FOX: Delirium

[Karyn] Usher’s Delirium, from 20th TV and Chernin Entertainment, is based on Lauren Oliver’s bestselling book trilogy about a world where love is deemed illegal and is able to be eradicated with a special procedure. With 95 days to go until her scheduled treatment, Lena Holoway does the unthinkable: she falls in love. Usher executive produces with Peter Chernin and Katherine Pope.

FOX: I Suck At Girls

Single-camera I Suck At Girls, from Bill Lawrence’s Doozer and Warner Bros. TV, already had rich pilot production commitment and had been given permission to start casting. Based on Justin Halpern’s book I Suck At Girls, the follow-up to his bestseller Shit My Dad Says that was based on his popular Twitter feed, the half-hour comedy tells the story of a boy becoming a man, and a man becoming a father, in a time before coming of age was something you could Google. Halpern wrote with his TV writing partner Patrick Schumacker, with Lawrence supervising. Lawrence, Halpern and Schumacker executive produce with Jeff Ingold, Lawrence’s development executive at his WBTV-based Doozer production banner.

FOX: To My Assistant

[sherry] Bilsing-Graham & [Ellen] Kreamer’s single-camera To My Assistant, from Warner Bros. TV and Lin Pictures, revolves around the assistants at a big New York law firm who band together as a family to help each other cope with the obnoxious, overbearing bosses who test their sanity on a daily basis. Bilsing, Plummer, Dan Lin and Jennifer Gwartz executive produce.

FOX: Friends And Family

Friends And Family, from David Rosen, creator/executive producer of the MTV cult comedy I Just Want My Pants Back, is an adaptation of the 2007 British romantic comedy series Gavin & Stacey. The Fox version, produced by Sony TV and BBC Worldwide Prods., focuses on the key life moments of the title characters who try to maintain their relationship while combining their polarizing families’ lives. Rosen is executive producing with BBC Worldwide Prods’ Jane Tranter and Julie Gardner, Corden, Jones and Baby Cow’s Henry Normal.

FOX: Gabriels

[Gabriels], from 20th TV and Principato Young, was written by Andrew Gurland and Justin Hurwitz, who executive produce with David Dobkin, Peter Principato and Paul Young. It centers on a neurotic family with contempt for all things normal that tries their best to fit into their small Midwest town where everyone knows each other and politeness reigns.

CBS: Bad Teacher

Bad Teacher, a single-camera comedy series adaptation of the hit 2011 movie, was written by [Hilary] Winston (Happy Endings, Community) and produced by the film’s writers-producers [Gene] Stupnitsky and [Lee] Eisenberg. The TV adaptation, about a sexy, foul-mouthed divorcee who becomes a teacher to find her next husband, is being produced by Sony Pictures TV, where Winston is under a deal, Mosaic and Stupnitsky and Eisenberg’s Quantity Entertainment. Winston, Stupnitsky and Eisenberg executive produce, with Winston set to showrun.

CBS: The Advocates

The Advocates, which had a pilot production commitment, is a legal drama written and executive produced by [bruno] Heller. It centers on a female lawyer and a male ex-con who team up as “victim advocates,” going to the edge of the law to right wrongs and fight for the underdog.

NBC: Welcome To The Family

NBC has given the green light to another comedy pilot, single-camera Welcome To The Family (formerly Chuey & Me). The project, written and executive produced by Rules Of Engagement executive producer Mike Sikowitz, chronicles how cultures collide when a white family and a Latino family are bonded together by their children who fall in love followed quickly by an unplanned pregnancy.

CW: Company Town

Written by Sera Gamble and to be directed by Taylor Hackford, Company Town chronicles the aftermath of a scandal at a Naval base in Virginia, which touches the lives of both civilians and military personnel in the area. The multigenerational, multi-class, family and relationship series centers around two early 20-something women who grew up together, were once best friends, but now are on opposite sides of the Townie/Military divide. Gamble and Hackford executive produce with Bill Haber for CBS TV Studios.

FOX: Enlisted

Enlisted, which originally landed at Fox with penalty, is based on [Kevin] Biegel’s relationship with his siblings and follows three very different brothers working together in the Army at a small base in Florida. Biegel is writing/executive producing the project, stemming from a blind script deal 20th TV had with Biegel. He will get help on the pilot from 20th TV-based Mike Royce (Men Of A Certain Age, 1600 Penn).

FOX: Two Wrongs

Two Wrongs, co-produced by Chernin Entertainment, is a relationship comedy about a couple whose friends and family don’t think they are right for each other. [Michelle] Morgan is writing the script and executive producing with Peter Chernin, Katherine Pope and Aaron Kaplan & Sean Perrone of Kaplan Perrone Entertainment.
