  11. Unfortunately, because the website and the message boards are two different systems there is no way to limit the website comments to just board members. I could force people to register with a Disqus account before they can post on the comment section, but comments in general are down drastically on articles that it wouldn't be worth it. As it is, I recently opted to stop paying the hefty fee to Disqus ($1260/year) just to not show ads in the comment section since there weren't enough posts to justify the cost. I've tried cross-referencing the limited IP data I have from Disqus with what we have on the SON Community but the person is likely using a VPN since the IP addresses keep changing. My hope is that by sharing some of the posts that have been deleted or flagged will shed light on the language used by the person that someone might possibly recognize them.
  12. If anyone thinks they can help with this situation, please step forward. I'm getting sick of having to delete these messages. (Examples Removed) This is clearly someone who is very aware of the history of the SON Community, dating back several years as they make reference to long-forgotten posters and any issues that happened during a specific era.
  13. As expected, newcomer Sawandi Wilson (“Star Trek: Discovery”) has joined the cast of “General Hospital” as a contract player. He first appeared on the Monday, August 26 episode of the ABC drama series. According to the end credits shown on Friday, September 6, Wilson’s character’s full name is Dr. Isaiah Gannon, a last name familiar to fans of the defunct “One Life to Live,” leaving many questioning if the character has ties to Llanview. Thus far, the character had been imprisoned at the same refugee camp as Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson), but later escaped and made his way to Port Charles. Shortly after leaving the airport, Isaiah found himself hit by a car during a struggle between Linda Boyle (Amor Owens) and Ava Jerome (Maura West). He was later transported to General Hospital thanks to Jason (Steve Burton) calling for emergency services. Steve Burton, Sawandi Wilson Christine Bartolucci/Disney Since arriving in the hospital, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) has been keeping a watchful eye on Isaiah, which has caused further fan speculation that the character has connections to Port Charles beyond meeting Lucky, or the greater ABC Daytime shared universe (ABCD-U) consisting of Llanview (“One Life to Live”), Pine Valley (“All My Children”), New York City (“Ryan’s Hope”) and Corinth (“Loving”). Isaiah is the first all-new character introduced by the show’s head new writing team led by Elizabeth Korte and Chris Van Etten, and associate head writer Cathy LePard. With the addition of Wilson, “General Hospital” had 34 actors on contract as of the September 6, 2024 closing credits. However, with Adam J. Harrington (John “Jagger” Cates) exiting the series after his character was killed off in recent episodes, that number will soon drop to 33. That said, there are also reports that Charles Messure (Brennan) has been upped to contract status, but change has yet to materialize per the show’s current credits breakdown. Last week, it was reported that Kristen Vaganos had been upped to contract status, marking the first time that her character, Molly Lansing-Davis, has appeared on screen with her portrayer credited as a regular cast member. Simultaneously, Jonathan Jackson’s name appeared in the credits for the first time since 2015, with his character said to be having a long run in Port Charles this time around, albeit when the character formally arrives in town after remaining a captive at the refugee camp. Before joining “General Hospital,” Wilson was best known for playing Captain Leto in the 10th episode of the fifth and final season of the Paramount+ original series “Star Trek: Discovery.” His other TV credits include “High Maintenance,” “Quantico,” “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit,” “Date. Love. Repeat.,” “Bull,” “The House of Flowers,” “Harlem” and even the Prime Video series “Dudes,” among others. 14. I re-checked the CBS press release on CBS Mornings Plus and they do indicate the following as the headline: In the body of the PR it says: Now, although they indicate 9:00 a.m. ET in the body, the entire press release opens with it being a 9:00 a.m. hour, so it can be presumed that the show will also air at 9:00 a.m. PT, however, they don't outright say it. Therefore, I may have misunderstood it? I've sent out an inquiry and will get back to you on what I learn.
  15. Agreed. Currently, "CBS Mornings" is carried twice on KCBS (CBS2) in Los Angeles, first simulcasting the East Coast broadcast from 4:00-6:00 a.m., and then again from 7:00-9:00 a.m. with the local news airing from 5:00-6:00 a.m. I've sent an inquiry. Will update when I have more.
