  1. It's fine, no harm to me. I just do not like being held to an embargo when other outlets ignore them so blatantly.
  2. Seeing as this was posted prior to the embargo lift date, the source did not abide by the CBS embargo, which is 5:00 p.m. ET/2:00 p.m. PT. Going forward, please do not link to this source. To be clear, this has become a pattern, and that is not appropriate behavior by the source.
  3. What's ironic is that I was hoping for Beyond the Gates to follow The Young and the Restless when it was first announced because, demographically, the latter series was stronger in Women 18-49 and Women 25-54, not to mention Black people. This remains true, but recently, The Bold and the Beautiful has been beating Y&R on certain days, including the previous week in the demos. Clearly, CBS knew better. That said, Beyond the Gates needs to figure out a way to attract the B&B viewers to stay and watch the show, specifically older Women, as it's clear the under 54 demos are decent enough. It's the Women 55+ that haven't picked up the show, which explains why BTG loses nearly 1.1 million viewers from B&B.
  4. Only because their house burned down and TikTok became a craze for that song as he promoted it using burritos.
  5. With preemptions and interruptions across the board on Monday, April 7 and Wednesday, April 9, due to breaking news coverage on the stock market and tariff wars between the United States and China, the week of April 7-11, 2025 saw several daytime broadcast shows hit season or series lows in various ratings categories. Continuing to rank last among Women 18-49 and Women 25-54, “GMA3: What You Need to Know” (1.214 million) tied its season low in the former category (0.13 rating) for the fourth time this season while hitting a new season low in the latter category (0.18 rating). Among Total Viewers, the ABC News broadcast, which is marketed as the third hour of “Good Morning America” (2.732 million), hit a new season low among Total Viewers, down -120,000 week-to-week (1.214 million vs. 1.334 million) and -304,000 year-over-year (1.214 million vs. 1.518 million). This was also one of the lowest, if not the lowest, performances ever for “GMA3” among Total Viewers. “GMA3: What You Need to Know ABC News As noted last week, “TODAY with Jenna & Friends” (1.159 million) continues to be a cause for concern for NBC as the current iteration of the fourth hour of the “TODAY” brand hit a new season low, and likely a series low, among Total Viewers. Compared to the same week last year, the program was down -359,000 viewers (1.159 million vs. 1.518 million) from how “TODAY with Hoda & Jenna” performed and down -30,000 viewers from its week ago performance (1.159 million vs. 1.189 million), with the gap between it and “NBC News Daily” (1.136 million) now just +23,000 viewers. That said, “TODAY with Jenna & Friends” continues to perform on par with the bottom half of daytime broadcast among Women 18-49 (0.19 rating) and Women 25-54 (0.30 rating), including “General Hospital” (1.796 million). Speaking of the ABC sop opera, it saw a minor decline of -15,000 viewers from the week ago period (1.796 million vs. 1.811 million), but was down a more substantial -218,000 viewers compared to the same week last year (1.796 million vs. 2.014 million). Demographically, the show’s 0.19 rating among Women 18-49 was down -0.02 from one week earlier (0.19 rating vs 0.21 rating), and its 0.29 rating among Women 25-54 was down -0.03 week-to-week (0.29 rating vs. 0.32 rating). Compared to the same week last year, “General Hospital” was down -0.05 among Women 18-49 (0.19 rating vs. 0.24 rating) and down -0.09 among Women 25-54 (0.29 rating vs. 0.38 rating), marking daytime broadcast’s largest year-over-year drop among Women 25-54. “Beyond The Gates” CBS As “Beyond the Gates” (1.557 million) continues to perform well enough in the key sales demographics, its performance among Total Viewers might be a subject of concern. After seven weeks, the series is averaging just 1.650 million viewers, with three of those weeks below 1.6 million viewers. That said, the new soap opera saw significant gains over the same seven-week period last year when “The Talk” held the time slot, with the series up +401,000 viewers (1.650 million vs. 1.249 million) over the since canceled talk show. Meanwhile, among the key demos, the show was down -0.01 week-to-week in both Women 18-49 (0.21 rating vs. 0.22 rating) and Women 25-54 (0.35 rating vs. 0.36 rating). Compared to the same week last year, “Beyond the Gates” was up +0.04 among Women 18-49 over the year ago