  1. IMO the term "amnesia" should be permanently banned from soap operas. It should be considered off-limits. We must never endure this again.
  2. Up to October 22th, 1992. 🦩 "Old feuds never die." 🔷 Ladies and gentlemen... And just like that... One life to live has returned to TOP form. Well... almost. These last three episodes have been such a breath of fresh air. It's as if a new chapter has begun... and the magic is finally coming back. 🔷 Let me kick things off with the most interesting part. I've heard plenty about this classic "feud", but until now, I had only seen a scene or two. I was starting to think that everything I read about their legendary history was just that... history. But wow, it appears that it's finally happening - the big leagues have entered the ring. Dorian Lord and Victoria Buchanan delivered one of the most entertaining scenes ever. Bitchy, witchy... full of venom. Just observe Dorian's body language - her posture is like that of a tiger getting ready to pounce. Meow. And that vicious back-and-forth... WOW... That's the kind of dialogue soaps are missing these days. And it's delivered by these one in a million actresses. You’ll catch all of it in the clip of the day section. For context - the growing suspicion about Viki and Sloan finally pushed Dorian to confront her. The fur was flying! 🔷 Now, let’s rewind a bit. Why is Victoria in this situation right now?! Well... Clint kind of... walked out on her! Yes, you heard that right. After she finally confessed to kissing Sloan. She claimed, "he kissed me", but that was more than enough. Her good intentions in finally being honest with Clint... backfired. And I’m not blaming Clint at all. I thought he would pay Sloan a little visit, but to my surprise... Clint showed more class than that. He simply packed his bags and left. I think I may have to do a different post just to upload this scene too. 🔷 Heading into the madhouse, also known as Asa's manor. Blair has come to the conclusion that Cain is too big of a threat, and it’s time to take action. She did what she does best - she lied, claiming he’s been making inappropriate remarks about her... and that he’s been looking at her in a certain way. Asa, of course, totally lost it! He confronted Cain, who denied any of this was going on... and then the two little parasites started sparring with each other. I'll repeat myself and say - I can see a future for these foxes. They’re just meant for each other. 🔷 In the Suede-Max-Luna drama, there's a new twist... (of course there is) - a witness spotted a briefcase... blah blah blah... to sum it up, it seems Suede's wife was killed by her father... who might have had some sort of inappropriate relationship with his daughter. Yikes. Thankfully, these scenes were short, and for now, it seems like we're stepping back from this craziness. It doesn't match the quality of the other parts of the show. It's just mediocre. I also feel like it's been raining in that town where they've been for weeks. I'm counting down the days until this is over. I want it wrapped up and done. I felt the same way when they were dragging out the Who killed Carlo murder mystery. 🔷 Now for the grand finale... let's talk about something SUPER exciting. Nora Gannon has entered some sort of a war (more like a flirtation) with her ex-husband. Not only is she staying in town... she's also taken on Marty Saybrooke's case. Did you forget about that little witch? Yep, she's done it again - smashed into The Banner's window. Now Nora wants to defend her just to get back at Hank. Sheila is witnessing all of this... realizing there's more than just animosity here. There's a history, there's passion, and there's definitely trouble. P.S. I almost forgot - Nora met this guy she had an instant spark with. That guy's name is Bo Buchanan. He was grinning from ear to ear. Ugh, I dislike Bo. Ever since he ditched Cassie like a dog. Overall - 10/10 - They're back. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Clip of the day "But coming from a high-minded tramp... such as yourself... means nothing."
  3. 😂 Hahaha, that makes me happy. That bad storyline is the gift that keeps on giving. I expected Luna to defeat the bad cop using telekinesis or something absurd like that, but Thank God they restrained themselves. My biggest issue is that I remember how when they had that wife beater storyline a year ago... Luna was the hero, she beat that man up herself from what I remember... She didn't need a guy in a tank top to do the job. She was that kind of girl. And that had more potential.
  4. Did y'all see the ratings Errol posted... BTG is DOING SOOO GOOD.
  5. Yes BTG! I KNEW IT. YES! UP and UP and UP! Slow and steady... UP! Fourth week in a row JUST INCREASING! Largest overall audience since MARCH! Cheers to all the Hamilton Widow fans! ❤️ Thank you @Errol! I was waiting with bated breath for this.
  6. We are getting one hour back in 24 minutes. It's that time of the year. I love getting that hour back, LOL. I'm staying up just to experience the feeling.
