  1. This level of pure greed disgusts me.
  2. ^ How embarrassing. Did he really think people wouldn't find out? I kind of knew because of Carl, but VJ always seemed so sincere I guess I fell for his act. Plus I'm just not up on most of these pundits since I dumped cable. I know I could watch clips, just like I could watch soaps online, but I just rarely do. It still amazes me how the second I dropped cable I lost the soap habit after 35+ years of being a loyal viewer.
  3. ^ Unreal and so unethical. I haven't watched CNN in a dogs age, but I used to think Van Jones was a decent guy who made some mistakes. I truly do not understand why anyone would get involved with Trump for any reason at this point. The man is poison. He should be shunned and tossed into the dustbin of history ASAP.
  4. 😂 And of course, don't think you will be allowed to vote by mail because that's obviously fraud.
  5. Here's Florida with another day of nearly 10,000 new cases. I'm starting to prepare for the inevitable lock down that's coming later in the year. https://www.cnn.com/2020/06/27/health/us-coronavirus-saturday/index.html
  6. Please dear God protect and keep RBG. That's my nightly thought.
  7. It's insane. Things are completely out of control. Florida's governor is right up there with 45 in terms of intelligence.
  8. ^ Talk about word salad. The man is just incapable of putting a thought together. The most impressive part of that was when he actually acknowledged that you don't have to go around killing everyone.
  9. This ad gave me chills. It's obvious from the start where they are going with it but it still packs a punch.
  10. The only reason I'm worried is I think he can and will cheat. As we all know, he didn't even get the majority of people last time. He won't win this time if we have a relatively free and fair election. The only question in my mind is can he and his cronies cheat enough to win this time. We'll see soon enough. 😒
  11. Me too. I hate all of this video conferencing, although for a different reason. I just don't want to deal with any of it. Just let me isolate in peace for heaven's sake. But no. Every kindergarten teacher, rabbi, doctor and her sister wants to video conference with me. I almost (but not quite) wish it were 1990 again.
  12. Seriously. Every time I see a worker in a situation like this it pisses me off. It brings me back to my customer service days and I swear people have not changed a bit over the last 25 years. Still entitled as f*ck and taking their anger out on the people there to serve their ungrateful asses! Then I saw a story earlier about people spitting on Asian American nurses. Hell, no! I'd love to smack every one of them personally. Then they need to spend some time out in the heat picking up trash for 500 hours of community service.
  13. Speaking of voter suppression.
  14. I can usually muster up sympathy for almost anyone, but these folks along with the Trumpers at the hate rally just aren't worth it. They've chosen to be downright evil, so let the chips fall where they may.
  15. This ad appeals to me. Not sure if it is effective, but the Lincoln Project has been doing some hard hitting ads, so maybe we have the best of both worlds going. And no, I don't really give TLP a ton of credit for what they are doing, but I'll take it.
  16. This is interesting. I guess the cynic in me would say Klobuchar already knew she wouldn't be he pick, but I agree with her he should pick a woman of color. So many people are fed up with Trump this is a real opportunity. Hoping for Kamala. Not sure why her campaign fell apart, but she has the air of competence we so desperately need in our leaders. https://www.cnn.com/2020/06/18/politics/biden-vice-president-amy-klobuchar/index.html
  17. Unbelievable! I saw someone saying they thought it was more likely due to the effect masks would have on concession sales. In any case completely shameful.
  18. Trump has been more successful at using shock and awe on the American people than Bush ever was in Iraq. There are so many f*cked up things going on it's hard to focus on all of it. Of course, some people simply don't care about anything that doesn't hurt them directly.
  19. ^ How many of us are surprised by this news? Disgusted and horrified, yes. Surprised? Not in the least. What an absolute shame on our nation that man is.
  20. ^ Of course there isn't a second wave. We still have 700 people a day dying from the first wave we are still in! I certainly expect a second wave though. Pence is just willfully ignorant.
  21. It's ridiculous! I would continue wearing a mask just to reduce the risks of regular cold and flu season. It's foolish that we didn't adopt this practice sooner.
  22. This is nuts. https://twitter.com/DrDenaGrayson/status/1272495494221172738?s=20
