Lindsay walks into the living room in her pajamas with ice cream, while Charlie sits on the couch in her pajamas.

Charlie Lindsay

Lindsay: Vanilla chocolate strawberry!

Charlie: Yummy.

Lindsay: Cool. Let’s chow.

Charlie: What are we doing here in our pajamas?

Lindsay: I gotta work tomorrow.

Charlie: So do I?

Lindsay: You like working at Tops?

Charlie: It’s pretty cool. The tips are great.

Lindsay: School doesn’t start for a while right?

Charlie: Yeah.

Lindsay gets a text and smiles after looking at it.

Charlie (smiling): Oooh…was that text from my cousin Gregory?

Gregory puts his cell phone in his lockers, and takes out his shirt. He drops his shirt on the floor, and someone else picks it up for him…Kirkland, as the two have a nervous exchange.

Cory: Mom I asked you a question?

Rachel: Don’t talk to me that way!

Cory: You’re being evasive.

Rachel: Cory I don’t want to talk about this anymore.

Cory: I can’t believe you’re gonna stand there and lie to me mom.

Rachel turns around and gives a searing look to Cory.

Lindsay: Yeah he’s just finished working out.

Charlie: Wow he’s made a lot of progress.

Lindsay: He’s walking with a cane now. He was itching to be able to get back in the gym and work out.

Charlie: You like him don’t you?

Lindsay: Yeah I do. I could say the same about you and Kirkland right?

Charlie (blushing): Yeahhh…

Lindsay: He apologized for that disaster of a date you had at Tops right?

Charlie: Look over there.

Charlie points to a vase full of roses.

Lindsay: Wow those are beautiful.

Charlie: He means well.

Lindsay: Means well? Seems like he likes you. He’s totally hot.

Charlie: And he is totally angry at his dad. I don’t know how long I can handle that. Makes you wonder what other grudges he’s harboring.

Gregory: Look I’ll move.

Kirkland: No you don’t have to.

Gregory: Kirk I know you hate me…

Kirkland: I don’t. I know you would never have intentionally hurt my sister.

Gregory: I’m off that stuff now. It was a factor. My dad made me mad. I should never have gotten behind the wheel of car.

Kirkland: Dude I don’t blame you for Michele’s death. It was an accident. Just one big terrible accident.

Gregory: I’m gonna live with this for the rest of my life. I killed someone.

Kirkland: You gotta forgive yourself man. Guilt is like anger…it will consume you if you don’t get rid of it.

Gregory: Who are we talking about now? Me or you?

Kirkland: Just trust me when I say, don’t feel guilty about my sister’s death. Forgive yourself. Let go of the guilt.

One of the doctors makes a cell phone call…to Grant.

DOCTOR #2: He’s not here.

GRANT: What the hell do you mean he’s gone? You better find him or you all will be out of business!

Cory: Mom just tell me the truth. Is Frankie going to take you to see dad?

Rachel: Yes she is.

Rachel reads a text on her cell phone.

Rachel: That’s her. Time for me to go. Please don’t tell Elizabeth.

Cory: I won’t mom. Hurry back.

Rachel: Of course honey.

Cory: I’ll take your luggage downstairs.
