin and what happens at the end of it...a different side of Bill than what we have gotten so far...VERY excited.

I don't think she has at all. Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't she say her mother passed? Don't get me started. Damian should have been kept as head of Dumas and we question his motives. The story up til the Dumas plot twist was great, refreshing, and had twists and turns that the Dumas twist was just unnecessary and seem to be made so the story could be hijacked by everyone NOT Devon/Nate/Lily so they have something to do. Even now, that part of the story...and their involvement in it...feels like an afterthought. Yep. Pretty much.

IKR!!! That's how I feel about his writing as well. There's such a realness to his writing that I really do like. Same. And I cannot wait to see who plays her.

Like Ms. B!tch to you. lol. I love his writing. One thing that we can say for sure...all the soaps (except Y&R and B&B I am afraid and I'm sure someone watching DAYS can correct me since I'm in catch-up mode) are giving Friday cliffhangers this May Sweeps it seems and loving it. As he should. Given the progress they have done with the Martin's secret storyline, I know they are not going to end May Sweeps without giving some good tea/shocking info/reveal in that storyline to take our next A story into summer. Especially since the SilkPress storyline is shifting into a new turn.

So...the REAL Anita comes out...AND the cliffhanger??? YES, PLEASE. And next week looks like FIRE!

Smitty vs Martin now. Lord... Well given the various discussions about Anita...this part of her vs Tracy looks like it's touching on Anita as a person now! Not Silk Press Sheila in a Nicole wig!!!!!! Living up to her nickname sake with the light Lauren hatred. And now Vanessa laying into NuTed while Nosy Nurse is around...lol.
