  1. I love that set of bloopers! Still waiting for the very lengthy reel that appeared on WoST many years ago to pop back up somewhere. It's from 1984ish.
  2. Wow, Justin Hartley I had never heard that story about Chrishell's (middle) name before. JH had to know that he'd stir up just a little pot of [!@#$%^&*] with that reaction. It's not like his first wife is a random unknown that many of his fans don't know. Chelsea Handler is the worst. Shane McDermott doesn't look that bad, and yeah, it's a mugshot, but he looks old as hell.
  3. I agree with this. That arrangement of "The Look of Love" is just beautiful, especially over the end credits with the lovely head shots of each cast member. I think, in all of its perceived datedness, it struck a huge chord for a lot of men then and continues to do so for a lot of men now who aren't living in what many believe to be "better" times. Better in some aspects, sure, but to say that some of those stories told during the telephone game sequence are no longer valid is definitely false. I hate to say it, but I'd be down for an updated take on it.
  4. Currently watching on Britbox on Amazon Prime. Jay is flipping hot. I'm enamored. I thought he was annoying little sh!t when I watched regularly a few years ago.
  5. Gary Frank looks good, as far as we can see into that photo at least. I think he was dreamy as hell on the show, and Willie, for all his faults, was such a nice guy. I get so happy when I see things from Kristy. She's earned the happiness she has now, that's for sure.
  6. I'm pretty positive Pratt never wrote for Family...
  7. .........................why would you? You've established that you think it's awful. What reason do you have to keep watching at all?
  8. Roseanne and John Goodman both strike me as looking better than they have since the show went off the air. Rosey, especially, but they all look happy and ready to do this. So exciting!
  9. I tried Riverdale when it debuted and didn't stick with it, but I don't think I can really blame that on the show itself. I had too much going on at the time to keep up watching. Plus, it's considered one of their hits now, so I guess I don't have to worry about it not lasting. It would be nice to watch a pair of CW dramas regularly again.
  10. I just watched it, and I enjoyed it. If you were coming into this expecting anything other than about 85% CW and 15% original Dynasty, then you were destined for disappointment from the very start. I truly hate the fact that "reboot" has become a catch-all term for any and every time an older series comes back. This is a reimagining - a remake with huge and deliberate differences in tone, mood, etc. They absolutely should have called it something else and gave the characters new names to avoid any comparisons to the original series, but it is what it is. The pace was a lot more comfortable than I thought it would be, and I knew my girl Liz Gillies would deliver in the (lead?!) role of Fallon. In true CW fashion, she's the star of the show, and that's just one of those adjustments that, if you were expecting anything otherwise, then this probably just isn't for you. The one and only "Why is it not like the original?" nitpick is the location. I'm pissed that we're missing out on what could have been some gorgeous Denver cinematography, and yes, "Denver Carrington" just has that ring to it...
  11. I wasn't expecting to get into this like I have, but it's a bop!
  12. I didn't realize how male this show is until I saw that promo shot up there. Part of that is down to them changing Sammy Jo into a man, but I'm gonna need them to add more ladies because Cristal vs. Fallon wasn't enough in 1981, and it won't be enough now.
  13. I think that they, rightly, believe a revival would fit closer to the original vision of the show. The wacky Urkel character and all of his adventures would definitely not fly in today's TV landscape, but Urkel as the dorky-hot son-in-law who still gets into it with perpetually pissy Carl would be perfect. I loved Mother Winslow and Myra, but I don't think the show bombs without them at all. The cast looks GREAT, but that goes without saying. JoMarie Payton being the queen diva of the Winslow family like she always has been and always will be, Telma Hopkins remains one of the most gorgeous (and underrated) beauties in the history of TV and music, etc. They all look like they had a blast getting together.
  14. RIP, Liz Dawn. Vera had the most interesting voice of all Corrie characters, IMO.
  15. Yet Maree looks better than him!
  16. I follow him on Instagram, and like I stated a few weeks ago in a status update - I can NOT believe he is just a few years from 40.
  17. Much love to Eileen Fulton, and I trust she is doing well! She used to have a regularly updated website with a blog, but that folded not long before ATWT left the air.
  18. I think the work they did with Erica and Mark really stemmed from the fact that Erica needed someone other than Mona in her life to bounce her quirks off of and also a male figure who wasn't a potential love interest, a "guy" for her to be close to without the inevitable paring up. It's usually a pet peeve of mine when they write a long-lost sibling in as if they'd always been around, but it just made sense and worked with Mark. The best thing they could have done for Mark that they didn't do was make Josh his son.
  19. I've been pretty steadily making my way through HamiltonBernique's uploads, all of which are new to me, so my AMC urges are satisfied regularly. I've gone through some pretty big life changes recently, so being able to get back into AMC and discover some of its best years has been an invaluable coping tool. I love, love, love our show, man. I'll be 80 years old, and they'll still be on my mind. I think I established a few years ago that I truly believe Mark to be AMC's most attractive male star, period. He and SuLu were just SO gorgeous together, and yes, they matched each other so well as siblings. I would give my left leg to fully watch their heyday as PV's hot youngsters in the late 70s. Those pics from the disco say it all.
  20. Susan has posted on her Instagram account that Mark La Mura (Mark Dalton) has died. I'm not seeing it anywhere else, but her post is pretty recent (45 minutes ago), so I would assume we'll see more tomorrow. I'm very saddened by this - Mark, to me, embodied a lot of what made AMC such a fun, lively, and successful soap in the late 70s and early 80s, and of course, there were the more dramatic storylines written for the character later on. I'm very thankful Megan McTavish brought the character and actor back several times in her last stint.
  21. I'm rewatching the series from the beginning, and I'm more than halfway through season two, and I really, really, really feel bad for dismissing this season so much over the last 10 or so years. It's such a nice transition between the naivete of season one and the magnificent, pot-boiling melodrama of three, four, and five. There are several key episodes including "Careless Whisper," "Take My Breath Away," and the two-parters "Shout," "When Doves Cry," and "White Wedding." It's like the characters were still young, but the stories grew up a bit, and it's just very enjoyable. I completely forgot that they'd done an episode of Marco questioning his sexuality prior to the "Pride" 2-parter in season 3, and it was pretty well-done. That heartbreaking ending to "Take My Breath Away" with Craig telling Manny that he doesn't like her is one of those classic moments, and so, so delicious when you know how much drama they're going to have with each other later on. Toby had so much to do this season, and it's a shame they gave up on the character later. He could have brought in some good stories that were different from the rest of the show's pace.
  22. Thank you for being the light in this "Dark." ass tunnel! I was finished at "I don't like you."
  23. I never thought I'd enjoy the stuff with Erica on her own - not because it's Erica on her own but because I never really understood why they would isolate her the way they did, but after actually watching so much of it, it made so much sense and had a lot to do with her becoming the legendary character she became. She was sooooo much more than podunk ol' PV ever could handle. She was the big glamorous stahhh, and it made her coming home that much juicier because of the development she went through while away. She would've never become that character had she always stayed in town.
  24. And I get extremely pissed when I remember how she won over Debbi Morgan that one year. Ol' joke ass awards.
  25. Did any of y'all see this? Amazing! Also, it looks like the first four seasons of TNG have been officially uploaded to YouTube. I'm about to rewatch the FCK out of these!
