  1. Did anyone else think that big giant thing would come out of the water as a zombie thing? Please don't be to bowled over by my intense technical termination.
  2. Alvin, Carley Stenson has a video on that channel as well. I would never have suspected in a million years that he could sing. This shows me that Lee is really just all wrong for him. That video showed he could make me care, much more than his horrible angry emoticon faces he makes on the show.
  3. She did, but not on purpose.
  4. Sinead/Rhys? Since when were they related?
  5. Her personality is literally, "I'm a c*nt DIVA!" Not cute.
  6. A random thought. I think Nicole Walker from DAYS would be a great landlady of the Rovers. Written at her best, with the many dark wounds of her past, the world always seemingly against her, she's sort of similar to the great Bet Lynch.
  7. The Hero syndrome story with Josh has been my favourite since I started watching. One of the best stories I've ever seen from start to finish. What are the details about the Capgras storyline?
  8. That's why I love Rachel. She is a true modern woman. Not wanting kids of her own, keeping her maiden name after getting married, being a fabulous boss QUEEN. If this was a US soap she would be a psycho villain or some such trash. Shorty is just such a breath of fresh air. Even now with this Alex story. It's being told so delicately and honestly. It's made me think what this show would do if they ever tackled a D.I.D (Dissociative Identity Disorder) story. Have they ever before? It would certinaly be much different then what we're used to getting as soap fans. And yes, I was talking about getting Curtis into the porn industry. Sorry for being such a shameless hussy.
  9. A fitting send off for Betty. I am so happy we got that Seth moment. Having her new beau be a look-a-like was cute. Carl, do you know who else was there when Seth was buried, other than Laurel and Alan?
  10. I yearn for the day they make Tyler get a haircut.
  11. The same Gabrielle that had an affair with Chris and was my beautiful Lana's sister? She was before my time. Were you a fan? Was she popular? I forgot to tip my hat to you for your previous post and the "catastrophic event that continues to have repercussions to this very day!" There are points I just want to go mad, but whenever he reads Chris like a book it almost (very, very slightly) makes up for it. I also thought it was a nice small moment when Pixie (I think) asked him if he wanted to be a doctor someday like his Dad and he replied with an unsure, "Maybe." Already setting the seeds ... Soaps don't do much of that anymore.
  12. She is my favourite character, but that was an amazing Hell Yeah! moment. I also admit to becoming giddy (I literally clapped in glee) when Tyrion met Dany. I will be devastated if Melisande somehow convies Stannis to kill his daughter. I'm guessing his fish wife will end up sacrificing herself to do the deed. Does anyone else laugh when someone says Winter is Coming? Pull the other one, show.
  13. Rachel: Lucy, my brother Jonathan is gay. He tried heterosexuality for a time and it didn't work. Now he's gay all the time. This show just kills me sometimes.
  14. We can only hope. Alfie has been drowning her for years.
  15. The screencap of the arcticle on Susan's twitter states that she's leaving at the end of the year. This big summer story gype us me a mess of nerves. Let's all hope for the best.
  16. Why do you think they'd kill Leyla and not Alicia? I fear more for the latter biting it. Not because I like Alicia more (I don't), but because I feel confident that Leyla is one of Oates' big favourites. She did bring her back after all. I hope a David/Leyla reunion isn't on the cards. If they go there I could maybe get used to it again, but to me it would just feel like the characters would be going backward and not forward. A retread. I get enough of that on EastEnders. I don't have ideas on any future pairings for either though.
  17. I'll be sad to see her go, but I love so much about Emmerdale these days it won't hit too hard. Her first couple of years on the show were rough. Leyla's character got hit hard and it merely felt like Alicia was nothing but a replacement, a placeholder. Of course, there was rarely ever anything to praise under Blackburn's noxious tenure. It wasn't until she returned from prison for punching someone in the face (who knew that could happen on a soap?) and returned under Kate Oates' renergized pen that she was anything much to watch. The Priya/David/Alicia triangle was dynamite and it culminated in a classic soap opera wedding that David and Alicia truly earned as characters. I just hope she doesn't leave poor David in the dire straights that Leyla did.
  18. As great as that video was, I hope you'll getting to posting your thoughts on the episode eventually. I like reading both sides of the coin.
  19. The goats in the background made that clip so much more amazing. Has anyone ever asked Charley Webb why she's so against to getting a hair cut? She needs a new look.
  20. I'm not her biggest fan, but up against Jai and The Dingles and how horribly they've treated her, I'm rooting for her all the way.
  21. 1) I think you are watching the day ahead episode so I cannot help you until tomorrow. 2) You are so bad with names, LoL. Dodger hasn't been on the show since January. And yet, you remember every sordid, intricate detail from the GoT books like your life depended on it.
  22. More Sally praising ... That little moment where she stopped Tim from wasting too much wine on basic fish Anna killed me. She pleases me so.
  23. I wasn't expecting anymore that 12 anyway. All I need is that premiere date so I know when to start binge watching the series again.
  24. I don't she how Kieron was being obnoxious. Him and James Sutton were just having a laugh/a bit of banter. It shows how close and comfortable they are working together. In fact, I was impressed that he was so self-aware about how awful Ste has been. I did find it funny that they alluded to both of them sleeping with others, but keeping their names a secret as if it wasn't obvious that it would by JP/Lockie and Ste/Scott. Unless this show pulls another Grace, which was a great twist. Tonight's episode was pretty good except for two things. Seeing Patrick win again for the billionth time is tiring. Knowing what it leads to I can only hope this is end. It's just such a shame since Maxine got to show a small sliver of her old self before being put back in the victim box. And the worst is the soon to be death of Phoebe. Her inital homeless/human trafficking story with George was brilliantly spear headed by the underrated gem that was Emma Smitchwick. Her friendships with George and Lanie, how she was one of the few who stood up for Esther during her bullying, and how well she fit into the McQueen family makes her careless death all the more enraging. I raise a (hypothetical) glass to the great 2012, the last time the show still felt whole.