performance of “The Talk” (0.21 rating vs. 0.17 rating) and up +0.11 among Women 25-54 (0.35 rating vs. 0.24 rating), the largest year-over-year gain among daytime broadcast. While “The Young and the Restless” (2.998 million) and “The Bold and the Beautiful” (2.624 million) both fell from their recent ratings high performances, they were virtually on par with their year ago period among Women 18-49 and Women 25-54. In the case of the half-hour soap, “The Bold and the Beautiful” was up +0.02 year-over-year among Women 25-54 (0.44 rating vs. 0.42 rating) whileflat year-over-year among Women 18-49 rating (0.25 rating). Wrap-Up What follows is a breakdown of how the daytime broadcast shows performed during the week of April 7-11, 2025 among Women 18-49 rating, Women 25-54 rating, Households and Total Viewers, including a week-to-week and year-over-year performance comparison. Note*: The year ago performance for “Beyond the Gates” is compared to “The Talk.” Ditto for “Today with Jenna & Friends,” which is compared with “TODAY with Hoda & Jenna.” Week of April 7-11, 2025 Rankers Women 18-49 Rating Rank / Show / NetworkThis WeekLast Week20241. 6. While the issue is sound, there is nothing wrong with constructive criticism of an actor or actress regarding how they look, primarily on the show, or even how their real-life look might impact the character they play or will play in the future. Even their age can/should be subject to comment, as it can play a part in one's belief in their casting for a role, which is likely based on a specific age. Additionally, if age shouldn't be a factor/discussed, Hollywood should stop including that line in their casting calls when they seek actors for key roles. An example of this would be Beyond the Gates. The show portrays Dani and Bill as having been married for 30 years and having two adult daughters, making them at least 49 years old at the time of the show's premiere. Meanwhile, their portrayers don't look that old and aren't exactly that age. Ironically, some of their younger characters are played by much older actors. Therefore, I do not see anything wrong with fans discussing these matters, unless, of course, it's specifically done in a manner that is negative or disparaging to an individual. As for sharing posts from social media, I'm sorry, I completely disagree with you here. I pay for bandwidth and storage fees to manage this website. I should not be burdened with having to pay more to host publicly available content shared on the servers of billion-dollar companies by individuals of voting and legal drinking age who posted the content themselves on said platforms. There is also the legal aspect of someone re-posting the content in general, as videos, for instance, are subject to copyright. Embedding or linking to social media posts is the preferred method for any content shared on the message boards that originated on social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Bluesky, X (formerly Twitter) and the like. I will say, though, sharing a screengrab from an episode of one of the shows for episode discussion purposes is no different than sharing a social media post. Anything one says on the internet, particularly in the public space, is subject to a response. We might not agree on that, but that is my stance on the matter. Lastly, if someone enters the business of acting and can't handle the response by the consumers they expect to make money off of as part of their careers, they should rethink their profession. This business is cutthroat, and they will endure so much more than a fan on this message board criticising them for their looks. Mind you, I don't think I've seen anyone here do that in a negative sense. ------ On re-reading, if I misunderstood you on this line, please let me know: If I misunderstood, I will say linking to one's social media is fine. However, this is a message board, and to respond to a topic, you need to see the material. This is why I've been re-publishing the articles on the main SON website on the message boards. When I only linked to the article, no one commented on it. Engagement is a huge part of why the SON Community is successful. If only linked to other websites without providing any context whatsoever, we'd be a dead board walking. I'm not saying that full articles from other websites or images should be lifted from other websites, far from it, I'm just saying that just linking to something without giving people a broader understanding or context would be problematic. If I still misunderstood after all of the above. Please clarify.
