Just wanted to let you know that I'm going to be away til Sunday night, so I won't be posting much, if at all. I'll try to hop on while in Louisville and tell you guys about the Derby, but if not, I'll definitely post about it when I get home.

Take care and talk to you in a couple of days! :D

Have a great time in Louisville Shawn!

It's funny, here I am only about an hour and fifteen minutes south of Louisville, but I have never been to watch the Derby...I have watched it on tv many times though.

And one year I would like to go and watch the very large firework display, 'Thunder Over Louisville', which kicks off the Derby Festival each year. It's always on a Saturday night, two weeks before the Derby itself.

Enjoy the Derby Shawn, and try not to gamble too much! lol :)

Also, not sure if you've been to Kentucky before or not, but welcome. Kentucky is nice and scenic, and I like it.

Enjoy your visit and enjoy the Derby! :)

Never been to the derby either. Never had a desire to go. You should swing by Frankfort since it's only about 45 minutes from where you'll be. ;)
