Kandi doesn't need another spin-off. They need to save all this drama for the main show. I think it would be foolish to spin this off. At the very least I'd do a two hour wedding episode, but keep it as RHOA.

This season I'm just so disgusted with Brandi. I'm not offended by anything she's said, but I'm just over her. She's far too crass. I'm no lady, but dayum. She is just so gutterbutt. At least try to be clever when being naughty. She's very juvenile and I'm over her. Carlton's hilarious with her hatred of Kyle, I'm still loving Yolanda and most importantly, I look at this season as a good comeback for the Richard's sisters. I'm not hating Lisa, but she's being a little too bitchy for my taste and is not doing anything of interest. Joyce is a basic bitch, but I'm still giving her a chance.

When I watch ATL I'm satisfied, but I find it very forgettable as soon as it's over. I need more interesting dynamics within the girls. I LOVE that these franchises are going back to showing us their day-to-day lives and families, but I still need interesting bonds among the ladies.

I sense it will get better, but these episodes seem like treading water. Cynthia's storylines this season are just boring. It's repetitive and this time I don't find myself caring. Porsha is unwatchable since she's overused the Kordell stuff. On her own she simply isn't interesting, although her sister is FABULOUS and needs to be a soap star. Then you have Nene in one episode per week and Kandi and Phaedra are the only ones performing. It's obvious nobody wants to film with Kenya. She's just off looking like a damn fool until another forced group meeting gives her the chance to cause trouble.

Atlanta is a snoozefest this season with the same cast. I never bought the chemistry of this group last season and this year they're really stretching. Once again, Nene is an extra and she can't cause any conflict because she's friends with Cynthia and doesn't care about the rest. It's very telling that her main conflict comes from MARLO later in the season. Kenya is too cartoonish for them to pin all their hopes on. I like some of the individual scenes, but overall the show is forgettable this year. I'm watching only for Kandi and Phaedra this year. Nene's one scene a week is good, but not enough.

I read a tweet that LuAnn was a "Friend" this season, but I don't think that could possibly be true. I expect the new housewife to be an actual wife. She's too high profile not to be.

I can't wait to see Aviva to return in full-on bitch mode. It was *so* obvious last year that she had no awareness of how she was behaving. In all her pre-show interviews and even as things progressed she defended everything she did and still thought the other ladies were in the wrong. It wasn't until AFTER the first vacation episode aired that she started to apologize, AFTER everybody called her out for acting nuts. At the reunion she looked like she wanted to stab each and every housewife as she repeated her obviously-rehearsed "apologies." It was hilarious because I remember Ramona and Sonja GOING IN and she just looked like she wanted to kill them, but she still stuck with her line of apology.

The RHONY teaser was definitely too short, but there is still quite a bit of time before it's premiere. My guess is that they're starting earlier with promo since it's been away for so long. I hope they get new opening credits as well considering the hiatus. I can't wait to hear the premiere date. Considering where RHOBH and RHOA are, I'd say the earliest it could replace one of those would be in March. Since it's been so long my guess is that they will launch it following another HW series for a boost. Maybe once Vanderpump Rules wraps they'll air it after Beverly Hills. I predict that Married to Medicine is going to take over after ATL leaves. I still am enjoying Beverly Hills. I liked that this episode was mostly normal old school housewives stuff. One thing that killed Miami for me was that each episode seemed to need a party or event to gather the women together. Sometimes it's okay to just show their homelife and have 2-3 person scenes that show their developing friendships. I definitely think they're handling this reboot very well. I'm still not sold on Joyce, but overall I think this is okay.

Twitter is buzzing about a RHONY promo that aired during Courtney Loves Dallas. I hope this means they'll update the website and have the supertrailer/release date soon. Joyce grew on me with that HILARIOUS hair flipping fight with Lisa. I love her now. Carlton has had my heart and continues to. I loved how silent she was when everyone was arguing, but then Joyce started in about the hair flip and she was like "BITCH ARE YOU SERIOUS?!?!" I just love her. I can't wait until she puts a spell on Kyle's tired ass. This season is EXCELLENT. Just what I needed after that horrible season 3 and the darkness from Russell committing suicide. Beverly Hills is BACK! I feel like they have a good cast and things are developing and setting up nicely. Compare it to New York's reboot and how long it took for them to gel. Hell, this doesn't even feel like a reboot although we do have two new wives, one newbie (Yolanda) and we lost some high profile characters (Faye, Taylor, Adrienne, Camille). Their producers get major props from me.

