There are also a couple of famous gospel singers in the choir but I forgot their names...possibly Bebe Winans is one?

That's Andrae Crouch and members of his choir. The lightskinned lady who starts singing at 4:36 is Tata Vega who provided Shug Avery's singing voice in The Color Purple.
