Avery and Donna are the same child to me. Which is 2 too many Sonny kids. Like I said, if I liked kids I would adopt the little girl that plays Donna because she's so adorable. But in GH terms she's useless.

Adorable little girl, but she doesn't need to exist at all. I don't think ANYONE was asking for another Carly/Sonny kid.

Donna is probably my favorite, cutest little actress on the entire show. But she doesn't need to exist at all and giving Sonny/Carly a throw away child at 50 was stupid. It would have made more sense to bring Morgan back and you all know I have 0 love for Brian Craig.

I don't get the entire lack of drama in the plot. Sonny should have had some sort of major heart attack that necessitated a need for a new heart or he'd die. It's a very fixable problem that's entirely in his control. Currently, it's like one of those ads for your heart health or a new medicine you see during the commercial break instead of a story with any weight.

Well, at that point I would hope Brenda just gives up and finds some hot guy to have sex with, but then 50 plus Brenda would probably just end up pregnant. And Jason would say he's the father. lol

If Sonny was impotent it would probably be worse than death for him lol. Could you even imagine Mo playing that?😂 I actually wondered IF I missed a throwaway line about TJ leaving. I actually thought Sonny/Nina ended abruptly too. I think it was during PM's short stint where the show seem to be angling towards Nina/Drew/Willow and possibly Sonny/Ava/insanity. Unless, the show is serious about the Natalia nonsense I don't think pivoting back to Nina/Sonny is a bad idea. I do think Sonny seemed pretty disinterested in Nina today while Nina seemed more in her feels.

Correct. It's so out of touch. The stakes aren't even as high as dying/pregnant. You either get the surgery or you will croak at anytime Sonny. There's no one else's (hypothetical) life at risk here besides his own. And the whole Sasha mess is almost as bad. All Sasha should have to say is I got pregnant. It was a one night stand. Can you please respect me and my choice to not talk about it? She's an adult in her 30's. Leave her alone.

This Sonny story is such a non-story. Have the surgery or you die. Just figure it out. Why are we talking about it so much? Where is TJ? Is he just gone? Molly and Cody aren't the worst thing I have ever seen, but its unnecessary. At least the dog lives, but that was a really stupid thing for Sasha to do. Instead of creating this chaos why not have Jason cover Sasha/Michael's tracks instead? I am sure Jason can do that after spending 5 min in jail over Cyrus.

Yeah, I was taking Belle, Brady, and of course EJ's Sorasing out of the equation. None of it will make sense. I would agree Kristen was 8-10 years younger than John, but I believe Peter was her older brother. With the very minimal knowledge we have about the Blakes, Rachel was married to their father and both children seemed planned. There's no indication Rachel was a teen mother or anything. I also took into to consideration that Stefano doesn't generally go after much younger women in the way someone like Victor did. So basically considering Eileen is 65, Jason Brooks is 58, and Stacy is 56 nearing 60 seemed fair. If Rachel had the kids between 20-28 ish 80 seems like a pretty generous estimation of her age. And that is my hypothetical math on trying to play the wacky "how old is everyone in Salem" game. 😂

I would think Rachel would be older than Maggie. Even Julie's age is a stretch. She was introduced as someone who knew John as a young priest implying she was quite a bit older than both John and Marlena. I don't think Stefano was necessarily younger than Rachel. That whole backstory is a moot point now because it was of course changed, but I would guess Rachel to be at least a decade older than John/Marlena putting her roughly at 80-85. I consider Maggie more of a contemporary to John and Marlena. Considering all the work she had done due to her scarring I suppose it's possible Rachel just looks young, but there's no way she's not in her 80's at this point. Both Peter and Kristen should be nearing their 60's by now in real time.

Exactly. That's what makes the age gap weird. Physically SM and SBu don't look that odd together, it's the history that makes it strange. Honestly, the whole story is strange including everyone just taking Cody's word for it and basically the town just demanding Sasha tell them her private business. I don't understand why anyone cares that much about who Sasha's baby daddy is.

Well, the reason I stated was also something she said. I don't really think it makes a lot of sense, but I think Michael's custody issue is the biggest reason at the moment just IMO.

I think Sasha's reasoning is actually to protect Michael from people finding out he cheated on Willow so he doesn't lose his children. At least that's what she said. I don't think she actually cares about the danger or the Q's that much.

