I haven't heard anything, but I thought it was obvious the show was going that route when EJ asked Eric if there was trouble in paradise and then Eric was very vague about Nicole's absence to everyone else. I assume it's to free up Eric and use Greg more. I liked Nicole and Eric's happy ending, but since I doubt Ari will come back anytime soon, if ever, I understand. Am I crazy or did they tease Sarah/Brady when LG first started as Sarah?

Agreed. I don't like Sarah very much and think she can come off hypocritical a lot. But keeping a secret because you knew your husband would do something criminal AGAIN and then he does the exact thing you thought he would isn't the same thing here. You can argue Sarah's judgement. It's two different leagues, especially since Xander already knew the truth about Phillip so it became a lie by omission at that point. I would also argue Xander isn't an excellent father if he can't keep his anger in control to the point he nearly kills someone not giving a thought about his daughter and possible jail time.

No Jagger Cates or Brenda Barret either? To be fair, the Degrassi kids did look young most of the time in Next Gen. That's a show that would continue to bring in new kids to make the transitions seamless and dump the ones (except Spinner) when they graduated mostly.

True. People complain if they look too old, but I grew up in the 90210 era and so old teens don't bother me as much. I was sorely disappointed there was no Dylan McKay at my school when I entered high school though lol.

I don't think any of the kids look age inappropriate. I just think it would be squicky to watch them in more mature stories. Unless they are real naturals like KMc, JJ, or Amber that could make the material work-which is rare. Holly/Tate/Sophia are all their twenties, but it's less awkward for me to watch them as "teens". Anyway, the show is better off sending 90% of the kids to boarding school.

Oh, I know Rocco, Danny, and even Georgie and Charlotte are teens, but they all are (and look) so young. I would age some characters from the logjam of kids they have on canvas already to mix them with Rocco/Danny and give them more story opportunities. I detest teen stories and GH hasn't done a good one in years, but logistically the show will eventually have to find a way to keep the flow going or we are going to end with 20 kids that are teens at the same time.

I guess Leo would be his (half) Uncle on both sides since Ned formally adopted him lol. I don't mind Rocco or the actor. There are kids that need to be aged up so they can do teen stories and I think he's one of them. Or they can keep Rocco, age some others and keep him as the younger friend like they did with Robin.

Well, I hope a lot of them turn out to be nothing lol. If the show is still airing in 5-10 years there is going to be about 20 children that need to be aged and I think the show does a horrible job with that. We have characters like Rocco, Danny, Georgie, and Aidan that are stuck in a young teenager age range so they can't really be utilized to full capacity and there is a huge age gap between Lulu, Emma, Trina and no real "teen scene" in between.

Well, we all know there is nothing GH likes more than baby or long-lost children stories. It certainly clutters the canvas up for people like Michael and Maxie to have multiple children so young. It's been a problem for years and likely won't change.

I mean, I doubt Michael is equipped to take care of two young children himself. He asks Sasha to watch the kids all the time anyway lol. What's the difference if you add one more in? The show would have squeezed more drama out of Michael getting the kids from Willow, Sasha having her baby, and Drew finding out about Daisy and blackmailing Michael or something. Not a single person in town was even upset about the Sasha/Michael reveal. Not even Willow lol.

Yeah, I don't what her plan would be. Have Michael watch her raise the kid from the next room? Lol. They introduced Daisy to the kids anyhow. So what's the point? Everyone in town knows. I have come to determine that Sasha isn't very bright. She was willing to say Jason was the dad as if that was safer lol.

Kristina really comes up with one stupid plan after another. Alexis really needs to get her in check. She basically gets away with everything and no one cares. How is Sasha going to raise her child without Michael's involvement? Don't they live in the same house or does Michael live with Carly? Isn't she technically his family's employee?

Was there a point to giving Sasha the wrong baby? Did I miss something yesterday? I was hoping Willow secretly tried to switch them and steal the baby, but I don't think that was the case lol.

It's on Amanda. She could have married the most conservative guy ever-I don't know anything about him to speak. But Amanda Setton is being paid to play a part. And, again, if it doesn't align with her morality or values-that's fine. Someone else will do the job and probably look a lot more excited about doing it. But the thing is everyone is saying her wardrobe is an issue. So someone needs to correct that.