  7. Starting with the Thursday, April 24 episode, “The Bold and the Beautiful” will put on its latest fashion show extravaganza featuring guest appearances by “The Young and the Restless” star Lauralee Bell (Christine Blair), social media influencer Markell Washington, and reality TV stars Heidi Montag and husband Spencer Pratt. News of the fashion show first came to light in mid-March when word broke that Bell would be making a three-episode return appearance on the daytime drama series before eventually reprising her role on “The Young and the Restless” in June. “You never know when [executive producer/head writer] Brad Bell calls, if I’m going to be asked a question or if I can come to ‘B&B’ for a couple of days,” Bell said to Deadline about her return to the half-hour soap, and speaking of her real-life brother. This marks her third time appearing on the show for a guest arc. As for Pratt, it had long been suspected that he would be joined by his wife, Montag, as part of his appearance, which was revealed in a video post he shared across his social channels last month. Spencer Pratt, Heidi Montag, Markell Washington, Lauralee Bell CBS In the post, Pratt could be seen stepping out of the Logan mansion set’s doors, stopping in front of the camera recording him, take a burrito out of the jetted pocket of his suit jacket, do a quick little dance and then take a bite out of the burrito, which has become a staple of many of his recent posts where he can be seen highlighting the popular food item, including breakfast burritos and burritos in a bowl. The video is highlighted by background music from the 2010 song “I’ll Do It” by his wife which was remixed earlier this year and features Pitbull on the new cut. With more than 10.9 million followers on TikTok and more than 1.2 million on Instagram, Markell Washington is known for his skits that tend to go for the dramatic when not taking a comedic and fashionable turn. Washington’s TikTok bio is captioned, “We only have one life so live it to the fullest,” likely an indirect reference to the defunct soap “One Life to Live.” Check out photos from the fashion show below. CBS The fashion show episodes of “The Bold and the Beautiful” are set to air on Thursday, April 24; Friday, April 25; and Monday, April 28. 10. After a photo of Marissa Reyes began circulating online last week, wherein she could be seen posing alongside “Days of our Lives” actors Al Calderon (Javi Hernandez), Cherie Jimenez (Gabi Hernandez) and Dan Feuerriegel (EJ DiMera), fans of the daytime drama series began wondering if the actress had joined the show’s cast and, if so, who she’d be playing. “All my favorite people in one photo,” was the caption on the photo, first published on Feuerriegel’s Instagram story timeline. According to Soap Opera Digest, Reyes will indeed be entering the world of Salem, making her daytime debut next month as an aged-up Arianna Horton, Gabi and Will Horton’s (Chandler Massey) daughter. If the character’s name sounds familiar, you’ll recall that Arianna is named after her deceased aunt who died in 2010 after she was tragically hit by a car driven after she ran away from Will following her prior confrontation with Sami (Alison Sweeney), who was shocked to learn that Arianna knew that it was her that had shot EJ (then played by James Scott). Ironically, the Arianna who is returning to Salem next month comes just weeks after EJ was again shot, this time by a mystery individual. Even more ironic, Sami is also back in town just after the incident as well, albeit that has more to do with her son with EJ, Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman), learning the truth about his conception. Citing a spokesperson for the show, Soap Opera Digest notes that Reyes joins the show in May for a multi-month story arc. With credits including “That Girl Lay Lay” and “Raven’s Home,” among others, this year has been a big one for Reyes as the actress has made appearances in several high profile projects including a recurring role on Netflix’s “Running Point” starring Kate Hudson and Prime Video’s “Bosch: Legacy” starring Titus Welliver, the latter of which just concluded its third and final season while the former was recently picked up for a second season. She’ll next appear in the film “The Evilry,” starring Teri Polo (“Loving”), Faye Dunaway and Dylan Walsh (“Nip/Tuck”), among others. 