Is anyone else a fan of this classic game show ? I remember as a kid watching all the insane stuff that went on and how manic Chuck Barris was. USA network reran the series in the 80's and GSN reran it in the 90's. I know there is a new version with Mike Myers hosting as one of his character parodies, but I don't think it can recapture the magic of the classic series. I saw a clip with Chelsea Handler as a judge being her own nasty self. That was enough for me not to want to tune in.  

 

Here is a clip of one of the most controversial episodes aired in 1978. This was aired in the east coast. When it was to air in the west later in the day, it was pulled from the air. The episodes has since be shown in the reruns.
