I have to wait to watch on Hulu tonight, but from what everyone is saying I am excited about the twist. I, too, felt Sonny was being ridiculous about not even talking to Jason and believing the worst, so now it's all starting to make sense. And even if Valentin's days are numbered at least this gives him a bit more gravitas as a villain. You know I have never found him anything other than a sad weepy mess. And I guess I'll just ask this because I am curious-did the Charlotte/Anna story ever have an ending? Where is Charlotte? Does she still hate Anna? Is she still a psycho? Was it dropped? I am not advocating more Charlotte, but I don't recall if the story ever played out lol.

If Marlena mentioned the name Jamie, I would have at least bought it and be happy Jamie reappeared in Sami's life. Although, I guess sad her husband is dead, but Jamie did always have a crush on Lucas.

I like JS, but I don't mind the recast either. On another note, the show is getting desperate with reasons why Sami is absent. I have to 1. Believe Sami has a close female friend 2. That said friend was actually comforted by Sami in a time of tragedy 3. Sami would avoid reeking havoc at Eric's son's Christening held by Nicole and EJ for any reason? That's not the Sami I know lol. As far as Belle....she's just with Shawn. No need to elaborate or talk about how they are doing lol.

I tend to agree that the idea of a temporary recast is a bit silly too. In the case of Sloan though, I find this temp so similar in appearance and mannerisms that I barely noticed. That could be a swipe at JS's acting, but this temp is practically her twin lol. 😂 Yup. She could.

I think being on Days helped Steve a bit. I know Harris isn't terribly deep or anything, but it still allowed Steve to do something a bit different and show some emotion. It looks like he's trying to bring that to Jason and I like it. I agree with everyone that hiring Dex at the PCPD is random, but I don't mind it.

Since it's basically the same set I always thought they lived in the same building, although I think this is the first time it's been acknowledged by the show. I think John/Marlena just have the larger, penthouse in the building and Steve/Kayla get a kitchen lol. Oh, @AbcNbc247, you know Deidre Hall has never met a sparkly blazer she didn't like lol.

I still can't get past the visual disconnect either with Jagger. I agree AH is doing a good job and I'd probably be praising him up and down as an amazing find if he played anyone but Jagger. It's still really throwing me off, but I suppose I will get used to it in time.

I find Rachel mildly humorous, so I don't think you'd like Violet. Violet's not a demon at all. She's just this weird lisping, child prodigy who sings, plans dates, knows grown up business, and is overly precocious to say the least. Rachel is supposed to be a spoiled terror. Violet is supposed to be adorable.

No, she's alive. She just apparently hates her own child as much as we do and won't come a pick her up and raise her. Just realized Spencer and I have the same birthday (not the same year lol).

Yeah, I am a few days behind and have to catch up, but I don't get the sense Lois should or does regret anything in her life. I do see the point @Jdee43 is making about her seemingly suspended in animation for 30 years like she can just jump right back into PC as if she hasn't lived an entire life outside these characters all these years, but I don't think she is a caricature or anything. Lois is a character grounded in reality, more than most. She's just a bit quirky in her style. 100% agree about Kin. Once a month is more than enough of Scott for me.

Yeah, he is, but Harris did tell EJ and that was enough for now to get Xander out of jail. Maybe Harris had some sort of plan if Stefan doesn't turn himself in. Like blackmailing EJ? Some bigger purpose-like to get Ava out of trouble for freeing Clyde?

Listen, I am still wondering if Gabi is ever going to get a trial or if we are ever going to find out who killed Li! The whole Stefan/Ava/Harris climax really lacked any impact on anything. So I can't predict where anything is going or if it's going anywhere lol.

I still don't exactly get what Nina's plan is. Like Ava said, should she just harass Sonny while Dante's shot lol? I want to see unhinged Nina harass Sonny while Dante is shot! I get it's a plot point to bring Sonny/Ava together, but I don't see Nina's logic at all. Maybe that is the point. This might be unpopular, but I'd recast Cam. I like WL and maybe he'll be able to commit to something in the summer and that's what the show is counting on. If not, I would just find someone else. It worked fine with Trina and it really does feel like Cam's missing especially with Spencer gone.