11. With a trial date that was set to begin on Tuesday, May 13, the lawsuit filed against ABC by former “General Hospital” crew members James Wahl (“Jim”) and his son, Timothy James Wahl (“Tim”), has been postponed. A new trial date has been set for Monday, June 9. According to Deadline, Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Tony Richardson agreed to delay the trial after an attorney for the network said during a hearing last Tuesday that the two sides were looking to resolve the case with the help of since-retired Judge Mitchell Beckloff, who previously presided over the case. First filed in June 2022, the lawsuit alleges that the plaintiffs were fired after their requested religious exemption to the then-Covid vaccine mandate, which had been put in place by ABC parent Disney back in November 2021, was denied. “[ABC] denied their requests without explanation, one week after they requested them,” read a portion of the 14-page complaint, calling their termination “unconstitutional” and a form of “religious discrimination.” “These actions were unlawful. ABC does not have the authority to force a medical treatment on its employees against their will,” the complaint said. “Even if it did, it must offer religious exemptions to anybody who requests one. It cannot discriminate among religions and cannot second-guess the sincerity of one’s religious beliefs without an objective basis for doing so. It did not have one here. ABC’s actions constitute religious discrimination and violate Plaintiffs’ rights under state law.” As stage technicians, the Wahl’s ran the construction shop and special effects department for the daytime drama series, with the elder Wahl working on the show for 14 years and the younger Wahl for 10 years before being terminated. In response to the lawsuit at the time, particularly the denied request for religious exemption, ABC reportedly called the plaintiff’s objection to vaccination “purely as lifestyle choices that it had no duty to accommodate.” Disney has since rescinded the mandate, which allowed the network to rehire actor Steve Burton back in the role of Jason Morgan after he had previously been let go from the show upon also being denied an exemption to the then-mandate. Ingo Rademacher Michael Yada/ABC While the Wahl lawsuit seeks a resolution that might help circumvent a lengthy trial, another lawsuit filed against ABC by former “General Hospital” star Ingo Rademacher remains cold after a separate Los Angeles County Superior Court judge in February denied a motion by the actor to have his wrongful termination lawsuit revived. In November 2024, Rademacher, who played Jasper “Jax” Jacks on the soap, sought to have his previously dismissed case against the network reopened, citing the network’s decision to rehire Steve Burton as both actors were let go simultaneously due to noncompliance with the since-rescinded vaccine mandate. Judge Stephen Goorvitch first ruled on Rademacher’s lawsuit in June 2023, siding with ABC, wherein he indicated that Rademacher’s opposition [to getting vaccinated] was “based on health reasons rather than his religious leanings.” The judge denied the motion, determining that ABC’s decision in rehiring Burton did not indicate Rademacher was terminated for his political beliefs, and he would have to file a new lawsuit if he wanted to raise such an argument in court. Additionally, the motion for a trial was denied. In filing the motion, an attorney for Rademacher said, “ABC’s rehiring of Mr. Burton, which occurred while this case was on appeal confirms that ABC got rid of Ingo because it did not like his political views. It confirms that ABC did not merely lay Ingo off, with the intent of bringing him back later, as it did with [Steve]. It re-cast his role. It replaced him, or is in the process of replacing him, with another actor.” Note: The post ABC Looking To Settle ‘General Hospital’ Lawsuit Brought By Fired Crew Members – REPORT appeared first on the Soap Opera Network website. 12. Premiering Tuesday, April 22 with its first two episodes on all major podcast platforms, fans of daytime soap operas can look forward to tuning in for the gripping all-new audio drama “Montecito,” created by Grant Rutter, which promises explosive drama and tantalizing tales of betrayal featuring unforgettable characters voiced by several familiar faces. Set in the sun-drenched enclave of the ultra-wealthy, “Montecito” presents a dark paradise where shattered romances, hidden family secrets, and scandalous affairs hide behind manicured hedges and the shadows of towering palm trees. The 10-episode series is the latest to join the fast-growing audio drama space that already includes “Forever and a Day,” “Around the Sun,” “Limetown,” “Wolf 359,” “Blackout” and “Alice Isn’t Dead,” among others. 16. I'm sure he meant 15 years cause 25 years would be 2000.
