Jason has eaten the show with him and doesn't have 1000's of kids...There is no excuse except the show wants to make Sonny look sexy and virile. And, IMO, Sonny was dead sexy back in the day, but hasn't been in about 15 years. It's so much. We've had women like Claire ask Sonny to impregnate her in 2011!! The bar is set low for Alexis's daughters, but agreed. She seems the most Alexis like. And I think Pullos grew into a stunning looking woman.

Pullos deserves a contract and I am shocked to say that because she was the most grating child actress IMO. It's not just the kids it's the amount of woman pregnant by him. 10 pregnancies? If I am counting right (Lily, Carly, Sam, Claudia). I mean, after seeing Stone die of AIDS and Robin live with it would he be so cavalier about birth control? I don't care he has kids, but enough is enough.

That would make sense. I kept wondering why he was around so much and why he was the first person to find Marlena after the rape. I thought it meant something. I don't know if I find him off-putting in these clips, which are Marlena-centric, but I find him out of place. He just seems like a run of the mill, bland, soap hunk. I wouldn't say there was great chemistry between Joshua and Marlena, but I thought he was very kind to her after the rape and a good friend. I just kept thinking Marlena has a lot of other friends, so where are they? I don't understand why Jessica/Joshua were popular. Jessica was lame. At least they created an exciting son (until he was ruined). On the show, did it say if Jessica/Josh were still together when Nick arrived?

But if half the town is related to Sonny/Carly does it really help repopulate? Jax has one kid after 25 years on the show. Robert/Anna have 1 kid. Holly has 0. Duke has a random kid. Brenda has a random kid. Frisco/Felicia have 1 living child. All Monica's kids are dead. I guess Liz/Jason/Sam/Maxie/Lulu have a decent breed of kids, but spread the wealth on this. Sonny has 6 kids that survived and Carly 4 (counting Morgan). It becomes like Days where most of the cast is related. Hell, Claire is related to everyone in town pretty much.

I hated little Johnny. He had awful taste. He wanted Kellam to be his dad too. There were a few scenes of Josh/Don sparring over Marlena and other characters mentioning them "dating". How random. I can't say I am disappointed that didn't work out, although at least Marlena was in Josh's age range. Unlike Jessica lol. I wonder what a pairing between the two would have looked like. Not exciting from what I can tell...

I would assume there were plans to eventually reunite Don/Marlena? Until the whole Roman stuff took off. Don was hanging around Marlena through most of the Salem Strangler stuff, but I always thought Don was a horrible husband and they shouldn't reunite. Don is a character that doesn't hold up very well overtime with his sexist, condescending ideas about women. And that scene is just very uncomfortable. There is a pretty famous John/Marlena scene from the early 2000's where John carries Marlena against her will like a caveman through Salem Place!! and then seduces her basically against her will that I have always hated too and it was considered sexy. Gross. Also, neither here nor there, but why was Josh Fallon always around Marlena during both the rape and some of the Strangler stuff. Was the show testing them as a couple? It definitely seems that way, but I have never really heard anything to back that up. Josh just seems very invested in Marlena at the time.

I actually like LA and thought she was good as a young Kristina, but she hasn't done anything of value in years. They need to recast at this point with a stronger and more mature looking actress. Lexi still looks about 16 and she's pushing 30 now. Molly looks older than her. The show needs an actress more believable to take on meaty material and she should be Sonny jr. All of Sonny/Carly's kids are so nice and good. So boring. I get why the show gave Sonny/Carly Donna, but they did nothing with it. It would have been intriguing to see Sonny/Carly with a special needs daughter. But she was fine almost immediately and not seen again. I can't believe they haven't brought Morgan back yet. Was BC that big of a pain? lol I am sure they could find another Morgan if so. He wasn't that good. I still don't get why they didn't make Avery Morgan's child, because I think most of the Sonny/Carly/Ava stuff could have played the same or better with Avery being his grandkid vs. bio kid. It would have been awesome for Brenda to be the one who found Sonny, not Nina. That story is another one that writes itself. Brenda keeps him away from his family because he's finally the man she wants with amnesia, they fall in love again, only for Brenda to eventually tell him the truth and Sonny's torn between her and his family. But, like you said, it does not seem like FV has any interest in the character, so I won't hold my breath. Nina finding him isn't the worst, but it could have been a character that would have more impact overall. I don't know why the show clings to Carson so hard. I am sure they have a decent fanbase and it's nice to have a stable couple, but Carson was never designed to be an endgame, solid pairing. I think it comes down to MB's issues with chemistry in pairings. LW's Carly has options because she tends to have chemistry with most of her pairings. MB does not, so Carson basically gets to hold the show hostage with a lukewarm pairing.

I just watched that scene and it is disturbing. When she slaps him and he lifts his arm to hit her back and Marlena flinches expecting Don to hit her. And then Don throws her on the bed. Yuck. I don't know if I consider it rape. Marlena does respond back and I think Don would have stopped had she told him to. The whole scene is just so dysfunctional and toxic. And it clearly was something Marlena almost immediately regretted. I don't know. It definitely can be debated and it turned my off to that pairing forever. I watched through the Kellam rape and I was shocked how good Deidre Hall was. So free of the tics and gasping and moaning she does now. She was just great in that story.

This is where the show really screwed up by giving Sonny so many kids. A Nina/Sonny baby would be soapy goodness. It would be so much fun to watch Carly's head explode. They should have made Avery Morgan's baby and Donna should not exist. I would even say Kristina is useless as well. Sonny should have only Dante, Michael, and Morgan as his kids. Then we could have a Nina/Sonny daughter and the possibility would be left open for a Brenda/Sonny kid. GH is the only show that has 3 supercouples with no kids (Robert/Holly, Duke/Anna, Sonny/Brenda). It's very strange. Why Ethan is not Robert/Holly's son astounds me to this day. Why Brenda's rando child isn't Jax's is perplexing as well. These stories write themselves lol.

