Here are some more spoilers for next week from the Zap2it website.

Trouble will loom for Abby/Chelsea as the Grand Phoenix opens, Devon's world will spin out of control and Elena will end up making a shocking confession. Victor will deliver unsettling news and Devon will confide in Mariah.

I wonder what exactly happens to Devon and what shocking confession that Elena makes. I wonder if maybe she is pregnant.

Elena probably is pregnant. I can't imagine anything else. Lacking in drama once again.  If they are going to have her pregnant at least make it a WTD with Nate.

It really doesn't seem like they have any plans for his character anytime soon. There was a spoiler that was supposed to happen a couple of week ago that said that Traci would question her feelings for Cane during that week. But that never played out. And I don't think he will be involved in the new storyline that is coming for Traci. I wonder what the show may do with him.

I was thinking a pairing with Abby.

Regarding yesterday's episode, I disliked when Lola said "Why can't everyone be happy like us" to Kyle, after Rey left the apartment. (Still unhappy about his breakup with Sharon). IMO, Lola is so naive, obnoxious and just all around unlikable. I wish they would stop forcing this character and her relationship with Kyle down the viewers throats. Yet another thing broke in their apartment the other day and now Lola wants to finally move because she thinks the apartment reminds Rey of Sharon. It's always Lola's way or the highway. She forced Kyle to move into that apartment when he wanted to live in the mansion/have a better place than it. And now she wants to move because of how she thinks it makes her brother feel. She is very self-absorbed.

Also, I did like the scenes with Devon telling Elena about Katherine. I am interested in learning who is contesting the will. I also wonder what Jack discovers on his soul searching trip and how long Kyle may be interim CEO of Jabot.

It's clearly chance and Adam scheming together.

I didn't say very popular lol, they have a dedicated fanbase, they along with Elena and Devon are the tops winning all the online polls  Ones a cop, ones married to a core character, neither are hogging eppy counts, I don't see them going anywhere!

    https://twitter.com/Team_Shey

Devon and Elena aren't that popular either. Lord knows I wish they were for Bryton's sake but I just don't see it for them. They've got a few organized stans and most folks aren't bothered by them but they are nowhere near having the buzz that Hevon had.

The show won't keep Kyle in that pairing with Lola. They see him as the younger generation lead. TPTB will eventually look for bigger for him. I wish they had kept Loren Lott and given her an opportunity alongside Mealer.

I don't think that Lola is very popular on social media. She/K o l a get a lot of hate whenever the CBS accounts post something about him. I was looking at an instagram post about them recently. that had several hundred posts and most of them were overwhelming negative. There were a lot of people even attacking Sasha Calle personally. A lot of people do not like Lola/K o l a and they had the lowest ranked wedding. That episode was the last in total viewers for the week. Summer/Kyle's wedding, Rey and Mia's vow renewal from earlier in the year had better ratings than  K o l a's wedding. Even Billy/Victoria's commitment  ceremony in June performed better than K o l a's wedding. Billy and Victoria unlike K o la managed to hit a 3.0 for their ceremony episode and was the highest ranked episode of that week.

K o l a is not very popular on Social Media and they are heavily disliked on several different soap sites. I frequent/post/lurk on several soap sites. Kyle and Lola are heavily disliked on Twitter, Instagram, Soapcentral, soaps.com, (Soaps.com had a support group type of thread where people gathered to talk about personal things while they refused to watch the wedding. And there were several people participating in that thread) Daytime  Royalty and this site. And I think I may be forgetting one, lol.

Rey has some fans and some people like him with Sharon.  But a lot of people don't like him either.  Y&R may have had issues before the Rosales showed up, but I think  the heavy focus on them has been to the detriment of this show.

