Um, no. It's been clear for years they're going to turn their animated classics into live action. And they've been doing a great job with it!

well i guess thats the point. They havent released an animated classic in years and now have just resorted to just remaking them in live action format. I wish they'd go back to their 2D animated films instead of this CGI Pixar style stuff and live action.

You'll get no argument from me there -- I miss the hand-drawn look, that type of thing. FROZEN satisfied that in terms of the story, but obviously it was all computer. The last one that had those elements, I think, was THE PRINCESS AND THE FROG. Still, they're doing amazingly well with their live action remakes, especially since some of them are so different in terms of story from the animated ones.
