Members Jonathan Posted May 21, 2012 Members Share Posted May 21, 2012 I wanted to find out from people how they have successfully transferred TV programs over from their DVR to their computer or DVD? Are you doing it through a firewire cable? Can you play back the program on the DVR and record it to a DVD? Are you using a Mac or PC? Any tips are appreciated. Thanks! I had read though that when you play back the program from the DVR it won't let you record to the DVD recorder. However if you record it while it's airing live, it will. Members dragonflies Posted May 21, 2012 Members Share Posted May 21, 2012 nope never had that problem. it could be a problem with it not being hooked up correctly. mine is a magnavox I got at Big Lots, had it like 3 years now.
