So, question. I am obsessed with Reese and Joaquin, but I don't know anything about Cash and I only like one of his songs....will I like this this movie?

I am assuming yes, but I still didn't want to see it in the theater, just in case!

Yeah you are going to like the movie. It's written great and the actors just make it. You hear the slogan, "Born to play this role." well I trully think they were meant to play this role!!! JP and RW are great and I think you will enjoy it just because of that fact

I watched the movie and liked it. Don't know a thing about Johnny Cash or June Carter Cash, and really had no interest. I just wanted to see what all the hype was about.

Reese and Joaqin have great, great chemistry. I loved the music -- found myself shifting to the beats many times. And really, it was a good movie.

But that's just it. Good. Really good.

It wasn't amazing, it didn't take my breath away. Many moments in the film, I wondered if it really happened that way or if they were just embellishing. Still, it was good. Nice story.

I liked it well enough. It's a good movie to see even if you're not a Johnny Cash fan, because the story's universal and very watchable. It's not AMAAAAAZING, though, as some people seem to think it is.

That, of course, is just my humble opinion.

I am from Nashville and know quite a bit about Johnny and June and their history and that is one reason I did think the movie was so good. The characterizations by Joaquin and Reese were dead on and they did their own singing and did a damn good job of it. I don't know which parts they made a little more dramatic, but it was pretty true to the history that I know about.
