LANY Entertainment will launch the seventh season of its popular drama series “The Bay” beginning Monday, December 19 with all-new episodes dropping daily at 3:00 p.m. ET/noon PT, Monday through Friday, on Popstar! TV. Encores will air at 8:00 p.m. ET/5:00 p.m. PT and 11:00 p.m. ET/8:00 p.m. PT. Since its launch, the series has won 23 Daytime Emmy Awards and will air its milestone 100th episode in 2023.

Touted as a serialized crime romance that takes place in a town cursed by the spirit of a murdered Senator (played by Bruce Davison), “The Bay” follows the residents of Bay City as they struggle to cope after a shocking cataclysmic event leaves everyone wondering who lives and who dies.

“Growing up watching American daytime dramas in a Latino household where telenovelas were also a big part of our upbringing, I’ve always wanted to combine these two worlds and feel our creative team really helped accomplish that in these latest episodes,” said series creator, director, and showrunner, Gregori J. Martin

“The huge success of The Bay is attributed to Gregori’s inspired vision, his genuine love of the soap opera genre and his inherent understanding of serialized storytelling. The Bay always delivers intimate dramatic stories, romance and mystery while exploring the complexity of the human condition. I’m always excited to dive into writing with Gregori because of his fearless and bold approach to traditional soap storytelling,” said co-writer and executive producer Wendy Riche (“General Hospital,” “Port Charles”).

Recorded at Associated Television Studios in Burbank and on location throughout Southern California, this season, fans can look forward to some exciting location sequences taped in Puerto Rico.

“The Bay” stars Kristos Andrews (Survive the Game) as twins Pete Garrett/Adam Kenway, Karrueche Tran (Claws, Bel-Air) as Vivian Garrett, Mary Beth Evans (“Days of Our Lives”) as Sara Garrett, Tristan Rogers (“General Hospital”) as Commissioner Lex Martin, A Martinez (“Longmire,” “Santa Barbara”) as Nardo Ramos, Eric Nelsen (“1883,” “All My Children”) as Daniel Garrett and Mike Manning (“Days of our Lives”) as Caleb McKinnon.

Returning series regulars include Jackie Zeman (“General Hospital”), Alicia Leigh Willis (“General Hospital”), Brandon Beemer (“Days of our Lives”), Matthew Ashford (“Days of Our Lives”), Celeste Fianna (“The Raven”), Najee De-Tiege (“Power Rangers: Samurai”), Taylor Stanley (“Another World”), Dante Aleksander (“yA”), Carlo Mendez (“Parks and Recreation,” “90210”) along with newcomer Kiara Liz Ortega (“Panama”).

Guest stars include Bianca D’Ambrosio (“Call Jane”), Chiara D’Ambrosio (“Bandit”), Réal Andrews (“General Hospital”), Cari Shane (“General Hospital”), Alexia Robinson (“General Hospital), Daniel Covin (“All My Children”), Ciara Hanna (“The Bold and the Beautiful”), Txunamy Ortiz (“Riverdale”), Joe Lando (“Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman”), Stephen Schnetzer (“Another World”), John Aprea (“The Godfather II,” “The Godfather III”), along with Latin Grammy winner Draco Rosa, among others.

    • I honestly don't care if Laura is friends with Sonny.  She's been friends with him for decades.  The way she goes about the friendship is stupid.   She has no sense of self-preservation or awareness about the optics of parading her friendship with Sonny around town.  She practically celebrates it.  There's no reason in the world she can't just keep the friendship low key and explain they share a grandchild and frame the relationship that way.  A lot of Laura's choices, like getting into a public fight with Dalton, just make her look silly and like a fairly incompetent mayor. Carly is another PC lady that's starting to look silly.  I know she's explained her plan a lot, but it's still stupid and moving at a glacial pace.  If Joss is 45 by the time her revenge plot unfolds, what's the point?  Just dump Brennen and move on please.
    • On that same note, it's astounding to have mobster Sonny in the same office with Mayor Laura chatting it up about their mutual grandson. Think about the reaction if John Gotti and Mayor Eric Adams had a friendship

?? I guess the Logic behind Sonny & Jason acceptance is like when i saw a documentary where FBI agents said they'd rather deal with the mafia than terrorists or cartels---they're the "lesser of 3 evils". Anyway I'm about 30 years late on this convo.
    • Im confused. Does Jessica know anything about June's relation to Tyrell? At the start of the episode, it seemed like June was gonna slip that he was her son but she caught herself but later in the episode she referred to him as "my boy" and Jessica had no reaction like that wasnt a surprise to her No, Anita was putting money in the account every 6 months but we werent told how much was in it when Leslie became a beneficiary. The show has set it up that it was multiplying based off the interest so that its really worth quite alot now. I dont buy it but thats what they've told us
    • What was the point in Lori's return as Mrs. Max Hollister? That little story never made much sense to me.  Were there plans for a permanent return? Or even a new family with her as the matriarch?
    • I guess it depends on your device.  I can watch CW shows via their website on my Windows PC.
    • Ooooo A Liam episode? I'll watch it later today. They sure are churning the daily episodes out early.

    • Welcome back, Shawn Douglas! It's been a while. It really is too bad that the writers don't really have an interest in the character because there are still a lot of ways that he can be used effectively on the canvas. He should have been a part of the 60th anniversary celebrations as well. If anything, just to represent Bo and Hope. And I'd much rather see Jada paired with him than possibly with Theo. But I enjoyed him getting caught up with Belle, and comforting her. I'm sure they'll find their way back to each other at some point but I do like them as divorced friends. I just hope we see it play out onscreen. Belle being a dick about Sami again was unnecessary though. And we finally saw Liam again!  I'm curious to see how this storyline is going to play out, and who's going to be weaved into it. He and Abe do work well together too. And we learned that he has a kid. Hopefully, we'll learn more about his character in the future. But I'm not really sure about Johnny and Chanel suddenly having problems with raising Trey. They've wanted a baby for so long, so I don't understand why this is even an issue. They should know by now what it's like to raise a baby. But I did enjoy Johnny's scenes with EJ, and that Johnny still hasn't refused to forgive him. This storyline was/is very clunky, but having the two of them be at odds is the right decision. There's so much story potential that can be drawn from that. As for Chad... there was no time for us to see his reunion with Will, but there's time for us to see him talking BS with Leo? I don't get it. And I don't get all this random dating app stuff either. Leo and Javi were boring af too. If we're forced to endure them, can they at least have some real conflict? The two of them losing the baby was the perfect opportunity for it.
