I think it's a bit too early to tell and Holly's acting out was pretty minor, but I agree. I think she will entirely lose her edge, but maybe Tate will gain more of one instead?

I think if CM was better received by the audience or if Drew wasn't a rage monkey just yelling at Nina he might have a chance. At this point I think he will be gone in 3-6 months.

Tripp's never really had a clear identity throughout the show and different regimes so I am not surprised. But the fact you have Sami and EJ's son, Marlena and Stefano's grandson doing a whole lot of nothing is disappointing. He should be an epic legacy character and Johnny is just...there. Definitely not taking the canvas by storm or anything.

I agree with you. I don't think the show is stalling at all. Do I love everything? No, but things are happening. Abe FINALLY got his memory back and that's been going on for months? Nearly a year?

It's strange because I don't dislike Wendy, Tripp, or Johnny. I do like them. Chanel is just the only one I find interesting lol. Raven Bowens just appears to have more charisma than the rest. I did think Wendy/Victoria Grace had some potential in the beginning, but her spunk sort of disappeared.

I feel like the investment level is so low on all 4 characters. They should be doing things, but they aren't. What exactly was the point of Holly's crush on Johnny? It went nowhere lol. Wendy/Tripp/Johnny/Chanel went nowhere. Now they are just good buddies. It's disappointing, but I have to say outside of Chanel I do find the other 3 pretty dull.

Haha! It would be the coldest, most emotionless pairing in history. I actually had a thought about Portia, but then didn't want poor Brook Kerr to have to be paired with someone who actually tries less than Donnell Turner.

I don't have a particular investment in any of those Jason pairings. If you ask me, Robin was his best pairing and that ended 25 years ago lol. What I will say is that I do think SBu does pretty well creating chemistry in his romantic pairings. They've all been pretty popular. I would absolutely give Jason a shot with someone new instead of going back to those played out pairings. I just don't know who yet. I am also absolutely fine with him going it alone and dealing with all his other issues. Jason isn't a character that I feel needs a romantic partner. He's not Sonny. He can spend time alone and be okay lol.

I think you are correct about that. Zoe was younger than Maya who was Ethan's contemporary, so I would assume she'd be about Michael's age. Obviously that could be changed, but I think that's a good assessment of how old she's supposed to be. Hasn't Steve Burton already won an emmy? Back when he tried? Why would he stretch himself more? His work is done lol. I agree with everyone else. He should have gotten his memories back ages ago, but it doesn't matter much now. Drew essentially has become what Jason would be with Q memories IMO.

Agreed. I don't think played out SBu/Jason Morgan is worth the get if he's just allowed to have a say in his own material. And I like Jason more than most here. Perfect. I would love that.

He couldn't even follow basic mandates. But the tale of Jason getting his memory back and Steve refusing goes back years and years.

This rumor has been floating around for about 25 years now. I don't think it's a recent thing. Everyone can hate Sbu all they want, but when the show allows him to make decisions that's more on GH than an actor. KE would be good. I think there are at least 20 actresses we could name who could work. Keesha didn't have enough story to really pinpoint an actress. She could basically be almost anyone (with a secret AJ kid).

Yeah, I figured SA was pretty much out of acting. Not sure if she retired from it or just couldn't get work. I just remember she was arrested for Public intoxication or thrown off a plane, both? Hope she is doing well. There are a lot of actresses out there that could play the part though.

Would you recast Keesha? Last I heard SA had some troubles, but that might have been about a decade ago lol.

Lol! I can only imagine #25yearsofLiason isn't the most satisfying place for payoff in a fanbase. As #32yearsofBrenda here can attest lol. That's not at all what's happening onscreen and I thought we learned from the Brook Lynn dress debacle that people don't always post what's happening. Just feelings and vibes on twitter.

Yes, Robin and Lucky were relevant, but I am thinking a bit larger as far as age gaps. Everyone is the same age here. I think you do need some junior or seniors in high school to build the first layer and those characters can be in hot and heavy love triangles. You can even bring in new characters ala Jagger and Karen. I just think you should go all in on the teens or just send them to boarding school for a bit. Since it is a new regime I am not going to rag on it too much, but I do think there needs to be a plan. Age some teens, bring some in, get rid of some, etc. There are a boatload of kids to develop here.

If they didn't just decide to give the teens a distinct personality last week I would have more to say. IMO, all these teens are almost too young to build a story on. You can have a younger teen like KMc or JJ, but you need some teens a little older to start anything relevant.
