Talia has a medical degree, but applies for a job at the bakery. There is a small mystery about this. In her IG post dated Oct. 24, Aketra "Keke" Sevillian said she'd just completed a month of filming at "a show". Members janea4old Posted February 10, 2023 Author Members Share Posted February 10, 2023 (edited) I love the idea of Jada as Marcus' daughter, but I hate how bland they've written her. As discussed on another thread a couple of months ago, the show didn't have Lani anymore so they cast another Black female cop and then made her Marcus' daughter as a way to tie her to the canvas. But it was "checking the boxes" casting with no character development. Such a shame because Marcus was a great character and Elia Cantu can act. This is what Ron said: Jada and Rafe will want to date each other but a new city regulation prevents the city employees from dating their superiors. Unrelatedly, Talia has some sort of medical degree but, for a reason not yet explained, she applies for Allie's old job at Chanel's bakery. There's a small mystery about her.