What's with the show's obsession of ugly braiding Rena Sofer's bangs? It's not an attractive hairstyle. Joss was her usual insufferable self, but I am happy she's sad about Dex. I don't really understand the reasoning, but whatever. I am going to compliment Diane and say I liked her and Alexis's scenes today. I don't really know what to say about the Kevin and Ashford family scenes, so I won't say anything at all. Obviously Ava is up to something and these Nina/Ava scenes continue to prove that theory to me in my mind. But Nina, Sonny is your husband! Just go over there and demand answers, fight, break up, divorce, reconcile, whatever. You are asking a lot of Ava. Fight for your own damn relationship.

Oh yeah. I mean, the man dated pre-fame Tara Reid for two years, I doubt he always had such pious views lol. Agreed. I know I had this conversation about AS on GH and the fact she doesn't like love scenes out of respect for her husband. Even though the reasons are different it just makes me think this is the wrong genre for you. Steve Burton had way too much power on GH and got way more say than he should. To be fair though, I could totally see Days hard passing trying to film and choreograph a love scene with a man with a serious gunshot wound.

Yeah, who knows? I know he said on GH had gained some weight and that's why he didn't do love scenes. I swear I remember hearing he became a born again Christian when he got married maybe? I don't know if that applies now since they are divorced though. I honestly feel like Deidre looked younger in the 90's than she did in the 80's and looked the same until age until about 2013 and I am not even exaggerating.

Drake/John's tears today were a um...choice? He spent half the episode with 2 tear tracks down his face lol. I know Sloane is awful, but, again, she is not wrong for being upset Nicole is hosting their baby's christening. It is weird and inappropriate. If Eric wanted Holly to be a part of it so much just have her help with the planning instead lol. Ej/Stefan are boring. So I know Brady/Eric consider themselves brothers, but does Brady consider Carrie his sister? I know Belle does, but I can't for the life of me recall a Carrie/Brady scene since he was a child. That has nothing to do with today's show, but I was just curious. I thought it actually did have something to do with religion..or Kelly Monaco lol. Oh, I know everyone on this board including me agrees with you. I just wonder if that's the perception of the entire GH audience and TPTB at GH. The pairing still gets lengthy clip tributes even in the most recent primetime special. Idk, it's part of the reason I don't invest in Kevin/Laura. I just assume at some point they will convince TG to leave Amsterdam for a few minutes to reunite L&L.

Hey, we both like Robert and Olivia too. Which will contradict my next point. I think Robert seems a bit old and curmudgeonly to be viable with anyone. Anna and Laura just seem so much younger and vital. Sorry Tristian! That being said I don't understand the love for Holly/Robert over Robert/Anna. I know I am wrong, but I honestly don't "get" Holly/Robert or Anna/Duke. Idk, do we really think GH will end without Luke/Laura as a couple? I know it doesn't make sense nor do I like the couple much, but I've always thought when the show goes off air, they will end up together.

I am 99% sure he was going to propose and then went to Al-anon and reconsidered his decision. So the ring is/was for Theresa, he just had second thoughts about proposing so quickly after her relapse and realizing the scope of her problems.

So, I am probably creating a little more to early Brenda than what was on paper, but I think the Q bros might have been too easy of a get for her. She knew she was pretty and I think she wanted a project in Jagger. And sex was her best weapon on Karen. Get the guy from the wrong side of the streets just to stress Julia out more. She didn't think she needed money at the time, so I think Jason was too dull for her. AJ and Brenda do make the most sense to me and they obviously tested them pretty hard to the point AJ was jealous of Sonny. I just think it's a rare case where a show just followed the chemistry and MB/VM won out. Brenda did explicitly state early on her childhood was bad. She delved into a lot more with Jax when they first started dating . She wasn't that open about it with Sonny, but that could have been discretion on her part for once because his childhood was worse.