  7. Btw I also think that coming from Joey these comments are absurd. So I agree with your statement.
  8. Up to October 19th, 1992. 🦩 "Love or... gaslight?" 🔷 I really hate it when my job interferes with my favorite soap operas. It feels like I haven't been in Llanview at all this week. 🔷 The Viki-Clint unraveling is making a surprising twist... in terms of who I root for. I'm starting to understand Clint's perspective more and more. Viki's entire demeanor and her attempts to escape responsibility (about lying), trying to shift the blame onto him... even referring to him as "his father" (I recalled how @DRW50 talked about the show painting Clint as "young Asa" in this moment.)... crossed a line into gaslighting. I once had an ex who behaved similarly, believing he could do anything and then twist the narrative to make it seem like I was the one who misunderstood or provoked him. I recognize the patterns. Despite my fondness for Victoria (and me wanting her and Sloan together)... she is revealing a dark aspect of her personality again. Her tendencies to distort reality in pursuit of always being right... are somewhat narcissistic. Moreover, she truly is a master at delicate gaslighting and manipulation. The episode ended with a soapy twist - Clint overheard her talking with someone on the phone. Unaware that it was Leanne... he assumed it was Sloan. It's all so messy. 🔷 Addie successfully fooled the psychiatrist but in true soap opera style, she couldn't pull the wool over Cain's eyes. He did a few circus tricks and got her to admit that Blair isn't really pregnant. But here's the twist - just as he was about to reveal this to Asa, something held Cain back. Hmm. Then there's Tina (who I honestly forget is even part of this show at this point, as the writers seem to have completely put her in a corner), starting to question whether Cain is actually trying to protect or defend Blair. He denied it. WAY TOO MUCH. Perhaps we are heading in the direction I initially suspected. Could this be the start of a Cain-Blair romance or a Cain-Blair partnership? Poor Tina, she's been used and discarded by so many characters... it's truly sad. 🔷 Talking about sad... I must address the state of Luna Moody's character. Introduced in such an artificial manner (she literally parachuted into Llanview with a ridiculous backstory, and we were supposed to embrace her), she represented some sort of female independence and maybe even feminism... (wasn't she the one always urging Tina to stand up to Cord and not let him control her?) Yet, she has now transformed into the complete opposite of what she once stood for. She has become a stereotypical damsel in distress, relying on two muscular machos (who look like they escaped from 90s porn... gay porn to be exact) to rescue her from the big bad wolf. WOOF. Writers, you really dropped the ball on this one. SHAME. SHAME. SHAME. 🔷 This leads me to the most absurd twist I've ever seen in a soap opera. Well... perhaps not the absolute worst, but it was undeniably IDIOTIC. While being held at gunpoint... Luna Moody seemed to have an almost supernatural intuition... that the evil cop's gun was EMPTY. 😂 Isn't it fascinating when the Universe sends you signals like that? I mean... in reality, that's often referred to as schizophrenia... but in the world of soap operas, it's just considered normal. So, she had this feeling that his gun was empty and began to approach him... and then... VOILA, the gun was indeed empty... the evil cop fled, and Max beat him until he fell into the water. Then, the semi-muscular porn actor in a tank top came over and embraced our damsel Luna... all while Suede looked in the corner. This is precisely how threesome porn movies begin, y'all. 🔷 And now, for the grand finale... talking about sexy time... we witnessed something truly HOT - Sheila and Hank shared a passionate love scene that felt remarkably authentic. This leads me only one thought. When soap operas feature these romantic moments, it often signals that a significant TROUBLE is on the horizon. The couple will inevitably face an opponent or someone who wants to break them up. We all know who that person is, don't we? Nora! Let me just say that I've been slowly falling in love with Valarie Pettiford that I hope is now getting the storyline she deserves. We need her front and center. Give Luna and Max to the dogs (meaning don't give them so much story) and give all that attention to Sheila, please! Overall - 8.5/10 - I'm giving them more than they deserve (it's more like 6), because I love this show so much. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Clip of the day "You are acting like your father!" hhhhhhhh.mp4
  9. Brooke looked good in the last episode.

  14. Can I also say Amen to what @Broderickposted? And this reminds me of exactly why a twist like that didn't work on Bold. They suddenly decided to write Luna as this psychopath that has been planning all these evil things for months. But Brad Bell forgot one thing - we all saw her perspective (POV) when they were writing her as the good girl. We saw her crying alone in her apartment after getting assaulted. You can't tell me that someone who is faking everything... will be crying alone in her room. Who is she playing the role for? It was an insult to our intelligence as viewers. So I can give credit where credit's due. I can critize and nitpick to death, but I can also say Bravo when it warrants to be said. MVJ always had a plan for Hayley and we just had to wait and see.
  15. A man with that kind of sexy voice is destined to be a bad boy. 😼
  16. Yes! No sane person would want to do that to this perfection of man. That's a clear sign she is not right in the head. The Hamilton Widow is adorably unhinged... cute dangerous and pathologically greedy. And yes... a little bit sloppy. And we are here for it all 😍
  17. Yaaaas. If I survive my food poisoning I'll be ready ❤️😂
  18. I also believe this was in MVJ's head from the get go. I just knew there was more to her... Hayley couldn't be just that. There was this big piece of the puzzle missing. Aaaaaand they delivered. Just when I was about to say Goodbye... They got me back. And not only me... plenty of other people are back watching. Just because of this one little twist got them hooked again. The power of the twist. Still... now I would love for the twists to calm down. 😃 We need to breathe and take it one beat at a time. Judging by next week's promo I think they are doing this slowly and thoughtfully which pleases me.
  19. ❤️ I'm thrilled that you remembered! I was genuinely... excessively excited and amazed by the show during these initial weeks... And I feel like I'm gradually returning to that excitement. Even my husband, who couldn't handle more than 10 episodes before declaring it's not his thing... has begun watching occasionally with me these last few days. The Hayley twist caught his interest as well, even though he's viewing it in a humorous light. I think there is drama in it as well. And a lot of suspence.
