  1. I am really sorry @AbcNbc247 in advance, but I didn't mind Joss today. Yes, she's a hypocrite and yes, she had to have sex with Dex instead of helping Brit (no real loss to me), but...her cheating was pretty low stakes compared to Willow's. Cam deserved better and moved on. It was a teenage romance that fizzled out. It happens. Young people are stupid sometimes. Willow is a fully grown woman that destroyed her marriage to sleep with her husband's uncle with two young children at home. Not to mention everything else Willow has done like lie to Chase, lie about cancer, complain about Nina and her schemes, and is still our heroine. It's Joss's brother that's in critical condition. Did she really expect sympathy from Joss who has a long history of just being smug in general lol?
  2. I think it's Joss's Christening. It definitely was a Christening because I thought about that one when someone brought up the Christmas shooting. That was pretty good. I am going to embarrass myself here, but I liked the James Franco one to Mad World when he falls of the MoMA? balcony. It's hilarious. Obviously, I agree about Guza's reliance on these montages. They were always trying to one up Clink Boom. A lot of them were entertaining though.
  3. The only montages that touch "Clink Boom" are the "Lullaby Massacre" when Laura is singing to baby lulu and shots ring out at the club, Luke's house, and Sonny's apartment. That was obviously before Clink/Boom and the Amazing Grace montage when Brenda returns. You might all be thinking I said that because Brenda is in all three-and that is true. They still are the top 3 IMO. The Metro Court Hostage situation one was pretty cool too.
  4. It's in 2000. Emily/Zander and Alexis are with Sonny. It's on you tube, but the song has been taken out. I can't remember what song it was either.
  5. I'll be honest, I can hardly remember anything BW did as AJ besides the obvious Michael stuff. He romanced Hannah for a bit I think and worked with Skye to cause trouble. The Courtney romance was the most memorable thing he did that didn't involve Michael. To think how much story could have been played out if AJ/Courtney were really given a shot. Instead, we got Sonny being mad at Jason for about 10 mins because he was dating his sister.
  6. Yeah. I think cast changes (outside of SK's firing) affected where the story was supposed to go as well. KMc left, Steve left, Hannah flopped, so the show pivoted to Sonny/Carly. I think the original intention was probably always AJ vs. Jason over Michael, but it ended up being Sonny/Jason/Carly vs. AJ over Michael and there was no chance AJ was winning against that. Anyhow, AJ became the designated loser. I will say that I actually liked AJ/Courtney and thought that story had more potential, but AJ was quickly moved aside for Jason/Courtney.
  7. Exactly. What a waste of a character that could have had years and years of story. I don't blame SK. After enduring insulting fat jokes and being unceremoniously killed off I would stay far away from GH too.
  8. I was going to say it's going into KS territory too. AS seems to be picking things that she is comfortable in, but don't look the best on camera. AL's styling as Brook Lynn was the polar opposite and looked cheap too. There has to be a happy medium between covering it all up like Setton and doing whatever Leon was doing. BLQ doesn't have to wear the wild things Lois sometimes wears, but you think she'd at least take some inspiration from her mom and upbringing and be more adventurous.
  9. I am not aware of Sofia Mattson or Amanda Setton making any announcements about being pregnant so we probably shouldn't speculate. I think the boxy blazers AS wears are just unflattering. She generally looks the same as she has for years to me.
  10. I think had SK been able to stay and clean up his act, AJ would not have been as marginalized as BW's AJ was and would have become the definitive AJ. SK had much better chemistry with SJB, had established relationships with the Q family actors, and had started the Carly/AJ/Michael story. It was jarring when BW took over mid-story and the dynamic between AJ/Carly/Jason became very lopsided very quickly. I am not saying AJ would become the good guy or win over Sonny/Jason, but I think Guza just really disliked writing for BW's AJ. I do think Guza was gearing up for an Alan/Monica type coupling for AJ/Carly, but when BW's AJ fizzled the plans were dropped. Then again we got SK's AJ back years later and that was entirely botched in the end so I could be totally wrong lol.
  11. Not nearly as good. Structurally, it was strange it was at the beginning of the show. I know GH has been preempted so days are off, but it feels like the montage should have been a Friday cliffhanger and the rest of yesterday's episode should have been the fallout on a Monday.
