  1. Yes. We see it for a few years.
  2. The stories were often degrading to Donna, especially the Donna/Stacey/Michael stuff.
  3. Countries and leaders that benefit most from Trump. http://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2017/07/21/america-first-donald-trump-foreign-policy-215398
  4. I had to laugh at this Perry Mason promo. AW gets no respect even on their own network! Yes, Linda Dano had been on ATWT...12 years earlier. You can find a lot here, albeit in clips. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCtgQFFpLPDFeyt1b460_ZOQ
  5. Thanks for all these. I wonder if the Bunkhouse Boys book will have new material? Or is it just like a notepad? Poor Everett McGill having to answer questions when he hasn't been onscreen yet.
  6. This isn't Karen Morris Gowdy in the aspirin commercial is it? I don't think it is, just wondering.
  7. He'd still say it.
  8. Usually that means a show doesn't actually care about the plot. Unless as some think this is to push him into a pairing with Ringo. That guy he's with is hot as hell. They're silly not to keep him around.
  9. The sad part is I can't even care anymore. If they are that desperate, whatever.
  10. Yes. A part of me thinks they made a mistake not keeping her on, but then I think that that full level of crazy is best left on a short term basis and they were better off not trying to tone her down. I do think that they should have extended her story to have her more with Mason and Pamela. That whole story with Mason's mother and family should have been big but it never seemed to work out.
  11. Love this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rIssf__fSuo
  12. Thanks. Sorry about that. Last night I read it before taking a nap and someone said it was similar to what happened to Jimmy Carter. Clearly not if it got to his brain. Well I wish him the best.
  13. Thanks for all this. That last bit makes me laugh. It was nice of SDCC to have something for Miguel Ferrer (and I guess other actors who passed on this year).
  14. That article is a great example of why so many tune the NYT out. They repeatedly bury the meat of the article so they can have yet another aside sneering at Republicans, none of whom are going to be reading the article or anything in their paper or on their website. They still seem to have no idea who their audience is. There was obviously something so wrong with him at the hearing. Hopefully they found it in time for him to recover quickly.
  15. I'm glad he didn't bother with the pretense... So the Republicans in the House are going to try to force a vote on the 2015 repeal and Trump is trying to strongarm the Republicans in the Senate to repeal. I guess we'll see if they hold out. This may be when they decide to just cave in.
  16. Oh that's right I forgot she did those early on. I was thinking more about this week's episode. I guess Matthew Lillard is easier to get a hold of, although he must get tired of answering the same questions.
  17. The BBC has published the highest salaries of cast members. (Steve McFadden and Jake Wood likely aren't on there because they have been or were gone for a good while in the last year) http://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/eastenders/news/a833487/eastenders-best-paid-stars-revealed-bbc-report-casualty-stars-earn-more/
  18. Thanks for finding all these, as always. I wish I knew how to use Instagram. I wish someone would interview Amy Shiels or some of the people in bit parts, like the woman who played poor Miriam.
  19. That 1992 episode shows the balance they got so right at this time (they would start to lose it as 1992 got darker and darker), with the Margo and Tom family scenes. They were working long hours on the interminable Crawford case but we got to see them with the kids, having fun, being a bit silly, not taking themselves too seriously. I also really enjoy the Julie/Caleb/Angel melodrama in this one. Julie was always so dramatic and sometimes she could be very annoying, but I just loved her. And the fight she has with her sugar daddy, where he says he hopes when they break up she treats him as well as she treats all her exes, cracked me up. John just never fit with Iva. Whether it was a pairing to cause conflict with Lucinda or because the actors were involved, they never fit. I did enjoy John saying that they should marry because he could passed down all of Andy's old monogrammed clothes. Lisa Brown plays all that maudlin soapy stuff like a pro - it's one of the reasons I always felt for Iva. I still wish they'd just let her keep Aaron rather than giving him to a deadbeat loser.
  20. I notice that the main three GOP senators who publicly opposed the repeal bill were women. I guess it shows what will happen in politics when women are shut out and how women are probably the holding line for even more horrific things being passed. I was looking at this which had some of the Democratic response ads to the 1993-1994 "Harry and Louise" spots - they're really bad (the first one is especially smug). I guess they truly had no idea how close they were to losing Congress.
  21. This cracked me up.
  22. So the next step will be pushing for a full repeal. That will have the support of the likes of Mike Lee and Rand Paul, so it would only be about which faux-moderates would have to be strongarmed.
  23. I burst out laughing when I saw the Jacoby one. Real life is more of a parody than any fictional parody could ever be.
  24. Thanks for telling me where that scene was from. Sometimes I think that some of the fans who are most active in talking about the show may just not be on Lynch's wavelength or the wide generation gap comes into play. I saw some fans talking about how Janey took advantage of Dougie or that the scene was rape played for laughs. I didn't really take it that way (although I think we were maybe supposed to be a little uncomfortable). I hope there will be another twist with Diane as well. The fact that we never saw her actually text back is what makes me wonder if all isn't as it seems.