I am watching that story right now! I think there was a big tonal shift in Brenda around the time her and Jagger hooked up the second time and Sonny/Karen hooked up. She wasn't just the spoiler of a bad girl anymore. She was still a sorta bad, but she had more layers with Jagger, Robin, Stone, Karen, etc. She seemed more vulnerable and root able at that time. I actually felt bad for Brenda in the situation with Jagger on a human level, not just because I thought Karen was super lame (which I still think to this day lol). Anyhow, Brenda was a mess, as someone said above, but she was a really good girlfriend even to Ned, AJ, and Jason. I really love the Ned/Brenda relationship to this day. Obviously all the brenda friendships : lois, Robin, Lucy. I also liked how her and Karen overcame everything to be friends. GH: Diane/Alexis DAYS: I always liked Marlena/laura when JLB was playing her Belle/Mimi/Chloe before it became a partner swap

Anna/Finn and Jax/Nina are so boring. I used to like Anna/Finn in the beginning too. Jax and Nina have always been dull although I thought they had a chance when MS was playing Nina. I truly don't believe either couple was madly in love or anything, so when they say it I am bored. But then again no couple on this show seems madly in love lol. I liked Brando when he first came on, but now that Dev's dead and the Molly stuff is over, what is the point of him? To pair him with Sasha? ZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzz...

Yeah, Mac's character clearly changed directions once Monty left. I guess he and Felicia had stories up until 1998-1999 when I think the Tale of 2 Macs was his last real leading story. And I think everyone, including JJY, would like to forget that. It's too bad because I think JJY is a decent, if bland, hero that could have led stories for years instead of being Uncle Mac or the bumbling commissioner only.

The way Gina said "JAWN" instead of John grated on my soul.

JJY as Mac as worst? The Australian accent was dropped after a few months lol JM as Stefano as one of the best. I did not know he was American for years.

So shrill and loud. But that's always been LW's version of Carly. She's the opposite of WR and KeMo the whisper twins... The coffee monologue actually made me eyeroll and giggle at the same time and the dramatics of the thrown coffee cup. Sonny would be proud of her destruction of glassware! I would have cracked up if she hit the moss instead of the wall. But a least Donna got her bi-monthly shout out so we remember she exists.

As per usual. She is so self absorbed she has her own pity party when Liz is going through the same thing on that very day. This is one of the first times I felt like she actually felt sad about Sonny dying though. Is Jason allowed to be more concerned about Jake than Carly ever lol?

Not that I didn't like the Cam/Zander scenes, but it's ridiculous they ignore Lucky's role in those kids lives. GV's Lucky was a great father to those boys even when he/Liz weren't together. He always considered Cam his son. But I am sure if Lucky was on the show they wouldn't even acknowledge Zander was Cam's father so I enjoyed the scenes. They easily could have written the Cameron dialogue as Lucky tried, but I still needed you or something.

4 if she goes through with the Rex stuff and they are basically all related: John, Brady, Eric, Rex. John in Paris in 1996 with the mirror, Brady as fakeNicole, Eric with drugs, and Rex with fakeSarah. At least John/Marlena have a house I guess. There was a period of time the townhouse disappeared and Jarlena were conducting their life from the Pub. The worst was when Steve was living with Hope and they showed all the scenes of him sleeping on the little couch in Hope's living room like Hope doesn't have a guest room. Lol

Haha about Chase. It's totally a situation where they have no definite answers, but let's just blow your life apart in case a 1 night stand led to a baby. Michael and Willow are like a Xanax, Sominex, and Ambien combined. And Wiley is so messy! They spend entire episodes picking up his toys. Umm..have you not been watching this show since 1995? Of course Sonny has all the skills. Some amnesia isn't going to bring him down.

I honestly would pair up Jason and Carly to get maximum impact. But I would definitely have amnesiac Nina/Sonny hook up. But no baby lol. Jax/Carly wouldn't be as fun because Jax vs. Sonny has been done to death. Jason vs. Sonny I can get onboard with.

If I have to watch a Sonny/Jax/Nina WTD story I will never recover. Sonny has about 3 too many kids already. I guess we can give Jax another kid since the 1 he has is basically being raised by Sonny anyways. But I assume Ingo's days are numbered due to everything off screen and I don't think there is a huge faction of Nina/Jax fans in the world. I did notice today that CW's hair was starting to look more and more like LW's. Ugh.........

Ugh the Belle and Brady aging bothers me more when the constantly reference Jarlena's affair and Sami kidnapping her! Phillip wasn't really used much after his initial story, so I was okay with him. Plus we always have EJ to really mess it all up. I don't mind Orpheus either but he's become silly. This man hates Jarlena forever and ever, but at some point he just gave fake dead Marlena to Stefano instead? Was that ever explained? I liked Zoey. I guess the casting issue made them drop the character completely.

I actually think your line of thinking makes sense with Marlena/Ben and the possibility of him being a long lost child . And I don't like it, but it sort of a fear of mine too. Most likely, they are just using Marlena to prop Ben and make his killings okay since he's 'cured' now. But we probably shouldn't put the idea out in the universe in case lol. I am not sure the point because Marlena caring for them in the past wasn't necessary or really important to plot. But, again, the Orpheus stuff has never made a ton of sense since Roman is the one that killed Orpheus's wife, not John. And I still don't really get why Evan or Orpheus care about Ciara much.
