Faves from the Eighties

I could not find an existing thread for this and rather than overload the what you;re listening one with eighties videos, I thought this might be great. Plus I might benefit if someone comes up with songs I might have overlooked for my iPod.

I will start with Depeche Mode, Luther Vandross and George Michael.

Will you take the pain I will give to you again and again and will you return it?

Faith is loaded so it almost seems wrong to pick one above the others but I love, say yes 'cause it's what we do best and I've had such a hard day

The last truly exemplary decade for music. As much as critics at the time disparaged the decade, and as much as the 90s tried to run far away from it (aside from the power ballads), it's still with us, stronger than ever.

Some of my favorites:

The first one gives me chills no matter how many times I hear it.

This song actually brings me back more to the 90s. It reminds me strongly of one of the best movies from that decade, "Peter's Friends", starring among others Kenneth Branagh, Emma Thompson, Hugh Laurie and Stephen Fry.

That's also what the song reminds me of. It was used so perfectly in that movie. As was this, the first time I ever heard this for some reason:
