The 2022-2023 television season officially kicks off next week and it will include several milestones for CBS daytime dramas “The Young and the Restless” and “The Bold and the Beautiful,” along with the returns of popular game shows “Let’s Make a Deal” and “The Price is Right.” Additionally, CBS’ reign as the most watched and highest rated network in daytime continues for a record breaking 35th consecutive year.

Returning for its 51st season, “The Price is Right” is back in originals starting Monday, September 19. The game show promises even more chances to “come on down” and marks Drew Carey’s 15th anniversary as host of the longest-running game show in television history. In addition, this season will include more primetime offerings with several “The Price is Right at Night” episodes scheduled to air on the network.

“Let’s Make a Deal” also kicks off its new season on Monday, September 19. The show enters season 14 with Emmy Award-winning host Wayne Brady and“Fabulous Car Week,” where players have the chance to win a quarter of a million dollars of luxury cars. The new season will see the return of an audience favorite and “Mega Money Mondays,” where one lucky contestant is guaranteed to win $10,000. The fun will not be contained to daytime alone as the game show, like “The Price is Right,” will continue producing more primetime specials this season.

On Monday, September 26, “The Bold and the Beautiful” will enter its 36th season, continuing as the most-watched U.S.-produced daytime drama series in the world. The episode will feature a crossover with “The Young and the Restless.” Additionally, the show is currently set to air its 9000th episode on Monday, April 17, 2023 (subject to change due to unscheduled preemptions/last minute schedule changes).
