Very interesting. What is your soap history in real time? I mean, if you don't mind saying. Me, I began watching in 1970 with DAYS & AW & ATWT being my first soaps because they were my mother's soaps. When the shows expanded to an hour, we gave up ATWT & then I was a traditional full schedule NBC baby for a long time. Now I say my favorite soaps are 1-AW, 2-GL and 3-Santa Barbara with Honorable Mention to some of AMC & some of PC & GH since 1993.

2020/21 was when I first started Watching, I believe in Mid 2021 I started following the current soaps in real time, before that it was mostly clips I watched

I want all of Mary Page Keller's run on Another World from 1983-85. Getting engaged to Peter, finding out about David and Kevin, falling in love with Catlin. Actually if I am being greedy I want more Sally going back to Julie Phillips and Jennifer Runyon.

More than 50 episodes of Emergency Ward 10 were found recently - most of those were missing (the show has about 900 episodes missing). Emergency Ward 10 is seen as an early British TV soap opera. I remember watching an episode about a decade ago but never knew of the history. So glad to know that many episodes have been rediscovered.

I would love to see any footage of Mark Hamill’s run on GH from the 70s!

Also recently discovered there was a short lived variant of the GH opening in the 70s with a blue background instead of black when it first started airing in color. This was right before the ambulance hospital opening in 1975. Seeing this opening or episodes from when it first aired in color would be amazing to see!

Was that before his accident? I think it was. Most of us have never seen him before it happened.

Not really short-lived as GH went to color in 1967, so the blue background actually lasted about twice as long as the black background. You can see it at the very beginning of this set of clips from 1974:

Also would like to put it out there in the universe, as I often do, that the wait for any AMC from 1972-1976 has been too damn long. At this point, it is the only long-running soap (10+ years) that has absolutely zero video clips from that time period online. We have either whole episodes or clips from every year of the show's run except those five, which happen to be the exact years when one of my favorite characters I've never actually seen, Margo Flax, was a major player. Justice for Margo, please.