It was the same thing in the Kirsten Storms baggy sweatshirt era. NO ONE tells these pretty women this looks ugly on camera-and also probably ugly in real life. It's obviously a sensitive subject, but I assume a trained wardrobe person could kindly say your Michael Jackson outfit is hideous and here are other options. Or a mid to late 30's woman would never wear this outfit from the early 90's. At this point I don't even know if GH has a wardrobe person though.

She is. Lol. Setton is probably actually doing good work and I am probably wrong. The minute she comes on screen in some ridiculous high collared Chico's outfit I am put off. The whole we want to protect our spouses and children thing is so obnoxious I'd rather see Alexa's Lulu act confused about why she was slapped than Brook Lynn win. Really good point about Chase. I didn't think about that, but it's nice to see a man ride or die for his wife on GH. Even if his wife is gearing up to join MC Hammer's tour like @Vee said and Chase has probably never seen her naked in the daylight 😂 I should have waited to post. You said it much better than I did.

True. An unfair comparison on my part. Brook Lynn was a lot less "woe is me, Chase help" yesterday than she has been in the past so I'll see where it goes.

I don't know where all Setton's charm and charisma went. I know she used to have some lol. If Lulu is destined to be the heavy, I would honestly focus on Maxie instead. Kirsten seems revitalized these days. Frank's version of GH is mostly sexless so it does make sense. After certain casting spoilers, I'll be lucky if I don't get Bree Williamson's Claudette back. Although I actually don't know if Claudette is dead or alive so I could be worrying for nothing. Thanks for that laugh. Perfect way to describe him.

When I think Jane Elliot looks fresher and younger than BLQ there's a problem......... But Tracy always slays so that might be unfair.

I think Setton is a horrible lead. She's dated like a 50's housewife without even being old. Havins is much more viable, but no one listens to me lol. I expect so much more from Ned/Lois's daughter and I don't think I am wrong about that.

UGH. It's Days actively hating me. They don't even realize I fund the entire show with the 10 years I've had Peacock not on a discount.

I think Alexa Havins is a perfect Lulu. While I think Emme Rylan was miscast she did show a less smug, slightly more mature side of Lulu. Her stories were legitimately awful the entire time she was appearing so I don't fully blame her. Her and Milo? Multiple weird kid stories? Side B stories with OLTL actors? It was blatantly like we have to put up with you because you are Luke/Laura's kid, but we hate you at the same time lol.

Oh, Patsy never bothered me as an actress. She fit right into the 80's supercouple Days vibe. I do think some actors are better built to adapt to the quick filming that Days has now and she might not have been able to keep up. It's hard for me to find a spot in my mind for a late 90's Kimberly (besides guest appearances). But then I can't see where Kayla/Steve would fit in late 90's JER's soap and they work wonderfully now. Whatever's best for her. PP gave me a lot of good memories and she mostly got a happy ending if you don't count the recent cancer stuff for Kim. I didn't particularly love Joy, but I thought the actress was fine. I wished for her to come back to Salem for so long and was so disappointed with what I got so I think that's my main issue. Like bring her back to Salem without Nancy(mostly), Craig or Chloe and have her be on a soap within a soap? She was basically just a woman Johnny and Alex could use and she could have been any random 25 year old girl not a legacy character.

Joy's entire arc was just odd. I am sure there were rewrites and then more rewrites. Because until 2 weeks before she left she was fine with a casual relationship with Alex. There is material there though. Phillip could pretend to be the babies father and Chloe could return and be awfully mad. Stephanie could suspect it was Alex's and it's the type of drama soaps like. BABIES!!! Thanks for a more recent update on Patsy! I really do think she has had so many obstacles and just horrible trauma, but I don't hate Days for calling it in 1993? It sounds insensitive, but Days is still a business and had cast and crew waiting around until Patsy felt okay to deal with the material. It's all around sad for me because I love Kimberly and Kimberly/Shane so much. And, PP always over acted and it wouldn't bother me. She's on the same set as Deidre Hall lol.

I think it's crappy Days wrote a MPD story for Patsy when they were aware of her struggles. She's also openly admitted she couldn't do her job so she had to be replaced. It appears Days tried to accommodate her needs and temp replaced her several times, but it was 1993 and we are much more aware of mental health now. I thought Ariana Chase was a decent Kimberly to complete the story. Patsy has been back on and off for years so it's not like there is bad blood with Days. I am under the assumption Pease declined or couldn't appear for John's funeral.
