A poster on TWoP mentioned how he thought Derek would rape Lisa and with today's episode where he basically uttered her name every other word that seems to have major merit with me. At least it wouldn't be an affair Okay, I have to say it. Amy has HUGE breasts. They steal every scene they're in. What the hell happened to Victoria? Where is she? How sad that after Viv is killed off, presumably, there will only be two characters left that were actually there for the plane crash. I've never seen a show gut it's fabric the way Emmerdale has. Anyway, I don't understand why they never went the Terry/Viv route. SOULMATES! However, Betty, as always, saves the day. I can watch her do anything for hours. Chas needs to take a vacation if she's constantly going to be having a go at Andy. And my God, Declan's dad is just is terrible. The worst I've seen on this show.

Today was a bit ... boring.

I wasn't grilling you, I was genuinely curious. I know about Joanne (Y&R) and Sharon Duval (DooL), but those two were confused/conflicted.

A good episode tonight. I would love it if the twist to this Katie being stalked story was that it was Gennie the person was after. I want to see her in a damn story! Good to see Scarlett and Chas are still on good terms. I used to find the Amy chick annoying, but she's slowly growing on me. Plus, she's the reason Eric has a story so I'm just going to take what I can get. The whole Jacob SL I could care less about. It all seems pointless to me. I guess tonight started Doug's exit SL. Maybe he leaves with a lady friend? It seems my worst fears about this Derek/Lisa thing are going to come true. But again, it's just nice to them being something other than props.

I really hope Lucy Pargeter is a finalist nomination for the BSA's this year. Do you (general) think anyone else deserves a nomination this year?

You should be thanking Wikipedia. It really all matters how they pursue the stuff with Eric, but I wouldn't hate him being a murderer. I only started watching in 2009, but Eric used to be a villainous type that has melted with old age, LoL. Seeing his darker side could be interesting. I agree with you about Andy/Katie. Andy deserves much better than Katie, who never knows what she wants. She's one of those people who gets bored easily and is never happy. Very indecisive. Like Carrie from Sex and the City.

Regarding Elizabeth, he wanted her dead because she threatened to go to the police because Eric framed her son, Michael, for cheque fraud. When the plane crash hit, Elizabeth died. BUT, it has never been revealed if Eric killed her and blamed the crash or not. That's the whole mystery. Dee De La Cruz, Eric's bride from the Philippines, eventually got tired of his business woes and paranoia and left him, leaving him suicidal. Do you want Andy/Katie to reunite, Ben?

I've picked the show back up. My little hiatus was certainly necessary, but Eric actually having a story, one where Chris Chittel proves why he,s been around for years, is worth any Jackson crap. Though I did manage a laugh when Paddy and Hazel started dancing and all he could do was yell! Hilarious. What I didn't understand was Diane being so angry at Chas for starting that row with Eve in the pub. If anyone knows what it's like to be cheated on, it's her. She should have sympathized with her and banned Eve indefinitely or something.

I love Chas and all, but tearing down Andy was not f*cking cool. Shut your trap, bitch! And Katie was such a bitch tonight. Andy DOES deserve better. I'm glad he knows that. Why the hell did they turn Adam into such an assh*le. The reason his character was a hit was because he's was the good guy. Now he's seems like a huge prick. DUMB! However, I hope the show is teasing me with Scarlett maybe leaving. That would be heaven since the actress is terrible.

I enjoyed that Carol saved Conor, if only for showing that she's a fierce bitch standing up to Phil. Plus, this whole relationship is very dark and incestuous, and that entertains me. It's almost like something out of a Atom Egoyan film. Man, Kirkwood made such a good decision in keeping Gillian Wright. She's really just completely spellbinding. I wish Ricky would fight to help Janine more. I don't know if it would be historically accurate or whatever, but I hope he didn't disown her as well. The girl obviously needs to be sectioned. Speaking of Ricky, I wonder if they'll give him anything to do while Patsy Palmer is on leave. I hope so. Next to Max, he's my favourite male character.

I watched both Friday's and today's episodes and they were just such a chore to get through. What is Tracy supposed to be? I can't even consider her a villain because she's written like a clown. Literally. And to have Claire cry under the exact same circumstances in back to back episodes just made her seem weak. And the way Tracy's family just acts like she stole a twenty from Gail's purse annoys the crap out of me. "Oh you murdered someone, you're so silly. You silly goose. What will we do with you?" Huh? Ridiculous. And the rest of the stories? Fiz I could never stand the sight of. Probably the most annoying character of all time. This John Stape story is just bizarre. "I'm a murderer, how do I get myself in these crazy hijinks?" And though I like that Sally still gives it to Kevin, she shouldn't have a say in what Sophie wants to do. She's old enough to make her own decisions. And Steve? "Oh my life is hell, let's do a jig?" What the hell is wrong with these characters? All cartoons.

Lucy Pargeter was brilliant tonight. The MVP scene was easily Paddy telling her that even though she broke his heart, she was still a good person and deserved to be happy. It was lame though how Eve got off so easy. Not even a slap? The hell? That's one problem Emmerdale has sometimes, it's too tame. Seeing Eric treated as a character is very refreshing. Chris Chittell transitions his emotions so easily. I can't wait for more of this story. One thing I am surprised about though is that both Sam and Diane were in episode but had absolutely no lines. Worse, Diane was just in the background. Weird. The Macey add ons don't work for me. Mia is alright, but the father is annoying all get out. Edna as a character also flourished tonight, both in that scene with Eve where she tells her she'll stand by her even though she doesn't condone what she has done and then right after tells Chas she hopes all the best for her. If they make Andy the stalker, the nonsensical raping of Sugden family will continue. Although, if Andy could still be a viable leading man (and I think he is) after planning to kill his brother, killing his mother (accidentally) and beating his wife, then maybe this really wouldn't ruin him at all. LoL

Wikipedia says Scarlett is exiting in January? Any truth to this? (I hope so.)

One very small moment I thought was really well done that wasn't mentioned was Kim lighting up when she saw Denise enter the choir in support after Patrick had told Denise Kim needs her just as much as she needs Kim. Very subtle and poignant, IMO.

The look on Janine's face at the end was just excellent. She looked like she found religion. Bye bye Stacey! I wish that Max and Stacey scene was longer. Damn Ryan for breaking it up. I was on the verge on tearing than that loser had to show his face!
