Is anyone watching this? Episode 1 came on Tuesday night and it was delicious. Loved every minute. 

 

 

 

 

The very first episode used the n word to describe the main character and I was taken aback because it seemed gratuitous. It seemed just thrown in to be provoking despite the lead character having seemingly picked up culture from some Africans. It is a period piece so....

Tried but nope!  I love period pieces and I especially love Tom Hardy but until he's clean shaven, I don't wish to see him in something so dark. He spits way too much and I don't want to watch saliva sit in his facial hair until the next scene!  

 

I found it it boring and the 1st eppy was like I lost 3 hours of my life. I will see Tom in Peaky Blinders whenever the hell that returns!

Lmbo. I can look past the spittle. 

 

I didn't think it was slow BUT I do think it leans to heavily on Hardy to carry it.