  12. I will agree the montage today was a straight Guza ripoff. It wasn't up to even late Guza standards, but if felt very much like what he would have done-just less effectively.
  13. Thanks for that info! Hoping everyone you know including family and friends are safe!
  14. It's mostly human activity. Either arson or something careless or benign like throwing out a lit cigarette or a campfire burning. Pair that with the wind and dryness of Socal and it just gets out of control quick. ETA-they haven't said anything about how the current fires started, sorry. I was just saying how they could possibly start.
  15. Very scary. I think the winds are supposed to die down tonight so hopefully they can get some containment on these fires.
  16. I assume the intention was to give Chad Duell some Emmy material for his final scenes and let a long time veteran play out his run. I do think it's fair to allow that. That doesn't mean I agree with the material and the graphic nature of it. Also, as much as I hate Drew I feel awful that CM lost his house. As someone who has been displaced living in Socal during evacuations in the past it is a very scary time. This was just unfortunate timing on GH's part. Well, Cameron Mathison was on TMZ live talking about it so it's a fact
  17. Lois would have taken that pregnancy and made BLQ face it head on. She hates lying, she hates secrets, and does what is right. That has always been the core of Lois's character. She has strong integrity. I really side eyed the accent thing, but this is unbelievable. She would have supported Brook Lynn in her choices, but never would have agreed to deceive people about it especially since I assume the child is Dante's. I am going to assume GH chose to have a modicum of taste in this area and also wanted to let Chad play out his last scenes. You could still recast and make plastic surgery believable.
  18. The Michael/Willow scenes were obviously the big story today and I am sure everyone has a ton of comments I agree with. Is anyone else disturbed Lois kept this baby secret of Brook Lynn's so long? That seems so out of character for her. Rena's return has been such a disappointment. Also, Brook you are 20 years older than you were in high school and in your mid 30's. Babies aren't as easy to come by as the years go on lol. It's been like 3 months.
  19. I agree SK's AJ didn't get much to do at first. He did get the Jason brain damage story and he played the initial part of the Carly/AJ ONS. I think the show recast him directly after they slept together and Carly poured the booze on him to make him think he relapsed. I recall they re shot those scenes with BW for flashbacks. There is just a swagger of faux confidence that SK's AJ had. It worked so perfectly with the character. I also thought he connected well with SD, LC, and SBu. Considering the fairly sudden circumstances of SK's firing I do get the idea to cast someone that was known, reliable, and solid. BW never quite "fit" for me as AJ, but I did get used to him. He really did what he could with a thankless role once AJ became Sonny's favorite whipping boy. I wonder if we will ever find out who was originally cast as the AJ replacement. I would assume it would be a 'soap' name at least considering how front burner the AJ/Carly/Michael story was at the time. Brenda should kick Natalia right out of Deception and take her role immediately.
  20. I stand corrected. I always thought Willow was a ho. I just thought we'd get out of this trip with a love declaration and no sex.🤮
  21. Well, of course. Who wouldn't think it was romantic?😂 I was thinking more in the physical sense that they weren't screwing again yet lol.
  22. I don't think they are messing around this trip. They are just both idiots. Michael aside, the optics of a married woman going into half dressed Drew's hotel room in her slinky pajamas isn't exactly good for Drew's image as a politician. Her kid is with her too! Just put some clothes on, call Drew first, and go to his room to talk about your angst like a normal person. I hope the humiliation for the two of them is next level.
  23. Do you know who they originally cast as AJ? That's actually a super interesting tidbit I have never heard before. BW was never my AJ. He was miscast, but he did well with the material he was given. Idk, I find his AJ more interesting than Frankie Brady on Days. I always thought Frankie was a dud of a character although I know he was popular.
  24. Chanel was referring to her Grandmother. Paulina refers to her mother as "big momma" as well. Allie has been dating a man for a long time. Pretty much since she left the show. He's some surfer guy from Australia or New Zealand. Wherever Will shot his movie. I guess she's still there. Chanel should dump Johnny because of this, but she shouldn't quit a job she loves.
  25. I am actually not surprised Kerry is lady whistleblower. There was a scene a few weeks ago with Javi, Kerry, and Leo at the Pub and he was acting weird. It definitely gave me a vibe he was a possible suspect. It's still a silly move because Kerry is so inconsequential, but I think there was a tiny bit of groundwork laid for this "twist".
