Sam Page, Richard Hunter, The Bold Type, #TheBoldType, #BoldType

Grey Sloan Memorial will soon welcome actor Sam Page to its fictional patient list when the “All My Children” and “Mad Men” alum joins the cast of “Grey’s Anatomy” next month, albeit in a recurring capacity.

Beginning with the Thursday, May 4 episode, Page will play the role of Sam Sutton, an Air Force pilot who got seriously injured in a base-jumping accident. “Although he’s coping with trauma, he somehow maintains his sense of humor and charm,” reads a character description released by Variety, which first reported the news.

Aptly titled “Come Fly With Me,” the episode also finds Link (Chris Carmack) wrestling with his own self-doubt as he prepares for a massive surgery.

A veteran of Hallmark Channel original movies, Page starred as Richard Hunter in the Freeform series “The Bold Type,” which concluded its five season run in 2021. In 2022, he starred opposite Alyssa Milano in the Netflix film “Brazen.” He made his television debut in 1999, appearing in an episode of the MTV series “Undressed.” He followed that up with roles in such shows as “Popular,” “Hang Time” and “7th Heaven.”

From 2002-2003, he portrayed Trey Shepard on “All My Children.” He later landed a starring role in the NBC series “American Dreams.” His other television credits include guest starring in episodes of a multitude of popular TV shows, including “CSI: NY, “Shark,” “Melrose Place,” “Gossip Girl,” “Castle,” “Desperate Housewives,” “The Mindy Project,” “Scandal,” “Last Resort” and even “House of Cards,” among others. He’s also well known for his stint as Greg Harris in “Mad Men.”