  17. Considering he's in the cast/crew photo from yesterday's taping of episode 100, it's even less likely.
  18. Nearly six years since being let go from “The Young and the Restless” as Cane Ashby, actor Daniel Goddard is returning to daytime to play Professor Henry Dalton on “General Hospital,” a character first referenced earlier this week during a conversation between Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and her WSB handler, Vaughn (Bryce Durfee). Goddard first airs on Tuesday, April 15. In an interview with TV Insider, Goddard spoke about his return to the genre, the character he originally auditioned for before landing the recurring role on the ABC soap opera, and reuniting with some of his former colleagues at “The Young and the Restless.” Taping his first episodes in mid-March, Goddard told the outlet that his character works at Port Charles University, saying, “He teaches environmental physics, and it seems there are some things in his past that he’s done that have left him in a position of some form of investigation.” He added, “And from there, it’s an absolute mystery to me.” It’s a mystery because Goddard indicated to the show’s executive producer, Frank Valentini, how he preferred not knowing much else about his character even if the other actors did. “I know that the characters that I’ve had scenes with know something about him,” teased Goddard. “I don’t want to know what it is because I don’t want to play it, that I know. I’d rather have the character be sort of a clean slate to me.” “At ‘[The] Young and the Restless,’ I always used to read the whole script because other characters will talk about you, and you’ll get to know more about you than you know about yourself,” Goddard continued. “At ‘General Hospital,’ you only get your pages, and I thought, ‘Woody Allen would do that, where he doesn’t want everybody [sic] know what’s going on or what the twists and turns are.’ And I thought, ‘This is going to be cool.’ So, I’m allowing myself to go on the journey of who Dalton is from the audience’s perspective and from my perspective of what is the growth and evolution of him. I will allow it to unfold as the bits and pieces present themselves to me.” As for working with McCoy, whose character is going to be attending one of his classes as part of an undercover mission for the WSB, Goddard says, “I think she’s fantastic. With Josslyn, it’s professor and student, and a great push and pull there.” As for how he landed the part, Goddard notes he was actually first called in for an audition for the role of Jack Brennan, a character that was being recast at the time following the exit of Charles Mesure. “It’s the first audition I’ve had in many years, and it was a bizarre experience for me,” the actor shared. “You feel like, in a way, you’re going back to ground zero, back to the beginning of it all, even though you’ve been on a different soap opera for, like, 15 years. It was humbling, but it was more of an awakening, and in that moment, I felt extraordinarily vulnerable.” Although the role eventually went to Chris L. McKenna, interestingly, another actor who had auditioned was Daniel Cosgrove, who is now playing the recurring role of Ezra Boyle. “I was standing out in the hallway, and there were four or five other guys there. One of them was Daniel Cosgrove, and I was like, ‘Oh, wow. There’s a bunch of people here and there’s competition,’ so instantly I become fearful of the fact that I didn’t want to fail,” Goddard detailed. “So, I kind of felt this incredible pressure, and I walked in the room, and I saw Laura [Wright, Carly Spencer] and Frank, and the writers, and Mark [Teschner, casting director] and I was like, ‘Oh, my gosh, this is real. This is really happening.’” While he didn’t land the gig as Jack Brennan, the show apparently liked what they saw in Goddard and reached out to his former manager, Michael Bruno, who shared that the show had a new character they were looking to cast and they thought the actor fit the part. “I was just gobsmacked by it,” he revealed to TV Insider, referring to receiving a callback “It wasn’t a recast. It was a new character, and I was so blown away. I really felt like the timing was right, and I felt like