  16. On Monday, December 9, “Guiding Light” alum Taye Diggs (“All American,” “How Stella Got Her Groove Back”), Chris Jones (3x Super Bowl Champion, Kansas City Chiefs), Tyler Posey (“Teen Wolf”), Bruno Tonioli (“Dancing with the Stars”) and James Van Der Beek (“Dawson’s Creek,” “Varsity Blues”) will join Anthony Anderson (“black-ish”) in baring it all to help raise awareness for prostate, testicular and colorectal cancer testing and research in an all-new primetime special airing on FOX. Titled “The Real Full Monty,” which is inspired by the beloved, award-winning 1997 film, the two-hour special will see the male celebrities train and rehearse for the most revealing performance of their careers, as they seek to encourage men to get themselves checked out by stripping the stigma around prostate, testicular and colorectal cancer. Anderson, who also executive produces the special, will lead Diggs, Jones, Posey, Tonioli and Van Der Beek toward their big strip-tease dance, choreographed by Emmy Award-winner Mandy Moore (choreographer for “So You Think You Can Dance,” “Dancing with the Stars,” “La La Land,” and Taylor Swift’s “The Eras Tour”). According to a synopsis, “The Real Full Monty” will see the group bare all in front of a live audience. Leading up to the final disrobing, the men will expand their limits, test their modesty and strengthen their bond with a series of rehearsals and experiences, both private and public, designed to build confidence and remove them far from their comfort zone and forge a brotherhood. Along the way, each of the celebrities will share their personal stories of how cancer has impacted their lives. Based on the international unscripted format first broadcast on the U.K.’s ITV in 2017, garnering awards, massive viewership and critical praise, the special has since been broadcast in the U.K. annually, and the format has successfully expanded into Australia, France and the Netherlands. Produced by Spun Gold TV (a 53 Degrees Global company) and FOX Alternative Entertainment, “The Real Full Monty” is executive produced by Anthony Anderson, Dan Norris and Ashley Edens, who also serves as showrunner. Executive producers from Spun Gold include Nick Bullen and Daniela Neumann. “The Real Full Monty” airs Monday, December 9 at 8:00 pm. ET/PT on FOX. 17. FOX has released the first look trailer for Season 2 of “Accused,” its hit primetime drama that highlights a collection of intense, topical and human stories of crime and punishment as each episode provides viewers with a fast-paced provocative thriller, exploring a different crime, in a different city, featuring an entirely original cast. Joining the cast for Season 2 include several Oscar and Emmy award-winning stars, including Felicity Huffman, William H. Macy, Taylor Schilling, Nick Cannon, Patrick J. Adams, Michael Chiklis, Debra Winger, Mercedes Ruehl, Justin Chambers, Christine Ebersol, Danny Pino, Ken Jeong, Cobie Smulders, Vella Lovell, Dina Shihabi and Isabel Arraiza, among others. Based on the BBC’s BAFTA-winning crime anthology, each episode of “Accused” opens in a courtroom on the defendant, with viewers knowing nothing about their crime or how they ended up on trial. Told from the defendant’s point of view through flashbacks, the show holds a mirror up to current times with evocative and emotional stories. In the end, audiences will discover how an ordinary person gets caught up in extraordinary circumstances, and how one impulsive decision can impact the course of that life – and the lives of others – forever. The second season of “Accused” premieres Tuesday, October 8 at 8:00 p.m. ET/7:00 p.m. CT on FOX. Check out the Season 2 trailer for “Accused” below. 24. Having played many characters on “Saturday Night Live” over the last three seasons, comedian Sarah Sherman is ready to tackle her biggest acting challenge to date when she makes her debut on the ABC soap opera “General Hospital.” Sherman is set to appear in at least two episodes of the series, airing Thursday, September 5 and Friday, September 6, playing the role of Robin Finch, a “spirited” etiquette teacher, or dialect theorist as the character calls herself, who’s hired to help Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) when it comes to how she speaks now that she’s become the spokeswoman for Deception. In a preview clip shared by PEOPLE, Sherman’s character can be seen in the Quartermaine mansion being critical of the heavy Brooklyn accent spoken by Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) and Lois, starting from the moment Finch criticizes Olivia for the way she pronounces the word “croissant,” to which Ned (Wally Kurth), Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and even Tracy (Jane Elliot) can only look on in horror as things go down from there. “I don’t know who you are, or what you’re doing in my living room, but I’ll pronounce my French pastries just the way I eat them,” counters Olivia. “Incorrectly?” Ms. Finch retorts, to which Ned stands up for his wife, saying, “Anyway she wants!” After naming the area in which Olivia grew up in Brooklyn down to the cross streets simply based on the way she pronounced the “ah” while saying the word croissant, with Finch saying, “The closer to Bath Beach, the more nasal the tone,” it’s then the spotlight is placed on Lois. “I’m Robin Finch. I’m a dialect theorist and tutor to the stars,” Finch finally says, introducing herself as she walks toward Lois. “And you must be Lois Cerullo! My new student,” she adds as she offers her hand to Lois for a handshake. “I had the best time of my life and I couldn’t believe I got to act in a scene with ‘TRACY QUARTERMAINE’!” said Sherman in a statement released to PEOPLE. “I was so nervous about flubbing my lines, because I was surrounded by pros who memorize like a billion pages of dialogue a day. Also I met ‘Sonny Corinthos’ [Maurice Benard] so I can die happy!” A repertory player on Saturday Night Live,” Sherman is a comedian and visual artist known for her traveling comedy show “Helltrap Nightmare.” Her credits include “The Erik Andre Show” and the Netflix film “You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah,” among others. She recently completed a nationwide stand-up comedy tour, “Live and in the Flesh Tour.” To get a sneak peek at Sherman’s appearance on “General Hospital,” check out the full article at PEOPLE, which includes photos and video.