No, neither Lola nor Rey's pairings are that popular. Though I do believe that Lola's is better recieved than Shey. Shey was just Sharon fans doing what they do and latching onto anyone that's nice to her. I know this place wasn't fond of Billy and Vikki but I tend to use them as bench marks for popularity because fans went crazy over them. Lola's pairing with Kyle doesn't come close. They were better recieved when Summer was involved.

the family the familial cannibalizing in the stories is such a turn off, and they are doing what a lot of soaps have been doing in that they don't have people go to work regularly so we can see day-to-day stuffs and how peeps deal with doing their jobs on top of drama, etc. It's just drama 24/7, and they fight over these companies and it's like... none of y'all even go to work regularly, so what's good? Like, why haven't the Foresters put on a fashion show in forever or talked about business? It's just baby drama 24/7... zZZZ

I recall when Y&R made this turn. It started feeling like OLTL with folks just going around town bouncing off each other. They don't even have a reason to interact most of the time. So it's just "oops, I bumped into Sharon at the coffee house. How fortuitous. I guess I'll flirt".

More like JG lol it feels to me that tony just lets him do as he pleases anyway without some naggy exec i think it will be interesting

JG wasn't this bad on his last run. He told actually stories. When I did watch, I didn't know what the story was half the time. It just seems like a bunch of events happening just so characters can argue and fight.

I haven't been around the boards much and it's a little late, but they turned Fen into a coke head and we are robbed of seeing it? [!@#$%^&*] this show. LOL

It's an Adam story. Yet, another one.

Here is the preview for some scenes from next week that someone posted on Twitter:

It looks like maybe someone drugged people at the party or spiked some drinks. Many of them are acting weird, including Summer who kisses Kyle. Her, Mariah, Tessa and Sharon are all acting strange and look like they are under the influence of something.  Victor looks sickly because Adam sneaks the bottle of pills he got in Victor's pocket and Victor took one of them.

Also according to the recap tomorrow from soaps.com Devon will talk with Nick and Jill. He will them about someone contesting the will and they will wonder if it's Chance. Jill will reveal to them that Chance sent her a cryptic email saying he was working on something lucrative. She will hope that he isn't into anything sleazy. Devon will tell her that whoever is contesting, will get a fight from him. He will also look up an attorney named Amanda Sinclair who is involved with the case. He wonder who she's working for.  (Some people are speculating that maybe this character Amanda Sinclair could be Hilary's Doppelganger.

Contesting the will is yet another Adam story it seems. Why else is Devon telling nick any of this?

it's not hate, per se.But the way story is constantly revolving around him and his stupid angst is like... get over it already! He still hasn't paid for killing Ashley+Vic's baby and having her run around with a dead baby in her stomach for weeks. They are constantly trying to push this "sympathy for the devil" narrative and it's like zZZZZ at this point.

I never liked the idea of turning a legacy character into the shows main antagonist for story after story. It changed the way stories on Y&R were created. Newman versus Newman never left much story or airtime for anyone else.

I don't expect Jason Thompson to last very long. I got the impression than Angelica was his champion

I actually see "The Talk" going before either "B&B" or "Y&R," honestly since that show was McDaniel's baby, ratings are WAY down and its creator, Sara Gilbert, is no longer at the helm on the day-to-day.

I am sad that CBS Daytime as a division is no more, but in today's television climate it makes sense. If the CBS Daytime branding goes, which I don't expect it to, it won't be too much of a bad thing considering where we are in the entertainment world compared to 15 years ago (or whenever it was) when NBC got rid of NBC Daytime and five years ago when ABC got rid of ABC Daytime.

    Just my 2 cents...

    +1

It's the end of an era. And for that, it's bitter. But programming and viewing habits are so different now. I mean, my favorite show, Star Trek: Discovery, was never, nor was it designed to be, regular programming on the small screen. 10 years ago, I wouldn't have ever thought that possible.

lmao, the show was in the pooper looooooooooooooooooong before the Rosales came on the scene. One name: Adam Newman. But tbh, it started on a downward spiral when they killed John Abbott, just to have some stupid ghost dad story...

i'm still baffle they haven't REALLY attempted to recast Mackenzie. I always thought they should have left Phyllis in a coma, and cast GT as Mac. The way the Chancellor legacy on the show basically consists of their maid and her kin... a damn mess.

Replacing Winters with Rosales seemed to bother folks more than any Adam or Phyllis focus ever did. The show was dying, but it wasn't dead. It just feels dead to me. Probably because I took that move personally.

