It's interesting how viewers can watch the same material and have a different reaction.

I find that perfectly natural. We (the viewers) are all different people so of course we all react differently to what we see on screen. What I do find "interesting" though is how some can't seem to grasp that concept, and act as if their opinion is the right one and everyone who disagrees with them are wrong and must be made to change their mind.

I can't see 2 rival networks and 2 different production companies working together to arrange a crossover.

Had anything like that ever happened before or since?

    Just Enquirer hype I think.

There was a crossover between EastEnders and Coronation Street in the UK some years ago.

There was also a crossover (sort of) between all the major British soaps just a few years ago.

EastEnders, Coronation Street and other soaps to crossover in historic TV event

  3. This is the kind of stories that have made me hate the Dingles (among other things, like them being totally unlikeable, obnoxious and basically the scum of the earth)

Miller explained that his hopes for Aaron involve a lot more mischief...

"It would be nice to have a trio of Caleb, Aaron and Cain. That would be my wish, to see them working together as a Dingle threesome and taking on people. It's always fun to do those kinds of scens, where you're nicking cars, avoiding the police and doing a bit of fighting."

This doesn't surprise me at all. Ormond is another up and coming female star who was the flavor of the month in the mid-'90s and then (like Gretchen Mol or Annabella Sciorra) her career vanished very, very fast. The next time I saw her again was in Inland Empire around a decade later when she began to recover a career in arthouse work.

Yes, even at the time I felt it was odd how Ormond just vanished. But back then I had no idea about Harvey Weinstein and the other creeps like him. But now I realize why she disappeared like that.