it was meant to be. I can’t begin to express my gratitude to Frank and everyone at ‘General Hospital’ and to Michael Bruno for really believing in me and being there.” Although he has yet to air, thus far, Goddard is pleased with the chance to take on a new role on a new show after previously appearing on “The Young and the Restless” for more than 12 years, exiting in 2019. “It’s been an extraordinary, wonderful experience so far,” he enthuses. “I just got new scripts, and I have four episodes coming up in one week, which I’m so excited about. It makes me feel wanted in the sense that everything that I’ve gone through in this process up until now is meant to be. I couldn’t be more grateful to be back in what I think is probably the most beloved genre in all of entertainment.” In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Goddard posted a video of his exiting the Prospect Studios building where “General Hospital” tapes in Hollywood, CA. In it, he tells the security guard to “have a lovely day” as he walks out the studio doors where the iconic General Hospital sign appears while indicating a secret is about to be revealed, referring to his casting. He captioned the post, "1,973 days later," referencing the time since he last appeared as Cane Ashby on "The Young and the Restless" and his joining "General Hospital" as Henry Dalton. Watch the video below. For more on what Goddard has to say about his joining the daytime drama series, as well as working again with his former colleagues at “The Young and the Restless,” including Genie Francis (Laura Collins; Genevieve Atkinson on ‘The Young and the Restless”) and Steve Burton (Jason Morgan; Dylan McAvoy on “The Young and the Restless”), among others, as well as working with people like Finola Hughes (Anna Devane), read the rest of his TV Insider interview here. 20. While most television shows are lucky to reach the century mark during their entire runs, today, April 10, marked a major milestone for “Beyond the Gates” as the brand new daytime drama series taped its 100th episode. “So this happened today. 100 episodes! Wow. So much love to my #BeyondTheGates fam,” said series creator and head writer Michele Val Jean in a post she shared on X (formerly Twitter) that was accompanied by a photo of a celebratory cake embedded with shots of the cast/crew. “You guys amaze me every day. Here’s to the next hundred,” she added. The caption on the cake itself read, “Cheers to 100 episodes!” Production on “Beyond the Gates” formally commenced in November 2024, giving the show ample time to bank episodes before it premiered on Monday, February 24. As a result, the show is at least three months ahead in terms of its tape-to-air schedule. As of today’s broadcast, the show has aired just 32 episodes, meaning that the 100th episode is likely to air sometime in mid-to-late July due to upcoming holidays and potential sports preemptions due to CBS’ coverage of UEFA Champion League Soccer. “Beyond the Gates” stars (in alphabetical order) Alex Alegria, Lauren Buglioli, Brandon Claybon, Clifton Davis, Daphnee Duplaix, Timon Kyle Durrett, Sean Freeman, Ben Gavin, Marquita Goings, Jibre Hordges, Jen Jacob, Trisha Mann-Grant, Mike Manning, RhonniRose Mantilla, Ambyr Michelle, Karla Mosley, Colby Muhammad, Arielle Prepetit and Tamara Tunie. Beginning next month, Keith D. Robinson (“A Million Little Things,” “Dreamgirls”) will replace Maurice Johnson in the role of Dr. Ted Richardson, marking the show’s first-ever recasting. In addition to creating and serving as the show’s head writer, Val Jean is also the showrunner and one of eight executive producers. The show tapes in Atlanta. 21. Say what one may about General Hospital, but casting hasn't been an issue for the show for several years now. Of course, I'm referring to when casting can do their jobs and not have to deal with supermarket or text message hiring practices.
  22. That's what I was thinking, but Deadline emphasized: "He returned to the Los Angeles set April 10 to begin taping a story arc; his first episode back will air June 13." Now, that doesn't mean he can't tape scenes in Los Angeles and then fly with the crew to Italy for additional episodes, but it's interesting wording here.
