Just heard the six songs so far released on iTunes…meh…blah…some have possibilities(Living for Love, Ghosttown, Illuminati) but the album looks like another disappointment for me. When she has two songs with the word b itch in it you know she has run of ideas.

Thoughts?

These aren't even the album tracks, just tracks she's offering to fans who pre-order the album. Since a lot of the demos from the album were already leaked, she seems to have wanted to be proactive and just offer up other songs from the recording sessions prior to releasing the album.

I don't like the cover, it looks stupid and reeks of desperation to attract young listeners. If Miley, Katy Perry, Nicki Minaj, etc came out with a cover like this, I'd still have the same opinion.

To me, I think she is opting to work with young producers/people.. when perhaps she should go back to the past and recruit some of the heavy hitters she worked with in the past (1980s era, not William Orbit/Mirwais). I'd rather the electro/techno be taken out of the music and she focus on more strings/piano/guitar with a non-distorted voice. It would stand out more..imho.

From 1983-2005, she was one to trendset.. I guess that was bound to end sooner or later.
