  1. It seemed so Ron to me. Does anyone under the age of 30 even know Zenon? Lol. For all I know the movie could be making some sort of tiktok comeback though.
  2. The Days Halloween fantasy episodes are almost always stupid. I don't think yesterday's episode was much worse than usual Halloween ones. I cut the whole gag entirely if it was up to me.
  3. Great news! As much as complain about the show I would never want it cancelled and hopefully the new writers get a chance to fix the current problems.
  4. I know we moved to the November thread, but I guess my question was who did KeMo want to be paired with at this point? Obviously not Steve, she didn't seem to what to be paired with CM's Drew, they were bringing back Lulu so Sam couldn't stay with Dante forever, and, sadly, Billy Miller passed away. I am just trying to figure out what KeMo wanted and how she thought she was going to manage to stay employed if she just vetoed everything?
  5. I liked the Jason scenes and the JaSam montage. It's fitting to me for them to end out the episode since most of Sam's important moments have to do with Jason. Steve did a good job. Poor Kelly. Fired and dead and has to listen to some of her least favorite cast members give monologues to her "dead" body lol. NLG/Alexis did a good job, but it didn't really give me any feels. I never thought the Sam/Alexis bond felt that organic or strong. NLG just basically elevated the writing here with her performance nothing more. I don't think Van is too bad. He's has moments where he can reel it in for sure, but it doesn't bother me. Unfortunately I do think Sasha will get pregnant.
  6. Yeah, I admit I am not the most reliable narrator on Nina's airtime. I don't really care if Nina leaves tomorrow. I just kept seeing her in scenes in a few different stories so I didn't think she was being written out or anything. I just think the whole Willow/Drew/Nina story was completely re-written and now she's at loose ends. Since pretty much everyone knew Sam was going to die I obviously wasn't shocked. I was more surprised by Sasha/Michael sleeping together to be honest.
  7. I am not the best person to ask, but it seemed like she was? Someone who tracks episodes would know. Sometimes Nina just popped in mid episode, but I feel like she was with Drew a few times, Willow, Sasha, and Ava at least. It's obvious CW/Nina's airdates have diminished, but she still has her hands in multiple stories. I was just thinking it was resting and resetting Nina more than a sign that Nina was on her way out.
  8. EM for an AJ recast on GH. I have told you this!
  9. I am clearly not the world's biggest Nina fan, but it seems like she is still on a lot lol. She doesn't currently have an "A" storyline and is more supporting currently, but she keeps popping up in different storylines with different people. It seems more like a normal ebb and flow for a character not named Sonny, Jason, or Carly.
  10. Despite the ickiness of Ava having once been involved with John, I don't mind Brady/Ava. TB/EM have nice chemistry. It's better than Brady/Kristen round 1000 or whatever was happening between Ava/Roman lol. Strange Ava isn't the least bit concerned about Stefan or wondering where he is. I like Sofia/Tate. They seem to be moving way too fast, but at the same time they've had more real conversations than Holly/Tate ever did before they decided they were in love after 1 date. Besides, Sofia seems to come with way less drama and baggage at this point so I can see Tate just going for it. He's 17. I didn't love the Chad/Cat scenes. I am over this story.
  11. Lol. Cody throws a lot of timelines out of whack. Considering he was Dante's buddy as a kid that would mean Dante is approximately the same age as well and Sonny was close to 30 when he arrived in town in 1993. Which leads me to believe Dante had to be born in like 1983. So was Cody born years before we saw Mac/Dominique meet on screen? 🤣
  12. Yeah, okay that's what I thought. I remember thinking the Bells had to be old to "adopt" or pretend to be Cody's parents since Katherine was a woman in her late 20's at least when Cody was born. Since none of this timeline makes any sense with Cody I suppose the ages could have dialed back a bit or something.
  13. Wait! I thought it was the same Bell family that raised Cody and Katherine. Even though I know there related only through Dominque
  14. Cody was adopted by the Bells and raised on Serenity. He's related to Katherine through Dominique because they are half sisters. Cody/Katherine sharing the same last name and being raised by the same family isn't how they are related strangely enough. I don't even know if Cody knew Katherine at all lol.
  15. How boring. They kissed on the 4th of July then completely stalled and now it's out in the open. I suppose it could lead to a legit Willow/Drew/Nina triangle if Michael dumps her. But, let's be honest, this woman lied about cancer and like 5000 other things so this stupid kiss shouldn't be the deal breaker for Michael.
  16. I am going to give the show the benefit of the doubt. It was a picture and a caption. That probably took someone 10 mins, which is why I thought it was shocking it wasn't shown the Monday after he passed. I am going to consider it intentional due to the fact John was mentioned numerous times today.
  17. I assume because this episode had a heavy focus on John? It would be weird to insert a picture of Drake into an episode that featured Body & Soul. I am not judging this tribute because this is obviously just a quick one announcing his passing to the audience and there will be many on screen ones to come.
  18. I think it will get sadder, but probably easier for me overtime? Idk, right now all the John mentions make me sad. Especially when there is an entire story being built around him right now.
  19. I know. I teared up for sure. I also got teary when Marlena said something like John got very good news or a miracle today (I can't remember the wording) when talking to Eric. It's difficult when you know the actor's knew about Drake's health. I think that's ALM's natural hair. She's worn it curly like that in other things I have seen her in. I liked today's episode overall. I really like Sophia and root for her. She got more depth today, but I hate how the show goes into racist cliches. She had weird Asian food so kids made fun of her. Her parents are strict. All characters of Asian descent on this show seem to have similar upbringings.
  20. Thanks for the warning. This is why I read your recaps before I watch lol. I find the scenes with Marlena talking about John super depressing. I am not looking forward to months of hearing about what John's doing off screen. I know the show did the same with Doug/Victor, but they weren't as focal as John and their deaths weren't so sudden and shocking.
  21. I actually considered that. The way Javi kept the ring on and was borrowing it.
  22. How are Vivian and Ivan going to keep a grown ass man in Alamania against his will forever? What a dumb plan. I have no use for Stefan at this point, but it actually seemed like the show decided to fire him about 2 days before this episode was filmed. It wasn't thought out at all. And how weak is Stefan that old man Ivan can overpower him lol? Not sure about Javi. Too early to tell. If he's so resentful of Rafe I am not sure why he came to his house and decided to move in. JPL's Phillip is my least favorite Phillip. Yes, I like KB's Phillip more than his. I just can't stand the way he plays him at all. I guess that's it for Fiona and Eric too. Seems like some really shifting of the canvas happened in this episode.
  23. I think the show will eventually reveal Jagger had much more sinister plans he was going to pursue and 'justify' Sonny killing him. Or, yeah, that Sonny's shot didn't actually kill him and someone else did.
  24. I guess it depends on what we are considering short lived because even someone like Addie was on for 3 or 4 years as a contract player. If we are considering characters that were on a few years and not 'guest stars' I would probably say Stone from GH. Michael Sutton was only on for 2 years, but Stone's legacy and impact are still talked about today. Plus, the obvious impact of giving Robin HIV as well. Heroines that died tragically young like Lily on GH or Isabella on Days, just to name a few, tend to have much longer legacies than they would have otherwise too.
