Bradley's writing for both Stephanie and Brooke (the two examples in this thread) made them both into caricatures. Their dynamic was dynamite during the first years, but the writing got progressively worse and worse. It was only the fantastic rapport between SF and KKL that kept it going.

To be perfectly honest, I do think those who say that have a point. I don't think it's really desirable to have people in their late 70s or early 80s in such a demanding and stressful job.

I've just started "My name is Barbra". I'm on chapter seven, and she's just about to start recording her first album, and "Funny Girl" is waiting around the corner. So far it's been a great read.

I have a question: Let's say that Nikki Haley keeps going through a few more primaries and then finally drops out. Then, a few weeks later, Trump collapses and dies. What will happen then? Will they (the GOP) have to start the whole process from scratch?

I agree that it feels like there's more to this story than we know. I know that Brad Bell has a history of dropping stories and characters seemingly on a whim, but Taylor is not just any character. She's been a major part of the show for a majority of its existence, and a very popular one at that, with both actresses. So it seems odd, even for someone like Brad to just drop her like this out of the blue. Or maybe I'm giving Brad Bell too much credit.... Maybe he really is that stupid. 🤔

The last season of Falcon Crest was absolutely horrible, and it felt like a completely different show. With Maggie and Emma gone and Angela absent for most of the season there was a gaping hole in the show that the new characters could not possibly fill. Everything felt dark and disjointed, and frankly I was glad to see it end. Dynasty had a much better final season, thanks in no small part to Stephanie Beacham's Sable, who was a much better replacement for Krystle than Wendy Phillips' character (Lauren) ever was for Maggie on FC.
