Ladies Home Journal ran this article in 1900 about what would be happening in 100 years.

Some of that was right on the money. Wireless phones was a dead on prediction. "Air ships" is another thing they got right, but we call them planes, Man does see around the world today and we don't even need to go to a theater to see a coronation. Trains (not in the US) do go 150mph, and Americans are indeed taller.

    Too bad the "University will be free to every man and woman". I could totally dig that.

    It was true for a time in some states, such as California. And in others, such as New York, state schools had tuition of a couple hundred dollars per year. I guess we've regressed on this one.
