It's fascinating to me that Days and Y&R had 254 episodes this year, B&B had 253 and GH had...248. I guess that's one way to save money but it surprised me to see those hard numbers.

Thank you for taking the effort of compiling this list.  Is Sasha missing from the list for the year, or did I just not see it?  It would be interesting to also see how many times a character has appeared during the year.  For example, Jordan Ashford would move up to #11 on the list with 104 appearances based on the two actresses who portrayed her.

Sofia Mattsson as Sasha Gilmore appeared in 20 total episodes. I believe jcar03 has a rule about new guest/recurring characters have to appear in 25+ episodes to be included on the yearly list. If the guest/recurring character has hit at least 25 episodes at some point in their GH lifetime, their appearances are included on the yearly list, hence why Max, Milo etc. are always listed. Heavy recurring guest stars like Sasha always appear in the monthly list, though.
