  1. Ricky was kind of a hottie back then. Is it the same actor?
  2. Do you when the Freshers crowd should be debuting on the main show?
  3. Do we know why Becca was/is so possessive of Stacey?
  4. Well, last nights episode I was on the edge of my seat with Maisie getting all the pieces in place, and Brenda crashing Katie's birthday party was hilarious. However, I'm saddened by the way the show is handling the Eve character. It felt as if she was going to be this man hating-man eating bitch, so now that she is suddenly felling "guilt" over this thing with Carl it's getting on my nerves. Plus, I just don't understand what they're doing with Carl. Are we just supposed to buy that he's a cheating pig, because he isn't showing an ounce of remorse for cheating on Chas. And actually, he seems to be proud of himself. I just don't get it. And then there's this Marlon/Paddy/Rhona triangle, which I just don't like either.
  5. Speaking of love interests, is it just me, or does Alice Coulthard have chemistry with every man on the show? When she was in that scene with Sam yesterday, a strong part of me felt like they were about to make out. Though, I admit, that may say more about me then it does about her. LoL
  6. If only he was the same way with Kieron or Guy Burnett!
  7. The difference between having the veteran characters front and center as opposed to the dull newbie's is so jarring in quality.
  8. Who does he play? ETA: Looked it up. Yes, I did see him playing Lou's doctor. That was a very weird finale Tuesday night. I can't wait to see what they'll do with the last season. Of course, we're going to have to wait 10 months. LoL
  9. I like where the show is going with Liz having feelings for Bob, I hope Bob ends up reciprocating them and not falling for Hazel. Plus, I don't want some Hazel/Bob relationship affecting Viv's friendship with her. It's helped the character quite a bit, I don't want to get rid of that. Where the hell is Diane at? I want Nicola and Jimmy out of the pub already. And Victoria? Shouldn't the summer be when the teenagers are used the most? Lame. That female copper should pull a Claire Howell on Ryan. She clearly wants to.
  10. The past few episodes have been pretty good, obviously barring any waste of time where Duncan and Cheryl are involved. Was it just me or did Darren actually manage to kind of make Jem somewhat likable. That was a clear chemistry test, IMO. This cancer story is the only real story on this show and it shows because the biggest bright spot the show has. Though, I am enjoying the Cindy SL as well. Dave/Charlotte/India are must watch as well. The actors and characters are just very likable, but Texas is another in a huge heap of dull lifeless characters/actors on this show. She's another huge fail. I hope Dave's exit is open ended. The O'Conners were alright in their first episode. Nothing to complain about yet.
  11. Reading Suffield's little article on DS, it feels as if this bitch will never leave. For an abrupt firing, they sure are taking their damn time getting rid of her.
  12. Is this just a Santer leftover or is this purely Kirkwood?
  13. Was Sam being pregnant something the viewers already knew?
  14. I watched them a bit ago. But mostly, Jack signs Emmerdale Farm over to his family with Joe/Annie/Peggy/Wilks all getting a share. He chooses to just be a silent partner. Peggy has her baby. Alison and Wilks get engaged. And, the Sugdens find out Sharon was murdered and have a funeral for her. Oh, and Trash's daughter (Penny) comes to town. She finds out of her dad's death in her second episode, I think. Joe takes a liking to her. The family fears history (Marian) will repeat itself as Jack flirts with her. Penny is a love all, hate nothing almost hippy like character. So Joe thinks he's lost out again, but she makes it clear to him that she likes him too. Then Jim Latimer returns to town. As Penny is now helping Jack fix up his place (the one where he let Trash live with him) Jim frequents it to help her. Details are kind of sketchy for me now. I know Jim ends up trying to attack Peggy at one point but I forget if something more happens to her. And the Verneys leave town together. Hopefully someone will put a torrent up of the DVD's soon. I'll cross my fingers for you both.
  15. Wow, that royally sucks for you guys. Thankfully, I got to watch them all. Bitchiness not withstanding.
  16. So this fire ... this week or next?
  17. Like I said, I probably feel this way because this show has no innocent ingenue. I love my Jennifer Hortons and my Jenny Woleks. Plus, I have yet to find a character that I feel is mine! When I get that, I'll be more emotionally connected to the show I'm sure.
  18. Not a chore at all. I'm falling in love with the show. Being a former watcher of Days of our Lives, I can tell you that I would not watch if I did not enjoy. Nothing is worth that pain. I do admit there aren't a lot of characters I can say I absolutely love, but the strong writing and acting (for the most part, of course there's always a few dolts) have kept me in it. Like most other shows, I haven't really found that character that makes me light up instantly when they are on screen. The transition doesn't help that. Plus, there are some characters I just could never like, because historically, I never have. (Heather, Phil) But maybe that's wrong of me. Maybe it's wrong to try and find a favourite?
  19. I wasn't complaining per say, about the bitchiness, but man, there are no innocent heroines on this show. I like me a good natured soul from time to time. And the second part doesn't need to be said. That's just common sense.
  20. Honestly, what woman on this show isn't bitchy? I find all of them have their time.
  21. What do you think the chances are of someone dying in the Vic fire that hasn't been announced as leaving the show? For some reason, I keep feeling like they're building Heather to die. Or maybe that's just wishful thinking. That scene where Max let down his guard with Vanessa was very well done. It got me a little choked up. When is the new Lucy supposed to air? I'm surprised they didn't just recast Peter as well. Even though I knew she would find out about the abortion, I wasn't expecting it in this particular episode, so it hit me like a ton of bricks juts like it hit Jane. I felt for her for the first time tonight. Can anyone explain to me though why Zsa Zsa thinks she has any right to run her mouth? STFU you stupid cow.
  22. Brendan is a huge FAIL and I blame the actor completely. He's about as menacing as kitten. And, this Jacqui/Rhys story is extremely forced. Plus, Jacqui is too big of a character for Rhys, Darren would be more her equal. Rhys would be better with Nancy. This Texas chick is another bland, dull and lifeless character. She brings India/Dave/Charlotte down. But man, when watching their scenes, it's so hard not remember the glory days of Kris/Zak/Zoe/Jess.
