  1. Similarly, Estelle Kendall on SFT was referred to as Aileen (played by Linda Cook in “flashbacks”) before Domini Blythe was introduced.
  2. I really enjoyed Ann as murderous Ella. Had the character not been as sadistic as she was, had SFT continued, I’d have loved to have seen her continue as a nasty nemesis to Jo and even Kate also, Ann’s old EON cast mate Maeve McGuire.
  3. She was Bitsy Davidson on AMC in the late 80’s, I think.
  4. You might also include Jaime Camil of JANE THE VIRGIN and several Spanish-language soaps/telenovelas.
  5. I had trouble copying the link. I wanted everyone to know about Rita.
  6. You are correct, although she spoke about Sarah being a foster child/adopted child. I have the episode; I should rewatch it.
  7. Did she? Mary Stuart writes in BOTH OF ME that Mary Ellis cried when she had to take Carl Low off contract. (He did recur for years though.) I don’t think she wanted Jo and Stu gone. Backburnered for Liza and her adventure stories, but not GONE. We can go after the execs (possibly MEB included) who wrote out Patti, Bruce, Eunice, Suzi, and Sarah (and never brought back Chris or Tracey) though. Matriarchs need families.
  8. For Rosemary? Or for profit? You decide.
  9. The collector was given these episodes by Rosemary Prinz to convert from tape to DVD. I wonder if she knows he’s trying to profit from this. I’ve had the best people send me DVD copies of vintage soap stuff for free and I was always so appreciative and was willing to cover shipping costs, blank DVD costs, etc. Most refused to accept. There is a kindness to share among collectors. I’m just turned off by the business aspect here. I’d love to see all his stuff. I won’t buy it though. Maybe I’m alone in feeling this way.
  10. I’m about to die laughing and pee my pants. And I’m at work. In white pants. Y’all killing me!
  11. I saw this when it aired originally in the 70s. Can’t wait to view it again! Thanks!
  12. You sound so…antagonistic. Please stop.
  13. It’s funny how random wanted Mattson back as Hope in the 90’s and beyond. However, I think they really wanted an out-for -revenge Hope (against Alan) as played by Robin (Heather Webber/Gina Caswell) Mattson. I seriously doubt her Hope would’ve been anything like her previous version, or Roussel’s. That said, if Don Stewart and Mart Hulswit had accompanied her back on the show, I would’ve bought it. BTW, does anyone know whatever happened to Stephen Yates after AW? I loved Ben McFarren and would’ve enjoyed a Ben/nuAmanda/Hope/Evie storyline in the 90’s.
  14. Lee Lawson, Bea, GL, Barbara, LOL, Wanda, OLTL
  15. I grew up believing Granny Matthews lasted a year and Janet five years, thanks to Robert LaGuardia’s books. According to Eddie Dreuding, Granny lasted a month and Janet two years. And this misinformation occurred basically only a decade after the premiere of the show. A decade later, Christopher Schemering would write that Agnes killed off all of Lipton’s characters (the Gregorys) in a plane crash. I mean, let’s just make stuff up since virtually nobody is going to contradict us! LOL. Reminds me of the Wiki on GL’s Cassie about 15 years ago—she was Bill Bauer’s daughter!
  16. I love you, Robb. You inspire me.
  17. THIS^^^ I remember this and thought it was a soap first for two heroines to compare identical storyline notes! All Springfield needed was a support group for women who gave away or “lost” children who popped up later as teens or adults. I’m talking Reva (twice), Harley, Vanessa, Selena (twice), Sarah, Jennifer, Olivia, Alexandra (twice)… How many did I miss? Once a month at Company. Buzz provides coffee and cronuts.
  18. I was mad. Now I’m sad. The bright, shining young talent that she was… https://ew.com/celebrity/anne-heche-coma-critical-condition-after-car-crash/?utm_campaign=entertainmentweekly_entertainmentweekly&utm_content=manual&utm_medium=social&utm_source=facebook.com&utm_term=62f196599fe1e80001c8e894&fbclid=IwAR3L2oGweYGILIQI6RjCMiyuIljZVWOU7XZUmg2jPnOouivYbbI80Ne-GJc&fs=e&s=cl
  19. The island. I’d pay anything to see Vienna again!
  20. I’m sure some soap lover with a DVD or BR player will gladly pay me thousands to take them off my hands! LOL
  21. I’ve got all the GL plus the German set from 1979. Not a B&B fan. i oughta sell and take a nice vacation to Illinois. See Oakdale and Springfield.
  22. Dear God! I’m sitting on a GOLDMINE!!! I have them ALL.
  23. For an MURDER? SHE GOT OFF!
  24. I hope Alan asks her about her roles on AW and TGL and ATWT. I’d prefer to hear about the good ol’ days than her Kim recast on DAYS.
