I think it would be fun to start a thread about the first time daytime used a cliche or the earliest time a cliche was used. Rose Kransky on GL back in 1940 being the first women to have a child out of wedlock on Daytime. Today, it seems like EVERYONE on soaps is having a child out of wedlock. I know that cliche isn't the sexiest (pun not intended) but I think it is still cliche.

Also,

Don't get me wrong I am not against it in the real world and I am not one of those hypocritical Christians that shuns people when they do it. I would really like to see, however, someone on a soap getting married THEN have a kid. Basically, I don't find it convincing when everyone does it.
