  5. "I don't mean to sound funny, but I don't eat foreign." Line of the night! I was getting misty eyed during the Zainab/Syed scenes. One step closer, two steps back. EE is always great for me when the Masoods are front and centre. However, I feel the actor that plays Tamwar is quite limited, unfortunately.
  6. Jon, the bastard son, is the sexy one. The incredibly sexy one. That's how I remember.
  7. After watching it, my favourite character so far is the "bastard" son. Plus, I find the actor to be really hot so ... Does anyone else find it weird watching Mark Addy as the King after knowing him from Still Standing? It'll take some getting used to for me. That evil blonde haired brother who gave away his sister is SUCH a little toad. That line about giving her up for 40,000 men, etc, was shocking and gross. However, Jason Mamoa (a.k.a hottie #2743 from Baywatch) isn't the worst guy to have to "please." I want a fox! LOVED the kid getting pushed out the window (or whatever it was called in those days)! He didn't annoy me at all, but he is a child so I'll expectantly be quite pleased if he dies, but I don't see that happening. His sister is another of my early favourites so far as well. A young Joan of Arc. I usually stay away from shows like this because of the expected misogyny, so I hope they use her well. As for what I found gross. The beheadings were tame. Not even horror movie grotesque. It was the blowjob scene with Peter Dinklage that made me want to throw up! I also really like the guy that pushed the kid out of the window. He's amusing. A nice change from all the seriousness.
  8. I apologize if this has already been discussed but I was wondering if there was any online footage of Joan Fontaine guesting on the show as Paige Williams? If not, does anyone know what her brief story was?
  9. The actor seems like the John Paul Lavoisier of UK soap. Was he ever actually good? Won't be sad to see that shrew leave. As for Kylie, I kind of enjoy her!
  10. When I looked at the picture, I was all, "Who the hell is this Trevor non-entity?" Then I read your post and the "A-ha!" moment came. That's around the time I was a newbie to regularly watching OLTL. From what I remember, they were kind of annoying, but I, if memory serves, like their relationship over Starr/Cole, Starr/James, because the show had yet to force some heroine hallow on her.
  11. This is terrible news. Eve (because of Suzanne Shaw) had the potential to be one of Emmerdale's great characters. I have always thought they should have paired her with Nathan. Them vs. the village (the world) kind of deal. Edna's part would be truly interesting, if done correctly. Sad.
  12. If she leaves Greg, I'ma punch her in the twat. Stefan Booth is easily the hottest guy that has ever stepped foot in Walford.
  13. Well, Gareth Philips is off to a boring, lifeless, absolutely useless start.
