I guess it makes sense if she is Kate's adoptive mother.... but like couldn't she just be short term. This show does not need another leading lady.... they have too many they don't write for as it is.

She can drop the kid off and go. I really don't understand what AMC is doing. They have Sydney and Terri on the backburner if they need a female to fulfill that age category.