  23. Although he made a brief appearance during the show’s 35th anniversary episode in 2022, actor Jack Wagner is set to reprise his role as Nick Marone on “The Bold and the Beautiful” for a story arc that kicks off with episodes airing in June, Deadline reported. According to the outlet, Wagner returned to the show’s Los Angeles-based set on Thursday to tape scenes that surrounds the emotional turmoil inflicted on Katherine Kelly Lang’s character, Brooke Logan, who has been on a roller coaster ride of late following years of an on again/off again relationship with Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye). His episodes begin airing Friday, June 13. “After a series of tumultuous events in her ongoing relationship with Ridge Forrester, Brooke is feeling defeated and lost, grappling with heartbreak and the painful realization that her relationship may be irreparably broken,” read a logline for the storyline. “As she struggles with her emotions, Nick’s unexpected arrival brings a rush of memories and unresolved feelings back to the surface. His charismatic and supportive nature offers Brooke a sense of comfort and stability that she desperately needs. Their connection reignites old flames, offering Brooke a chance at happiness and a fresh start away from the shadow of her past with Ridge.” First appearing on the half-hour soap in 2003, Wagner portrayed Nick Marone, son of shipping tycoon Massimo Marone (played by the late Joseph Mascolo), who also happens to be Ridge’s half-brother. Described as adventurous and ambitious, the sea captain now runs Marone Industries. Gilles Toucas/Bell-Phillip Television Productions “I was actually pretty blindsided just by driving to CBS because I was on the show for 8 or 9 years. Just driving there and walking down the halls at CBS, and then up to the dressing room and reconnecting to the actors, it was unbelievable,” said Wagner during an appearance on “The Talk” in 2022 on his return to the show in celebration of its 35th anniversary episode. “Like, you know, when you see a high school friend and you just jump right back like time hasn’t passed. It’s so great to be back on the show again.” Although the legal son of Nick and Taylor Hayes (then played by Hunter Tylo), Brooke inadvertently provided a donor egg that led to the conception of Jack Hamilton Marone, who first appeared on the soap in 2007, technically making the child her biological son. Following a lengthy legal battle during his divorce from Taylor, it was later determined that Nick would be the better parent for Jack with Taylor relinquishing her maternal rights and also leaving him in the care of Brooke as well. In the years since that storyline, fans have clamored to see an aged up Jack, but, at press time, there were no indications the show had plans on including the character in the upcoming Nick/Brooke story arc. Since exiting “The Bold and the Beautiful,” Wagner has gone on to star several TV movies for Hallmark Channel, including “The Wedding March” series, and stars in the network’s long-running drama “When Calls the Heart” which was just renewed for a record 13th season, set to debut in 2026. Recently renewed for three additional seasons at CBS, “The Bold and the Beautiful” is set to tape episodes on location later this year in Italy for the sixth time, with supervising producer Casey Kasprzyk teasing Naples or Capri as possible cities. The soap previously taped in Italy while on location during trips to Lake Como in 1997, Venice in 1999, Portofino in 2002, Puglia in 2012, and, more recently, Rome in 2023. Meanwhile, among Women 25-54, the new soap opera was flat week-to-week, maintaining its 0.36 rating for the third consecutive week while tying for its second best performance in the demo just six weeks since its premiere. Even more concerning was the show’s year-over-year drop among Women 25-54, down -0.08 (0.32 rating vs. 0.40 rating), with only the first half-hour of “Let’s Make a Deal” (1.985 million) seeing a larger drop of -0.09 compared to its year ago performance (0.31 rating vs. 0.40 rating) “TODAY 3rd Hour” & “The View” Ratings “TODAY 3rd Hour” was up week-to-week, jumping +0.05 among Women 18-49 (0.32 rating vs. 0.27 rating) and +0.06 among Women 25-54 (0.45 rating vs. 0.39 rating). Three months since the departure of former co-host Hoda Kotb, it looks like NBC needs to settle on a permanent replacement and quickly, considering the fourth hour of “TODAY” is just +49,000 viewers ahead of “NBC News Daily” (1.140 million), which gained +42,000 viewers over its week ago performance. That said, “TODAY with Jenna & Friends” remains a solid performer in the demos when compared to other daytime broadcast shows, even tying “General Hospital” among Women 25-54 (each with a 0.32 rating), despite year-over-year erosion.
