ARTICLE: ‘Days of our Lives’ Star Billy Flynn to Appear on CBS’ ‘Matlock’

“Days of our Lives” star Billy Flynn (Chad DiMera) is set to appear in the Thursday, February 13 episode “Matlock,” a quasi-update to the iconic series of the same name.

In the episode titled “A Traitor in Thine Own House,” tensions rise as Shae Banfield (Yael Grobglas) works alongside Olympia Lawrence’s (Skye P. Marshall) team when Jacobson Moore, the law firm at the center of the series, deposes employees at a tech startup that’s had trade secrets stolen.

Flynn plays Atticus Waverly, one of the employees at the tech company.

“Matlock” stars Kathy Bates as Madeline “Matty” Matlock, a brilliant septuagenarian who achieved great success in her younger years and decides to rejoin the workforce at a prestigious law firm where she uses her unassuming demeanor and wily tactics to win cases.

Since its launch last fall, the freshman series has emerged as network television’s second most-watched drama series, behind only “Tracker” starring Justin Hartley (“The Young and the Restless,” “Passions), with the premiere episode averaging 15.8 million multiplatform viewers in its first 30 days. When factoring in the two encore airings on October 8, 2024, and October 10, 2024, the number jumped to 22.8 million viewers.