I agree. The show literally just could have said Rachel Sr. has been keeping up with Kristen's life from afar. Instead, Rachel knew nothing about Stefano being dead and they implied she wasn't up to date on anything. 🙄 So, Rachel Sr.'s first assumption should have been John was the father of Rachel Jr because her last name was Black and Kristen was obsessed with him last she knew. I also believe Kristen was still actually pregnant when Rachel "died", but obviously that kid would be older. Instead, Rachel Sr. doesn't find it strange at all her daughter had a baby with someone she was a stepmother to and has known since they were a baby. Obviously, that's not odd or dysfunctional at all so they need to kill Ava so Rachel Jr. can have a family. Anyway, it would have just taken a few throw away lines in the show for Kristen to say "it's a long story I'll explain it to you later" or just give her a brief rundown. Are you really even using history if you are basically ignoring everything about the Aremid story to begin with?

I don't dislike Jordan/Isiah-they just aren't really anything lol. It just seems like such an obvious pairing for both characters. They are also used so infrequently and are moving at a glacial pace so I forget about the whole pairing until I see them the next time they are on.

I actually could see Kerr as Keesha, but maybe she looks too young? Idk. Keesha might be a hard sell as a Dr. too, but I am awful at wishful castings lol. I think every now and then you see skill from Mo. He's obviously not at his peak. I just don't think we have ever seen actual acting skills from Tanisha. I don't detest Jordan or anything and I am sure TH is a nice woman. I just don't see the need for the character.

Brook Kerr could have been Keesha or Gia IMO. You could have made Trina her daughter either way (obviously not with Taggert as the potential father in Gia's case lol). It's crazy they didn't make TJ Tommy Hardy as well. I would absolutely rest Donnell Turner until they are ready to pair Curtis with Laura for him 😂. So, by that, I obviously mean permanently.

I don't think writing will help Tanisha Harper much. I think some better direction and an acting coach might. She's very wooden. I do understand your point that there really is no range or purpose for Jordan and I would probably just ditch the character in general. I know FV likes to have a huge cast, but you could rest Jordan for awhile and bring her back when you actually have something for her to do. There has been no reason for her to be wandering around town for all these months having a few scenes here and there with very little importance. I almost want to look up some Oscar/Joss stuff to judge for myself again. The idea of rewatching that though is not appealing at all.

I do remember there was a lot of story around him and most of it was silly. I still don't really understand Oscar's paternity, but I don't think that matters now. I know the show was trying to do some Robin/Stone rip off with Joss/Oscar that just didn't work. I think I was quite in and out of viewing during that period. I don't think I ever realized he was that hated lol. I just didn't enjoy that era of the show at all in general so I suppose Oscar didn't seem that much worse to me than anything else.

I think MB and TH are both bad, but in very different ways. MB still delivers some emotion even if he has issues with his lines and comes off a bit lazy. TH is gorgeous and seems well prepared, but she has the emotional range of Selina Wu at this point. Jordan is just very one note as a character and in the way TH plays her. I know around here (or at least to @Vee) the kid that played Oscar is considered the worst actor ever to appear on GH. Was he really that bad? I honestly barely remember him. I just don't recall thinking he was THAT bad lol.

For me personally I never understood the idea of bringing characters over from cancelled soaps. I know people do enjoy the character living on, but these characters couldn't save their old soaps so why do we think they will help current shows? Especially jumping from NBC to ABC. It's a cheap ploy even if the idea is interesting. We have to pretend all these crazy connections make sense in the same way we are supposed to pretend Michael Easton, Roger Howarth, Sarah Brown, Tamara Braun, etc didn't already play characters on GH.

I totally forgot she and Dano played mother and daughter on AW. I was always under the impression the original Lorna was the more popular one though and RC's stint was mostly a fail. Anyhow, the idea of the synergy and one character moving from soap to soap is intriguing. You just immediately have to re-write so much and ignore the fact many actors played different characters on other ABC soaps. This is probably something all the HW's and producers should have sat down and talked about before proceeding. Every show had a different idea for the characters.

Seriously, the way she'd talk to people about Edward in particular was so awkward. The "Oh, you know how Grandfather is"..... Yes, the audience does but you don't. It may have been RC's way of coping with idiotic writing. She'd do it with love interests too. "Jax/Luke/Alcazar/whoever and I have such a long history-you wouldn't understand" sort of nonsense. Meanwhile, all of those pairings were instantly forgotten. I will never understand why Frons or whoever chose Skye of all characters in the history of ABC daytime to run around from show to show. I don't think RC/Skye was ever popular enough for that much exposure and Skye already had a backstory. I guess I just should be thankful it wasn't Alicia Leigh Willis or Kelly Monaco instead lol!

Both Ali's on Days were great. I am surprised Lisa Linde never found any major work post-Days, but her ex-husband is a huge star lol. I don't know how Skye would fit on the current canvas. I said before there are a lot of women of similar age and with similar characteristics on screen already. I don't think Skye would bring anything particularly interesting to the the table here. Not at the top of my list for returns, but I wouldn't mind a vixen-ish Lila Rae.