Now Lisa blogged that she feels like an idiot in regards to the Joyce situation. Joyce was responding to her based on multiple conversations she'd had with Yolanda and Brandi and Lisa said she played it off due to loyalty. Now she wishes she had listened to her and opened her eyes before she was blindsided.

The main reason I'm annoyed by the lack of black cast members, is because for black gay people, we really have very little in terms of an on screen image. I would've loved a more diverse cast for something like this. That was the highlight of DTLA for me, the racially diverse cast. Oh well, I guess I will stick to Noah's Arc on Netflix! No interest in a gay version of Girls with the same issues.

That is the way guys text when trying to set something up. Why else would he be texting her? Like she said, I thought Apollo hated her? What happened to all that mess he said on the show? He was horny and wanted some, but unfortunately she wasn't in Atlanta. Not only that, but these texts start at almost 10pm. He is just a mess LOL! Dayum, actually, since she was on California time that means he was texting her at 12:46am!! Again, what does Phaedra's stupid ass husband want at that hour? To talk business? We know he doesn't work so that couldn't be it!

W-O-W, Apollo was clearly trying to smash. I know game and I'm sorry, but it's obvious from these texts that he was thirsty and trying to make something happen with Kenya. She's not even biting in the texts! Wow! Not only did he initiate them, but he made it so obvious! Wow! I wonder how Phaedra REALLY feels. I know she seems pissed on screen, but I imagine off screen she is REALLY pissed. Years ago on the SoapChat.net forums, somebody posted a scan of a TV Guide interview where Leann Hunley confirmed the "static acting" mandate and said thats why she quit. I think David Paulsen would've done great things with Dana, as we saw in that one or two episodes she appeared in. Such a shame she left just as the show got good.

Not at all. David Paulsen came from Dallas and didn't even get to watch all of Dynasty and he created their best season in years. I think he said he watched the first two years plus the most recent season and as he tried to continue he had the same issues many viewers has. The problem with Dynasty is that the people in charge were too ego driven to care. They wrote those first two seasons, which were fabulous, but they were also the only reason the show became so bad. From the stilted acting that caused Leann Hunley (and others I'm sure) to leave, to the focus on glamour and absolutely ZERO focus on storylines.

After my long break, I've resumed my viewing with the middle of season 6. I'm currently in the first part of season 7 and this show is just unwatchable. I find it so hard to get through these episodes. You have a huge cast and NOTHING makes sense. I have no idea how they're getting from point A to point B. The acting sucks, the characterizations make no sense and there are plot holes galore. I know it at least had some fun campy moments and I need that to happen. The Amanda recast is one of the worst in soap history. She looks old and is COMPLETELY different. Not only is she American, but her she comes off very hard and doesn't look believable as a rich heiress. She doesn't wear those clothes like they belong to her, she wears them like an uncomfortable man. Worst of all she cannot act AT ALL. That innocent wistfulness is gone. The only entertaining moment was them recreating the season 6 cliffhanger catfight with Karen Celleni.

Why does Bravo keep segregating these casts? They have a new show that is basically The Real Housewives of New York City: Black Edition. Why not filter one or two of these ladies into that stale New York cast? Other than the returns of RHONY and Married to Medicine, I'm most looking forward to Ladies of London, which is basically The Real Housewives of London, but not called that. I can't wait to see what kind of cast they come up with for that.

I actually do believe the Phaedra Apollo drama and I feel more went on between Kenya and Apollo than we're being told. I don't think they kissed or had sex, but I believe they were texting each other and that inappropriate things were said. I absolutely believe that. Kenya doesn't want to be seen as a homewrecker so I don't think she'll reveal it because in order to do that she'd have to show that she was complicit as well.

Kandi and Kenya also confirmed Marlo for this season. Marlo actually has a contract so Bravo won't be paying her for nothing. She's in the promo photos that Bravo released, from a trip the girls took where Lexis will also appear. And of course the big fight with Kenya and Nene later in the season.

I hate that they reminded me of DC with that article. The DC ladies weren't boring or guarded, they just weren't stupid and crazy. Had they taken the 4 sane housewives and added one or two new ones, they could've had a successful series out of the shadow of the White House stuff. The main reason they were so quick to let it go is because they were coming off of Beverly Hills being a breakout series and they probably thought they could continue in that mold. In the long term it was stupid to cancel DC.