Their characters are kind of all over the place and IMO need something to ground them. Adam could use a love interest to soften him and show another side of him. Right now it's basically him vs. everybody and that type of thing can wear thin and become one dimensional.

Phyllis needs something more interesting to do besides fight over a hotel. I think she could also benefit from having a love interest. I don't know that they would do it but I think that a Phyllis/Jack/Celeste triangle could work.

I have no desire to see Jack fog Phyllis I'm favor of Celeste the way Kyle does summer for Lola. I hope that triangle doesn't happen

She's getting decent air time. Not as much as Adam, Nick and Chelsea, but since she's been back I would say it's been adequate. But there doesn't seem to be much direction regarding her character. She's schemed with Adam, then schemed against him to help Nick get Dark Horse back. And now she's teaming up with him again after Abby/Chelsea cut her out of the Grand Phoenix hotel deal. She's interacted some with Summer and Theo, who she hired to help bring celebrities/influencers to the opening. But on today's episode he will be working for Abby/Chelsea.

She doesn't seem interested in a romance. She wanted Nick to forgive her for her role in telling on the women in the JT storyline. He grudgingly said it was a start but they haven't interacted much. She's interacted a little with Jack here and there. He told her she needed to try and do better with Summer. She's interacted a little with Billy. Theo was complimenting her, acting flirty towards her, (though he flirts with multiple people lol.) And some people were wondering if they going to have her mess around with him. But I don't think that anything will come of that. And she's made peace with Summer and they have gotten closer. She also interacted with Celeste who thanked her for Summer saving Lola's life.

She was running around asking people to help her scrounge up enough money for Grand Phoenix hotel. Including Devon, Nikki, I believe Nick as well. And she was turned down by all of them. Abby agreed to help her, if she invested some of her own money (20%). Phyllis went to Chelsea for help, who turned around and teamed up with Abby, cutting Phyllis out of the deal.

The people she's interacted the most with has been Adam and Summer.  Her fans are complaining about her not really doing much outside of scheming with Adam, the stuff involving the hotel and some scenes with Summer. A lot of them wonder when she may get a love interest.

Phyllis doesn't need a love interest. Neither does Adam. They have enough happening, it seems, without one

Yeah, that is what it looks like. I guess they dropped whatever plans they were going to do with Sharon and Adam. Barely anyone reacted to her sleeping with him. And she hasn't mentioned the proposal to hardly anyone outside of Mariah.

I think he needs a love interest. Even though he's on a lot, I think his potential storyline is being limited because he's not in a real relationship with anybody. He just likes to interact with both Sharon/Chelsea while neither woman chooses to be with him. And they have Chelsea choosing Nick. I'm not sure who he may be paired with. Maybe they will eventually reunite him and Chelsea. I have liked their family scenes with Connor. I don't think he has much romantic chemistry with Phyllis. They might need to try and pair him with a younger woman, not sure who that will be. And He's related to Abby/Summer, which eliminates them.

I don't know what's going on with Phyllis. Her storyline doesn't have much of a direction to it. It doesn't look like she's headed for romance any time soon. Nor does she seem interested in being in a pairing with anyone. And she was running around asking for money. The Fall preview spoilers say she will get the last laugh with Chelsea/Abby regarding the hotel. So maybe she ends up getting control of the hotel, but that still isn't giving her a lot to do storyline wise.

I haven't been watching. What's her airtime like?

  14. The show wants Adam in some Bonnie and Clyde pairing. It's unfortunate being I've always seen him as someone who takes advantage of vulnerable women to use as pawns in his schemes.  I don't think it'll be Sharon or Phyllis.

My theory, Adam will be paired with Mishael's character for her entrance story. It's explain why he's suddenly around Devon.

It's so odd to me how they've brought MS back as Phyllis yet don't play any of the relationships her Phyllis had. Her being kept from Jack is Angelica McDaniel IMO. He's being saved for Celeste. But has she even been interacting with Micheal and Lauren. The show would usually trot them out to listen to her problems if nothing else. Why is she rivaling Abby? It seems off. Honestly, I think she's a stand in. Cause it just doesn't make sense.
