I loved VH on As the Word Turns, so I'm happy to see that his version of Lucas is actually be developed and used!

It's interesting to see how GH actors in general have much higher episode totals than actors on other shows do at this point. Is their budget that much bigger?

General Hospital does a block-tape, which means they don't film episodes. They film scenes, which are then sliced and built into episodes, based on the sets they have up at the studio. So it does afford them the ability to place actors in multiple episodes, in comparison to other soaps. Plus, in general, Frank Valentini does⏤for the most part⏤handle the serial's budget quite well.
