  1. Rachel the Elder lived until the Paris story. She died in the tunnel explosion when John/Marlena were trying to escape Stefano's lair. She shot Stefano and both were presumed dead, so it's not crazy to think she made it out too. Anyway, Rachel was firmly on Marlena's side and knew Kristen was evil. She tried very hard to get Kristen (and Peter) to be better people. Rachel's greatest fear was that her children would turn out like Stefano and Rachel was always a good person. If you read a wiki page about Aremid it would make sense for Rachel Sr. to be hiding out there, but nothing else does about this story currently.
  2. Oh, you know I didn't shed a tear over the loss of Courtney. I just thought it was a bit senseless to kill her off. Just put her in a coma like Lulu because you might need her at some point. She had enough connections to be viable later on perhaps with a different actress or something. Anyhow, Georgie and Emily were much bigger losses. It just feels mean spirited to kill a character off that just had a new baby lol.
  3. I preferred the first one as well. I know the actress was green, but Katie Stuart certainly wasn't a master actress either and didn't look the part. I forgot about Kristina I. So senseless to kill her off. I know she wasn't popular, but she didn't have to be brutally killed either. She was just a nice person and didn't harm anyone. It's so very Guza in that era to bend over backwards to create female characters with these familial ties and insert them into the canvas only to lose interest after a year or so and kill them off. Look at Courtney! I will say there were a lot of young men killed off in that era as well. Logan, Maxie's boyfriends, Cooper, Diego etc. They all tend to blur together to me, but it had to be at least 4 young guys that were killed in quick succession. I am not saying all or even most of the characters were a loss. It's just a lot of senseless violence and a lot of it was non-mob based.
  4. I remember being upset Sage died. I know the character was universally reviled, but I actually thought the she had potential. Sage at least shook that teen scene up a bit. Then to be brutally murdered the way she was (locked in a freezer and froze to death, IIRC?) seemed so senseless. In the end, it was probably a way to marginalize Alcazar more and she gets forgotten because then Guza starting killing off more important younger leading ladies. Sage just could have left town instead and maybe brought back later with a more suitable actress.
  5. Thanks! I remember seeing it in 2002 and I couldn't remember if it was shown after. I love that stoop/stair situation.
  6. Sonny's penthouse looks like a Doctor's office for sure. I think the windows are similar, but how do say it's the same penthouse when it's missing an entire floor? And you literally have Jason's penthouse to compare it too? They never looked the same but they were across the hall from one another. Just say Sonny bought a new one in the same building. I would love something similar to the og Brownstone. When's the last time we saw the original set?
  7. The Brownstone is all wrong. I would also nominate whatever is happening with Sonny's penthouse. I will always be trying to figure out what is happening there. The door was on the other side and there used to be stairs.
  8. Oh, I don't either to all of the above. Take them far away! I just thought the show explained it okay. They are all kind of at a stalemate and it's harder to remove the kids from the Q's than just leave them there. They are safe. Tracy is just putting her foot down and Carly/Jason/Sonny care about Michael more at this point like usual.
  9. I don't necessarily think Tracy truly does have any control. I do assume the main point of Diane's argument was to not uproot the children from the home they know when Willow has no stable home and was with her boyfriend when Michael was injured. The understanding was the children were to stay at the Quartermaines. From the way it's playing out to me if Carly really pushed to get the children she probably could go to court and get them. Sonny/Carly could also go to court to fight Willow having medical proxy. All of this would take time. Since Michael is the one who technically has custody all everyone is doing is arguing over the kids without any legal right. Everyone will just have to sort it out in court. No one else except incapacitated Michael can just take the kids.
  10. We do know the details. Diane filed for an emergency custody order to take the children away from Willow on Michael's behalf. She showed up with the PCPD (Chase) so it was legal. Martin told Willow to do the same thing before Diane did, but Willow went to the hospital instead to see Michael and Diane got temp. custody in the meantime for Michael.
  11. Seriously, people on this show have been discharged quicker for gunshot wounds.
  12. Why on earth would Kai need to be in the hospital overnight for a shoulder dislocation?
  13. At this point these kids are probably just so confused about how their grandfather was married to both their grandmothers.
  14. I would be more disappointed with Nina being my grandmother, tbh.
  15. Well, there's also the utterly charmless girl that played child of the corn Joss in that tween storyline back in the day. She MIGHT be less charismatic than Wiley. Honestly, I'd be pretty miserable if Michael/Willow were my parents too.
  16. Well, James is at least believable as a 9 year old child. I wonder why the show cast such a shy little boy to play Wiley. Even Dylan Cash had more charisma and you know how I feel about Dylan Cash.
  17. I don't think the little boy that plays Wiley is as natural as the actor that plays James, but the way the family and Willow/Michael speak to and about Wiley makes him seem much younger.
  18. Considering James and Wiley are the same age or at least the actors are, Wiley comes off about 5 honestly. Not a toddler, but definitely not like a regular 9 year old kid.
  19. Especially since Javi/Kerry were in a home shared by his family members. Sure, do what you want in your own apartment, but it's super inappropriate in the kitchen where anyone living there can walk in. Considering Paulina was sitting almost the entire episode I think Jackee might have wanted to make her outfit pop more? Otherwise it's literally just a blue dress. It's not the most flattering, but at least you notice it lol.
  20. Oh, haha! I always kind of thought Aaron was a possibility, but since the show shipped him out of town he wasn't anymore. I was wondering how Aaron was going to get his Lacrosse scholarship after leaving town. Isn't lacrosse season in spring?
  21. Since this is my speculation and not a spoiler I was thinking there was a possibility Aaron might be the actual father of Sophia's baby. They keep mentioning how careful Tate/Sophia were and Aaron and Sophia did have a few bonding moments together.
  22. Oh, okay. I guess it's fair to assume they might be re-assessing the story with the backstage changes.
  23. To me it looks like all of those scenes are from 1997, specifically the latter half of that year. It sort of looks like Clink Boom is included, but I think it's actually from when Nikolas was shot outside Luke's in 1997. This is just my non-scientific guess, but seeing Sarah/Liz, BW's AJ, no Sonny and Jax/Brenda it appears it's from summer of 1997 on, but I don't see any specific clips that jump out as 1998.
  24. Apparently. I don't really know where you take Mark from here, but he didn't really get to do much. I am sure you could rehabilitate his character like they are trying to do with Cat. Aaron would be useful in the Tate/Holly story so it's weird he just vanished. Perhaps they are recasting? The actor that played Aaron wasn't great, but I thought he was kind of goofy and charming.
  25. This has nothing to do with today's episode, but Cat mentioned Aaron is staying with their mother because he's so far ahead in school (even though he needed Holly/Tate's help to not fail a few weeks ago). Dr. Mark is in jail, right? So are both of those actors off the show now? This feels like a rewrite too. Why would you introduce a whole new family only to dump most of them when they can actually be together?
