  1. This is a kids show parody of EE. If it seems long it's because it's 5-6 segments from various episodes. The guy doing Arthur is great, and they manage to get the tone close enough (especially the "faaaamily" and the overly aggressive male character). Keep an eye out for who's playing Pauline.
  2. I wonder why they even did the rape story as it's clear they were never committed to it. I guess they just wanted an award.
  3. I was rolling my eyes when I saw some of the HO hashtags for him. #HereComesTrouble and #KingofSass and so many other cheesy, cheesy labels that don't really fit where the show is now. It doesn't have the social media fanbase it did when the world's hottest boyfriend batterer was still around. Even if they did, he'd still be unpopular, given that he's mostly just going around threatening to harm a pregnant girl and trying to turn a gay man straight for his vile cousin.
  4. Agreed. It's very sweet, especially how genuinely touched she is at the end. You don't get that on soaps now. She isn't on the same level of importance but I'm glad Emmerdale is going to have something similar to this for Betty soon.
  5. Oh I did mention the Ena/Elsie one. Thanks for the others.
  6. Elsie leaving, Hilda leaving, Martha dying, Alan Bradley dying, Hilda grieving for Stan, David Hillman and the Platts in the car, Blanche and the Barlows at the AA meeting, Ken choking Deirdre, Deirdre's "I didn't do any of it." Some of those did nothing for me (the Platt one mainly), I just had a tough time coming up with modern moments, and I sure as hell wasn't picking that tram crash [!@#$%^&*].
  7. Someone was asking around for iconic moments for each show, for some British soap thing they're doing. I gave them some of mine, but thought you all might be interested in listing some of yours. (in the appropriate threads I mean)

  11. Initially it was reported Alison was leaving altogether, much to the panic of some. I guess Alison knows she probably isn't getting a lot of other jobs at her age, even if she deserves them. I've always liked Lloyd but they've never known what to do with him. Sometimes I forget what a hot piece of ass Dennis was.
  12. I had that same thought too - the only part I wondered about was if she would have been able to do the wry humor as much as Jane did.
  13. Based on the ending Irna fought for, I can't help wondering if she actually did see them that way.
  14. The only way it would have made sense to me is if she'd been so out of it she couldn't remember, like Iva on ATWT. Even then it just feels silly to me...desperation. I get that Kat has no family to work with, but I wish they'd just recast Zoe instead. EE is consistently poor at bringing in young leading men, and a Sean recast will be no different.
  15. Thrilling isn't it? At least now we know why he always looked inbred.
  16. Some of it's really nice and classy (I like the part where they each sing about their background, and I like some of the medleys between John and Janice). It's some of the solo numbers that are just so bad - John's "I Write the Songs," and Janice trying to uptempo when her voice just doesn't suit it. I forget sometimes how handsome he was.
  17. This was taken down but seems to be back up again.
  18. I think there was some talk that they didn't think Acuna could play the dramatic AIDS story as that wasn't originally their purpose for Keesha. I'm not sure. Thanks for finding that clip with Janice Lynde. I've never seen any of Leslie's time in the institution. I can see why she got that glowing writeup in Daily TV Serials. She really is earthier than VIctoria Mallory. And thanks for putting up the new 1992 episodes. This was another video that person uploaded. It's so hilariously cheesy - those dancers, and John McCook...wow. Lawrence Welk would blanch. Janice isn't bad though.
  19. I agree to a point, but this money stuff with Bill tends to always drag them down and look questionable.
